Description
With us you can experience "holidays in the country" and relax in quiet surroundings. The flat was extensively renovated in 2019 and offers a pleasant living climate through the use of natural materials (wood, clay).
The comfortable holiday flat over 2 floors with separate entrance has a size of 98m² and is located in the Umgebindehaus in 02689 Sohland / district Taubenheim, Oppacher Weg 16.
The flat is fully equipped. It includes a living room with sofa bed, radio, TV and fireplace, a modern fitted kitchen with refrigerator, sink, cooker, dishwasher and dining area for 4 people. The large bathroom has a shower, bathtub, WC and washing machine. Kitchen, bathroom and hallway are heated by underfloor heating. The large double bedroom is connected to another separate bedroom with 2 single beds. If you are travelling with a baby, we will be happy to provide you with a suitable cot and high chair. Free Wi-Fi, a parking space and a large garden with a cosy seating area, barbecue and campfire are also available for you.

Location and surroundings of object
Taubenheim is a beautiful village in Upper Lusatia in the district of Bautzen, on the border with the Czech Republic. The village stretches along the valley of the Spree River and is famous for its sundials and half-timbered houses
The Dresen-Zittau railway line has a stop in the village. On hot summer days, the solar-heated open-air swimming pool invites you to refresh yourself. In the restaurant "Am Bahnhof" you can enjoy tasty country cuisine.
The holiday home is located in a very quiet play street on the Spreeradwanderweg. Here, the magic of village idyll and unspoilt nature invites you to rest and relax.
Taubenheim and the surrounding area are ideal for hiking in the beautiful mountain landscape and for extensive cycling tours on the well-developed cycle paths.
The Zittau Mountains and Saxon Switzerland can be reached fairly quickly by car.

Family holiday
Dear Kahle family, we (1 adult and 3 children aged 8 & 2x13 years) felt incredibly comfortable with you!!!! It was an unforgettable, great & relaxing week with you.
Everything is available in the household. Nothing is missing. Great, sympathetic hosts who always went out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Fresh eggs were organised from the neighbour. They played table tennis with the kiddies. A couple with a kind heart!!! The kiddies were allowed to help themselves to the blueberries and strawberries in the garden. There are plenty of lakes and swimming pools and riding stables in the area
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you!!!! We were so happy there and could relax.... It was brilliant! We would have loved to stay longer... But congratulations: they are fully booked. I am really happy about that!!! On the last evening we had a barbecue together. It was great. Everyone contributed something. It was so heartfelt and honest. We really left with a teary eye. It was so warmly great and quiet! We will definitely be back!
P s. Even forgotten utensils in the house (flat key, charging cable etc . ) were returned promptly and without complications. We have taken this family to our hearts and will definitely come back again.
P s. In winter guaranteed also brilliant to ski resorts and the Czech Republic, both the cozy fireplace in the living room ??
