Mangelnde Hygiene
The house is well equipped overall, with the kitchen being particularly noteworthy. Unfortunately, there was no bathtub available. Additionally, there are only 2 toilets, contrary to what was declared on the website. Upon arrival, we found the house in an unsatisfactory hygienic condition, so we had to do a thorough cleaning ourselves. Not the ideal start to our vacation. The towels in the house smelled like dog, and there were animal hairs on the bedding. Dog food and dog bowls were found, indicating that the owners or previous tenants had a dog in the house. Additionally, there were broken windows in the living room and bathroom.

Super Ferienhaus
We spent a week holiday at Villa Sterenborg with our three grandchildren (13, 7, and 4 years old); it was a successful week, partly thanks to the spacious house and property. From the beginning, we had a really nice contact with the landlord, and the rental was done via email with a very fair contract. We found Villa Sterenborg as described in the advertisement. The house is very well maintained, the bedrooms are functional furnished with good mattresses, the living room is very cozy, and the kitchen lacks nothing. On the large terrace, one can stay from breakfast to dinner behind the protective hedge, especially since the parasol can be set up in various ways. The spacious, secured property also allows for a vacation with younger children; they can also move around on the adjacent cul-de-sac. The short distance to the beach invites you to visit this excellent, clean natural area daily. By bike, you can easily reach places like Julianadorp, Den Helder, etc. via the nearby bike paths. The house is the ideal holiday accommodation for families with children. It is not overcrowded with 6 people. We will gladly return to this villa at the appropriate time and can only recommend it.
