Description
Terraced house in a small complex . Together with 9 other owners we share the 10 000 m2 grounds and the well maintained pool. La Colina is located just above the beach with wonderful views of the sea and the Golden Cape above El Portet. The lively town of Moraira is located in the next bay and is about 2 km away.
This is what our vacation home offers: 2 large bedrooms, one with sea view, the other with view to the pool. One with extra large double bed, the other with 2 single beds. Each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom. Both have air conditioning, ceiling fan, mosquito screens and heating for the winter months. The small living room , also with a/c, leads to the large sea view terrace, which offers both shade and sunshine with part of the terrace being covered. But facing south the house has all day sunshine. Open kitchen, separate dining room.
The picturesque sandy bay of El Portet is at your feet and you can walk down to it in a few minutes. Back uphill takes somehow longer: our wonderful view comes at a price: we are above the sea.
To explore the beautiful surroundings we recommend a car to enjoy the wild mountain scenery with simple restaurants away from the coast, visit Valencia with its historical centre and ultra-modern sights by the sea, Denia with walks along its endless beach which is partly framed by sand dunes.... Our small holiday oasis La Colina is away from the hustle and bustle and offers even in the summer months a retreat, but only 5 minutes by car from the lively resort of Moraira with countless restaurants for every taste and budget.
The Mediterranean market there offers local produce and many interesting finds on Fridays and is a meeting place for locals and visitors alike. Then when you're back and sitting on your terrace with a glass of wine, looking down at the sea where yachts are anchored in the turquoise waters, you have truly arrived in paradise. La Colina, recommended
Pure relaxation: we had breakfast on the terrace in the sun (in December), enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea and the peace and quiet.
Everything was just right.
The beach is within walking distance - but the way back is very uphill.
Moraira with all shops is 2 km away. We liked the many restaurants and the market on Friday
We felt very comfortable in La Colina and are looking forward to coming back in summer

We have been coming to Moraira for 25 years. First in the vacations. Our dream was always the idyllic El Portet and here we found the cottage we love in La Colina. Meanwhile I rent it to people who also want to escape the hustle and bustle and love nature. I myself live on a finca in the mountains.
