Our holiday home is located in one of the most beautiful nature and environmental regions on the Mecklenburg Lake District near the state-approved climatic health resort of Krakow am See. The woods, lakes, meadows and fields offer equally offers for passionate hikers and observers, peace and relaxation for chill enthusiasts as well as plenty of activities for adventurers. Krakow Lake has also been awarded the "Blue Flag" as a sign of special water quality.
From 1930 to 2007 there was still a sawmill on this site, which after a long process of approval and planning by "BHB Krakow am See" was transformed into a wonderful holiday home area with 20 houses. Each house bears the name of a bird living in the local region, which is meant to express our bond with nature.
We hope you will enjoy your accommodation, the holiday village and the surroundings as much as we do. As a small highlight, we promise you one of the clearest starry skies you have ever seen.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday home is specially prepared for you and should also remain a feel-good home for every other guest. Therefore, smoking is only allowed outside and no animals are allowed in our house. We are particularly concerned about the compatibility with allergy sufferers and the cleanliness of our accommodation.

Almost all windows are equipped with a roller shutter, which can be operated manually from the inside next to each window with a switch up or down. You can use these to keep the house cool and/or darken the rooms.

You will love our roof terrace. You open this via a manual switch on the second floor or directly on the terrace. There you have the possibility to use a gas barbecue and a table fireplace. You will find the operating instructions of the technical devices of the house in the left drawer of the hall chest. The seat covers for the terrace furniture are in the cupboard of the red bedroom.

Here you will also find a safe for securing your valuables (cupboard of the red bedroom).

We will be able to provide you with W-LAN soon.

We have left the operating instructions for the sauna for you in the left-hand drawer of the hallway chest of drawers.

A first aid kit is also in the cupboard in the hallway.

We have placed board games for family evenings or as a bad weather variant in the living room for you.

We are happy to offer you a change of linen if required. The intermediate cleaning incl. towel change is 120€. A sauna set consisting of bathrobe and bath towel can be rented for 12€/person.

Cancellation terms:

You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

You will find a beach volleyball court at the end of the holiday village on the right. You can use it free of charge when the court is free. You can rent a ball from us for €4/day.

You can also use the field for recreational badminton. We also offer a shuttlecock set for rent for 3€/day.

The house has 2 SUP boards. You may use these on the local lake. Please ask us for the paddles. The rental fee is 15€/ per sup-board per use (max. daily fee)

We also offer boat hire for canoe, kayak and pedal boat for 25€/day or 15€/half day (up to or from 12 o'clock).

You will find a public access to the jetty and also as a possible bathing spot with ladder via the passageway in the middle of the left rows of holiday homes. A shallow bathing area directly accessible via a small beach can be reached approx. 1km to the right of the entrance gate along the forest, around the outside of the holiday village

You will find shopping facilities in Krakow am See. There is a petrol station (open until 9 pm) and a shopping complex with Netto, a drinks market and KIK directly behind the village entrance. A little further into the village you will find an Edeka and Aldi as well as smaller shops in the town centre.
