It is a beautiful environment. Unfortunately, it rained all week, 61.2 mm. We wanted to hike in the mountains for a week. With these heavy showers, it was not an option. We left after three nights.

Beautiful house in the mountains with lots of privacy, clean comfortable beds, complete kitchen with all basic necessities already available. Friendly reception. The children can play in the surrounding forest and stream. Plenty to do and discover in the area.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We were welcomed very warmly, a swing had even been installed just before our stay because they knew we would be coming with young children. We also had a lot of fun with the hammock, the foosball table and the bbq. The house is very clean, has good beds, plenty of towels and kitchen towels and cleaning products. Everything you need is available, from basic spices to aluminum foil. Really fantastic! The only good thing to know is that the house is in San Boldo and the road to it has a lot of hairpin bends (if you come from Cison, if you come via Trichiana there is no problem). You will be rewarded by a beautiful view and a wonderfully quiet spot against the edge of the forest.

The two landlords were very friendly and gave us an introduction to the house upon arrival. The house was a bit cool upon arrival in October and took a day or two to absorb the heat from the heating system. It is equipped with basically everything you need (trash bags, toilet paper, cleaning and washing supplies, as well as salt and pepper, sugar, etc.). The only issue is that the Wi-Fi is very unreliable due to the location of the house, in case someone is absolutely dependent on it. It was also very unfortunate that the oven as well as the open fireplace in the house could not be used and that heating the house costs 12 euros per night, which seemed very much to us. The house itself and its location are very nice, although due to the location at the San Boldo Pass, one has to drive the serpentine roads every time to get anywhere. You can also hike from the house, but the "big hikes" in the Dolomites are of course about 1.5 hours away by car. All in all, we had a very nice time in the house and would recommend it at any time despite the aforementioned comfort drawbacks.
