Nice little house. A bit outdated though. No hook for the showerhead, so you have to hold it by hand while showering. The view is very nice. The small grassy area in the garden is the perfect spot for a game of badminton.

The house is well located, in a quiet area. Unfortunately, the kitchen is too poorly equipped (e.g., 5 knives while you can stay here with 6 people). The plates, cutlery, and some of the cooking pots were dirty in the cupboard. The oven has only 1 baking tray, no rack. The house heats up quickly with the heaters. Good beds. The front bedroom does smell very musty, damp, and remains so despite airing out.

Hotton at home had a layer of water in it and was not clean. There was no plug in the bath. Only hand shower without screen or curtain. It was not really very clean and kitchen appliances needed to be replaced. E-mail some more glassware would have been nice too.

Initially very doubtful about whether we would go here with our family of 5 and 2 cats due to the bad reviews. But because of the location, the large house, and the sharp price, we decided to go anyway. However, the reviews are accurate. First, let's address the downsides: How is it possible that after all the feedback from visitors, nothing has been done to the bathroom?! There is only a bathtub, without a shower wall or curtain, and still no hanging system for the showerhead(... ) I had expected that something would have been done about this after all those years. Moreover, the showerhead was peeling, and you have to hold it the whole time, making everything soaking wet. Really not pleasant. Also, the heater didn't work in the bathroom, so everything was wet and stayed wet. Fortunately, there was still a sink in the master bedroom, so everyone brushed their teeth there. The reviews about the amount in the kitchen are also correct. Quite basic. Only some cutlery and some glasses, which is really too little for the 6 people that the house should accommodate. So the dishwasher has been running a lot. Also, remember to bring your own dish soap/tablets, brush, cloths. The house could really use a good cleaning and painting. Lots of dirt, dust rags, and dead insects on the walls and ceilings. Tip: install screens! We just kept our blinders on. And lastly, the extra costs. You still have to pay afterwards for the electricity and oil, which you also have to report yourself, and in addition, the wood for the hot tub is also 8.50 per bag. I wonder how much of the deposit we will get back, but this ultimately makes the cottage really not advantageous. Additionally, you have to return your dirty bedding and towels, for which you also have to pay extra, to the reception where you also had to pick up the key. Quite disgusting. But there are definitely positive points: It is a spacious house with large bedrooms and really nice beds. The stoves that do work heat up quickly, and despite the furniture being very basic, we could still sit cozily like that. Beautiful large garden with a little bit of a view. The garden is only at the front. The hot tub is also in the front yard, behind a piece of fence. Once it was a bit up to temperature, it was really a nice plus of this house. Maybe it's good to mention that the house is right next to a busy road and quite a lot of traffic rushes by. At night, really close the windows to be able to sleep. It is mega central, close to Durbuy and Hotton. Also went to Bastogne and La Roche-en-Ardenne. Walked a lot in the beautiful nature and saw nice places. Overall, we really had a good time together and it's an okay little house for a few days. If you want to stay here longer, there really needs to be some improvement in maintenance and service.

We had the best time in this holiday home in Noiseux! The garden was just lovely for our morning coffee, and we really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. It was nice that there was enough space for our group of 6, and everything was really well maintained. I would say the only downside was that the WiFi could be better, but honestly, we were too busy having fun to care much about that. Would definitely come back!
