No warm welcome! The neighbor indicated upon arrival that we had landed in a catastrophe. Unfortunately, this good man was right. First, we noticed that extensive renovations were taking place in the building where we were going to stay. In the bathroom, we found mold in several places. You could feel the coil of the bed mattress immediately, and we woke up with muscle pain. The kitchen was not as equipped as we had been promised beforehand. The 2 electric hot plates did not get warm enough to prepare food on. There was no washing machine, BBQ present. As stated in the advertisement. When we pointed out these deficiencies, we received strong resistance from the landlord who only communicated via app. In the apartment, there was only a woman and a man present who could understand and speak broken English/German. We had to ask for clean towels ourselves. The Bregenerwald discount card that you were supposed to receive automatically with a stay of more than 3 days in Bregenerwald, we did not receive. At the gondola lifts, we were pointed out here. This quickly saved us more than €100 in total if we had received the ticket. We wanted to leave, as the situation regarding communication only became more grim. There was even a threat to look us up on social media by copying texts. All in all, this was enough to leave. The amount that was promised to us as compensation is still not in our account. We had to urgently look for something else to continue our vacation. Our advice for any future guests is therefore not to stay here!

A charming little place in the mountains! The property was well maintained and very cozy. We especially enjoyed the barbecue facilities in the garden. It was a short drive to some excellent dining options, like the Gasthof Goldener Adler, where we had a delicious meal.

The accommodation was very pleasant for our short stay, Everything we needed was available, The hostess promptly answered our questions, However, we were confused by the check-out instructions, as we could not comply with them due to the circumstances on site.

Had a pleasant stay here, The studio was equipped with all necessary things, and we appreciated the separate bedroom for privacy, The area is quiet, which makes it easy to relax, We didn't explore much nearby, but the hiking trails looked promising!
