Description
The "Villa Paraiso" is located in a quiet private development (residential area) on a hill, from which you have an almost 180-degree view of the sea. The property is south-facing. From the covered terrace, you look out over the beautiful Andalusian garden with fantastic sea views in the background. This combination of a peaceful location with sea view and modern amenities invites a relaxed stay. Our guest apartment is lovingly equipped with many essential utensils that contribute to an immediate sense of well-being for a self-catering stay for 2 people (max. 3rd person for an additional €15.00/night). It consists of an open living/kitchen area (with air conditioning), bathroom, and separate bedroom (with air conditioning).
In the living area, the cozy sofa corner (L-shape) with a small side table invites you to read, relax, or simply watch TV. The sofa can be easily converted into a comfortable sofa bed for a third person with just two simple steps. (Dimensions: 140x200 cm). It has an additional integrated bed box, in which bedding or similar items can be quickly stored. The kitchen counter with granite top and integrated 2-zone ceramic hob + separate oven offers enough space to prepare Mediterranean delicacies yourself. You will find in the lower/upper cabinets and drawers a fully equipped kitchen interior with complete tableware, various pots and pans, baking/casserole dishes, bowls, colander, salad spinner, hand blender/puree stick, as well as dish towels and storage containers. The refrigerator has a large 3*** freezer compartment and a vegetable drawer. From the kitchen counter and the opposite square wooden table, you have a view of and direct access to the terrace, the garden, and the pool. All windows and glass doors are triple-glazed and equipped with shutters. All windows in the apartment are fitted with permanently installed fly screens. On the spacious terrace (approx. 16 sqm), the high-back chairs offer comfortable seating at the table or, with additional footstools, can be converted into a recliner. Additionally, there is an individually adjustable sun lounger. In addition to the fixed terrace roof, a large sunshade and side-mounted sun protection curtains provide extra shade depending on the position of the sun.
The bedroom (with air conditioning) has 2 comfortable single beds (90x200 cm) with cold foam/latex mattresses, which can be combined into a double bed upon request. Each bed has its own bedside lamp and storage space. The wardrobe offers enough space with hanging options using clothes hangers and storage shelves. The small bathroom with a window is optimally and functionally designed. It features a spacious walk-in shower with a glass partition, toilet, washbasin with a side power outlet. In the vanity unit with 2 large drawers you will find a hairdryer, cosmetic/magnifying mirror, and various possibly necessary cosmetic/hygiene items. Integrated wall/shelf compartments and a shelf provide space for a toiletry bag and towels.
In the small hallway between the bathroom and bedroom, there is a large three-door wardrobe that offers plenty of space as a coat closet and for storage. In the side section, a wall-mounted safe as well as beach towels, cleaning utensils, etc. are stored.
In the outdoor area, the shared pool (8x4 m) invites you to cool off. The pool terrace "Titanic" offers a view far across the sea to the horizon. Relaxing chairs and a sunshade invite you to enjoy a sundowner or simply to relax.
NOTE: Due to the current water shortage in Spain, especially Andalusia, we cannot currently estimate whether we will be able to keep the pool open during the summer/autumn months. We ask for your understanding!

The "Villa Paraiso" consists of two building complexes. In the front one is the apartment, which is suitable for a quiet, relaxing holiday. In the adjoining house behind, we live ourselves. Due to the hillside location, you have an almost 180° view of the Mediterranean and of the Bay of Málaga up to Fuengirola. On clear days, the mountains of the Rif range in Morocco can be seen. For a visit to the beach, our guests have sunshade + beach chairs at their disposal. A rental car is recommended!

Excellent, highly recommended
In search of relaxation, enjoyment for all senses, with a few spontaneous excursions (e.g. to Malaga or Gibraltar: both absolutely worth experiencing and seeing!) and above all comfort, we came across this property in Benajarafe. The anticipation for the holiday began with the booking:
- easy contact with the owners.
- no complicated booking processes through any portals
The accommodation is very nicely furnished and extremely clean. From the terrace, you have a view over the village to the sea :-). We recommend this beautiful accommodation to everyone on this wonderful spot on earth.

As if you were at home.
Normally I rarely write positive reviews - because the better the offer, the greater the number of competitors for a scarce resource! I therefore ask for inquiries for the upcoming winter season to be discussed in advance with my wife, our dog, and me. Joking aside, the tears have dried. We had a wonderful time with Dodo and Raid and would have liked to extend for a second time. From beginning to end, a harmonious stay in a paradise-like atmosphere with really nice hosts. We will come back if our health allows it. Heike, Jörg, and Rala.

We'll be back!
We were absolutely delighted with this great accommodation! Above all, the view from the private terrace of the sea including the sunsets was simply fantastic. The furnishings of this pretty casita leave absolutely nothing to be desired. There was nothing we missed in the kitchen. The accommodation is also equipped with all possible household utensils that you could need, we didn't miss anything at all! In the bedroom, we were greeted by two comfortable beds that are not as worn out as in many places. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, we slept excellently for the whole 3 weeks. The hosts Dodo and Raid welcomed us warmly. We even had our own parking space for our rental car. We are very much looking forward to returning to this dreamlike place :-)

You can't really do any better.
At first glance, just the view of the sea from the terrace or pool is enough to make this accommodation perfect. You don't need to do anything else all day and you're already happy. At a second glance, there are Dodo and Raid, who made the stay something very special with their warm nature and eye for detail. In addition, there is a perfectly equipped apartment (there's nothing that doesn't exist), very clean, spacious enough and practical, the mentioned huge terrace and a great pool with a green garden, all just a few minutes away from the beach, bars and restaurants. The house is on a small hill, but it is easy to reach and offers the best view. Upon arrival, I was even picked up from the bus stop (hourly connection to Málaga)! I can only highly recommend the accommodation with them and will definitely come back ? Thank you!

Welcome to Villa Paraiso! in 2007 we discovered the eastern Costa del Sol and its small region called "Axarquia" (the Eastern), where the coastal town of Benajarafe is located. Its location provided a good starting point to combine all the activities of a varied vacation. Located directly on the sea, with a very long and wide beach, without tourist strongholds and only 25 km east of Málaga. So easily accessible by plane and with an urban appealing life. In addition, the most beautiful hiking areas of southern Europe with a partly unique variety of fauna and flora, and with the most famous cultural sites all in the immediate vicinity to make a day trip there in 2013 we were able to acquire the "Villa Paraiso" and with a lot of heart and sweat have created from the former two houses the present apartment house and our own residence So ....schlicht and simply a place where it is good to live, work and vacation. Let yourself be fascinated by the "so different" world, where time and clocks have their own beat. Still Europe, but Africa is already close enough to touch with the naked eye. A cultural potpourri - of past and present, of history and modernity, of Orient and Occident - just like the two of us who have been living this harmonious coexistence for more than three decades.
