Description
This charming vacation home with its large garden (1100m2) is located between the mountains and the sea in the village of Laroque des Albères at the foot of the Pyrenees not far from the Spanish border. From the terrace you have a view of the heated pool, the fenced garden and the mountain massif of the Albères.
Laroque is a traditional Catalan village, offering both tranquility and easy access to recreation, beach (Le Racou) and mountains. The cottage is located about 500m from the village center, there is a calming atmosphere and also has some very good restaurants. You can enjoy peace and quiet here, or a market day in the small idyllic town of Céret and if you want a little more hustle and bustle, visit the 10km away Argeles-sur-Mer or the nearby artist town of Collioure (20km) - here is something for everyone!
The cottage is located about 500m from the village center. In Laroque there is a soothing atmosphere and also some good restaurants.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is detached with a living area of 160 m² distributed over two floors and offers three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one ensuite). The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning
Upon entering the house you will find yourself in the large living/dining area with TV corner. On the first floor there is also the kitchen and laundry (with extra fridge) and a double bedroom (bed 160 cm x 190 cm) with bathroom en-suite, there is also a guest toilet.
The glass doors in the kitchen open onto the patio with a barbecue, a dining table with chairs and views of the heated pool, the garden and the Albères mountain range. From the kitchen a staircase leads to the double garage.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms, one room is equipped with a 140 cm x 190 cm double bed and has a privé terrace with a beautiful view of the mountain massif of the Albères. In the second room you will find two single beds (90 cm x 190 cm). On the floor there is also a separate guest toilet and bathroom with a shower cabin and washbasin.
The garden and the heated swimming pool (10m x 4m) are maintained on a regular basis to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness.
The garden with electric gate is mature and large and fully fenced.

Perfect time out
I was lucky enough to enjoy a longer stay. The house is perfect for a stay with friends and especially in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine you think you don't want to leave :-) The house is perfectly located for the many walks you can take! The restaurants, also within walking distance, have exceptionally good food! I look forward to the next time.

Dream villa for the whole family
We have already spent our holidays in Laroque the last few years because we liked the place so much. This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful villa and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Our children were especially enthusiastic about the pool, the table tennis table in the basement and the beautiful large garden. We will definitely be back again next year!
