Nice and traditional Norwegian holiday cabin in a beautiful mountain landscape. Hemsedal is an Eldorado for ski enthusiasts and anyone who wants mountain hikes in scenic surroundings. The cabins at Hulbak are located in quiet and beautiful surroundings with a hiking trails, golf and activity center nearby. It is 2.5 km to Hemsedal Ski Center and 200 meters to the cross-country ski trail. The cabin Hallingstue is 65 m2 with sleeping space for 4 to 5 people. Cozy cottage decor and beautiful fireplace in the living room. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 1 double bed, the other with a family bunk bed where the bed downstairs is 120 cm. In the living room there is satellite TV. The kitchen has what is needed for self-catering. A boat can be rented to take a trip on Hydalsvatnet, where you can fish for trout. Fishing licenses can be purchased by the water.

The house is beautifully located at the end of a short gravel path. Below are other houses – including that of the landlord. But actually, it feels almost like a secluded location. The property is surrounded by rocks, trees, wild meadows, and a wall made of natural stones. Inside, the house is more spacious than it appears in the pictures. The only downside: the refrigerator does not cool properly and is also quite loud. And the shower tray... well, one has to overlook that. All in all, a beautiful house – especially since it is located in a really great area. You can go for a hike directly from the house, and very close by (5 km) there is a very nice waterfall with short hiking trails (you can also go into the water there). In the immediate and wider surroundings, there are many more opportunities for hiking. We are coming back next year and have already booked. Maybe the refrigerator was replaced then :-) Recommendations: Along the Hemsedalsvegen, there are many spots from which you can go hiking. Hydalen is also very beautiful, where the boat is located, which can be rented relatively cheaply.
