Our log cabin offers you plenty of space to relax and unwind (approx. 120sqm) for up to 6 people.
The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside you will find the whirlpool, the sauna, a sun terrace and a covered terrace.

Our new log cabin is located in the municipality of Spiegelau in the Bavarian Forest.
Many excursion destinations await you there, such as: the Rachel, Lusen and Arber; many hiking trails directly on site and in the whole surrounding area; the Lusen National Park Centre in Neuschönau with a large animal enclosure and tree-top walk; various museums; a natural swimming pool in Spiegelau; an open-air swimming pool in Grafenau and several lakes.
In summer and winter, a wide variety of leisure activities can be enjoyed, such as Hiking (cleared winter hiking trails in winter); cycling; mountain biking; climbing; tobogganing; skiing; cross-country skiing (cross-country skiing centre Spiegelau-Klingenbrunn 3 min. drive); sledging; snowshoeing, swimming;...and much more.

Very beautiful holiday home
We spent a few days in this really very beautiful, modern holiday home. The booking and contact with the landlords was very friendly and went smoothly. Our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the garden and were also very taken with the surrounding area. Overall, our four-legged friends were very welcome, even among the other villagers (our dogs, however, do not bark ;-)). The furnishings of the house are modern and very nice. It was very clean and everything was to our satisfaction.
The kitchen was also very modern and sufficiently equipped.
Anyone planning to cook more might want to bring a few large sharp knives themselves.
In summary: It was great, we would love to come back!

Vacation in a dreamlike idyll
We searched for a suitable accommodation for our short vacation (four nights) for a long time, as we were traveling with two dogs and a toddler.
With this property in Althütte, we definitely found it!
The entire property is dog-friendly and fenced. (It couldn't be better!)
The house has all the amenities we needed, and our expectations were even far exceeded. An absolute highlight is of course - besides the house - the separate sauna and the covered whirlpool.
Also, the cleanliness in the house and throughout the entire property is commendable.
Regarding the location, it should be mentioned that you mostly depend on the car, which in our case (child and dogs) was the only option anyway.
Moreover, we specifically sought a quiet accommodation, hence the 5 stars for the location.
Nice and uncomplicated contact with Ms. Elias, and the price-performance ratio is right. Thank you once again for this beautiful house and the loving, pet-friendly furnishings.
Absolutely recommend!

A beautiful log cabin to feel comfortable as described in the pictures. Clean and comfortably furnished, nothing is missing. A nice and friendly landlord leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice and well-kept holiday home
The house is very clean and lovingly decorated. The contact with the landlords was very pleasant. They were extremely accommodating. This is not something you experience often. Mrs. Elias was available to us at all times. Thank you very much!

the price is worth it!!!
We were initially a bit skeptical because we had never spent so much money on a vacation home (we were "only" two people with a dog), but it was really worth it.
We had never seen such a clean house before. Little decoration, but the wooden interior made the house look very friendly and cozy. Thanks to the clean windows, every room had a wonderful view.
We were initially a bit hesitant about the kitchen equipment (e.g. no teapot, no lemon squeezer, no thermos), but we bought some things and were reimbursed without any problems.
Overall, the contact with Mrs. Elias, although not personal, was very friendly and helpful. She was always available, and I think she would have immediately helped if there had been more serious problems.
The garden is completely fenced, which was great for our dog, and the covered, secluded terrace with the outdoor hot tub is fantastic. The clean sauna also provides a great experience.
The house is very quiet, which we personally loved. However, if you want to go out to eat in the evening, you have to take the car.
Mobile phone reception in Althütte and the surrounding area was rather poor, but the internet in the house worked perfectly.
Overall, we had a fantastic week (with great weather too ;), thank you for that!
