The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired. The furnishings are high quality, the decor and the fireplace are great, for children there is everything from the cart to the stroller, as well as toys for both indoors and outdoors. The location is superb, everything in Zingst can be reached on foot and it was pleasantly quiet despite the surrounding houses. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by the employee of the room service Zingst, Am Bahnhof 1 in Zingst. Arrival should be possible from 4 PM. We were already on site at 3:42 PM - yes, a little too early, but I still introduced myself politely with my name and the booked holiday home and asked for our house key. The "nice" man then informed me that the key was not yet on site and that we would have to wait. He offered to call me back as soon as he had the key and he mentioned the supposed last digits of my phone number. When I informed him that this was not my phone number, he only snippily replied that it must be my number since I had provided it during booking. After rechecking the name, the "friendly" gentleman stated that there was no booking under my name either. After some back and forth, the employee noticed that he had opened the wrong data in his booking program, but there was no apology. We then drove back and waited for the call from the gentleman. At 4:15 PM, we went to the room allocation again, as we had arrived with our 3-year-old son, a 9-year-old child, and 4 adults and wanted to check in. The gentleman was not pleased to see us again and tried to brush us off with the words, "... I haven't called you yet." We asked him to call the cleaning service to inquire when we could expect the key. He then replied that he does not have any phone number for this company, as the cleaning is done by an external company and the arrival is to be planned between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, this was not noted anywhere; otherwise, we would have chosen a different house. The booking confirmation also stated that the house can be occupied from 4 PM. We then waited in the room allocation until the key arrived. However, no one came to bring the key. Apparently annoyed by our waiting, with a total of 6 people, the gentleman was suddenly able to hand us the key without anyone having brought it. An absolute cheek, especially when traveling with children. Yes, we were a bit early on site, but a brief communication regarding this would have been completely sufficient. The gentleman simply wanted to assert his "power," which in our eyes is completely unacceptable. We go to the Darß every year in September—whether it's Ahrenshoop, Born, or Prerow, something like this has never happened to us before. This greatly dampens the vacation feeling, and with such a beautiful house, it's really a shame when the stay is ruined by a single person. Fortunately, the gentleman was not on site when we returned the key. I would book the house again, but not if the handling is done through the room agency Zingst.

The house is very beautiful and tastefully furnished, and we had a great vacation! The gas fireplace and the sauna are notable features (not used, it was overall too warm, but certainly great outside of the peak summer!). We also really liked the garden at the house with the barbecue option (unfortunately, the grill is already a bit old, but it was still usable. A grill tongs was missing, we bought one and left it for the next guests). Suggestions for improvement: The living/dining room is fully visible from the neighborhood through the window front at the dining table due to the lack of blinds/curtains. We especially felt like we were "on display" in the evenings with the lighting. The fact that there is no shading option in this area at all is a drawback. We don't want to complain about the wonderful weather ;-), but especially. The ground floor was already heated to 27-28 degrees by the morning sun, which was unpleasant during breakfast. Those would be the two main points of criticism; perhaps a "retrofitting" is possible? Unfortunately, 2 of the 3 coated pans are completely scratched (a common problem in vacation rentals, no one would handle their own equipment like that at home!). ), which is probably also due to the fact that there is no plastic spatula available (we managed with the wooden cooking spoons). The toilet brushes urgently need to be replaced. The presence of a coffee machine was good in itself, but we first had to clean it thoroughly. Defective bulbs in the bathrooms were immediately replaced, and a burnt-out hairdryer was also replaced right away.

Das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig, die Einrichtung und der Kamin sind toll, für Kinder ist vom Bollerwagen bis zum Kinderbuggy, über Spielsachen sowohl für drinnen, als auch für draußen, alles vorhanden. Die Lage ist super, man kann in Zingst alles fußläufig erreichen und es war trotz der umliegenden Häuser schön ruhig. Leider wurde unsere Anreise durch den Mitarbeiter der Zimmervermittlung Zingst, Am Bahnhof 1 in Zingst, getrübt. Die Anreise sollte ab 16 Uhr möglich sein. Wir waren bereits 15.42 Uhr vor Ort- ja, ein wenig zu früh, aber ich stellte mich dennoch freundlich mit Namen und dem gebuchten Ferienhaus vor und fragte nach unserem Hausschlüssel. Der "nette" Mann teilte mir daraufhin mit, dass der Schlüssel noch nicht vor Ort wäre und wir warten müssten. Er bot mir einen Rückruf an, sobald ihm der Schlüssel vorliege und er nannte mir die vermeintlichen Endzahlen meiner Telefonnummer. Als ich ihm mitteilte, dass dies nicht meine Rufnummer sei, meinte er nur schnippisch, dass das meine Nummer sein müsste, da ich diese ja bei Buchung angegeben habe. Nach erneutem Abgleich des Namens meinte der "freundliche" Herr, dass auch auf meinen Namen keine Buchung vorliege. Nach einigem hin und her bemerkte der Mitarbeiter, dass er in seinem Buchungsprogramm die falschen Daten geöffnet hatte, eine Entschuldigung gab es jedoch nicht. Wir sind daraufhin wieder gefahren und warteten auf den Anruf des Herrn. 16.15 Uhr sind wir erneut zur Zimmervermittlung, da wir mit unserem 3 jährigen Sohn, einem 9 jähringen Kind und 4 Erwachsenen angereist sind und ankommen wollten. Der Herr war nicht erfreut uns erneut zu sehen und versuchte uns mit den Worten "...ich habe sie ja noch nicht angerufen" wieder abzuwimmeln. Wir baten darum, dass er den Reinigungsdienst anrufen möchte um nachzufragen, wann wir mit dem Schlüssel rechnen können. Daraufhin entgegnete er, dass ihm keine Telefonnummer dieser Firma vorliegt, da die Reinigung durch eine externe Firma erfolgt und die Anreise ja schließlich zwischen 16.00 und 18.00 Uhr einzuplanen ist. Leider war dies nirgendwo vermerkt, dann hätten wir uns für ein anderes Haus entschieden. In der Buchungsbestätigung war auch angegeben, dass das Haus ab 16 Uhr bezogen werden kann. Wir warteten dann in der Zimmervermittlung bis der Schlüssel eintraf. Es kam jedoch niemand der den Schlüssel brachte. Scheinbar genervt von unserem warten, mit insgesamt 6 Personen, konnte der Herr uns plötzlich, ohne das jemand diesen gebracht hat, den Schlüssel aushändigen. Eine absolute Frechheit, gerade wenn man mit Kindern anreist. Ja, wir waren etwas zu früh vor Ort, aber eine kurze Mitteilung diesbezüglich wäre vollkommen ausreichend gewesen. Der Herr wollte einfach seine "Macht" deutlich machen, was in unseren Augen gar nicht geht. Wir fahren jedes Jahr im September auf den Darß- ob ihn Ahrenshoop, Born oder Prerow, so etwas ist uns bisher nicht passiert. Das trübt das Urlaubsfeeling ungemein und bei so einem wunderschönen Haus ist es echt schade, wenn der Aufenthalt durch eine einzige Person so vermiest wird. Zum Glück war der Herr bei Abgabe des Schlüssels nicht vor Ort. Das Haus würde ich erneut buchen, aber nicht, wenn die Abwicklung über die Zimmervermittlung Zingst läuft.
