Bungalow in Noiseux with Wood-Fired Hot Tub

A very pleasant experience, the bungalow was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. We appreciated the quiet location, which allowed us to relax after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Durbuy Adventure.

The cottage itself is a good base, but still needs some attention in terms of maintenance. Firstly, the bar was poorly cleaned (children's shirt between 2 beds, medicines in a bedside table, worn socks over the smoke detectors, broken oven lamp, refrigerator that leaves everything on the lowest setting freezing, bath without shower curtain and no possibility to hang the sprinkler). So overall impression: spend 3 weeks income from the cottage to maintain, upgrade, and clean some things.

Spacious atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The garden has its own vibe, and the wood-fired hot tub is something very special! Free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver for posting pictures. I just loved the cozy decoration. Would definitely come back!

The accommodation was very nice in terms of decor and style. That has to be said! Beds are wonderful to sleep in. Still a few small points of justified criticism: On arrival it turned out that no one had been there for a long time, since we had to go in through the cobwebs. The floor was not clean and everything was dusty! It's really a shame because I still had contact with the agency 3 times in the same week. You also assume that someone will do a check-up after all, don't you?! Apparently some fly nests had already broken out because it was strewn with dead flies. And 100 that flew around. This would be best seen before guests come. Also on arrival someone had to go to the toilet urgently ... no toilet roll to be seen. It would be a nice tip if there was just 1 roll available on arrival, as is the case in other places. If not, it should be in the description. There would be wood to light the hot tub... I asked twice beforehand by phone whether the hot tub was certainly usable. It was assumed at the desk that there should be normal wood. (During the weekend itself (Saturday) I called again when it turned out that there was only 1 block.) Is there no one who checks the accommodation before the guests arrive? Those are my points of criticism that can be solved very quickly and simply For example, a shower curtain is not a great extra comfort, is it? It could be a nice, simple improvement to be able to shower without acrobat stunts and flooding. Hopefully the rental office will take this into account from now on. For the rest, the area was very nice for walking. Durbuy and other activities were also very close so geographically it was an ideal place. Regards, Kathryn

Unfortunately, we arrived, the cottage was dirty and it smelled terrible. After the complaint, extra cleaning was done and sufficient attention was paid to the problem. However, the smell was completely in the cottage. We left 2 days earlier.

The location is fantastic for nature lovers! We could hike in the Ardennes and still be close to local dining options like Le Pressoir. The bungalow had everything we needed, and we appreciated the free WiFi for planning our adventures.
