The sheltered terrace is ideal for relaxing after excursions along the magnificent emerald coast. The cliffs of the rugged Cap Fréhel rise 70 m above the sea and offer a magnificent panoramic view all the way to Normandy. You can reach the impressive Fort Lalatte, the castle that has served as the setting for several adventure films, on a good hour's walk, but the first sandy beach is only a few minutes' walk away.
The small village of Fréhel with shops, restaurants is 3 km inland, 4 km from the popular seaside resort of Sables-d'Or-les-Pins and 8 km from the Cap. Sables d'Or-les Pins offers a wide range of leisure and water sports activities, including a sailing school, an 18-hole golf course, 7 tennis courts, a casino and numerous restaurants.
