While it gets really hot in the summer months in the interior, here on the coast the temperatures rarely go above 30°C in summer and there is always a light wind blowing
Due to its central location, you can make wonderful day trips from Caleta to Granada with the Alhambra, or Cordoba with its beautiful Mezquita, Nerja with its caves or Seville, Ronda, Marbella, Gibraltar, etc..
