7 person holiday home in Hemsedal-By Traum
Hemsedal
Price/performance for this size is okay. Quiet location a bit outside of Hemsedal. Center reachable on foot (about 3 km). Recommendations: There is a small booklet for hikes in the area at the Hemsedal tourist information. One should start with the green suggestions, then one can better assess the descriptions. Trip to Lykkja, about 17 km, (Panorama path) recommended, beautiful area around the mountain Skogshorn.

4 star holiday home in gol
Buskerud
Quiet house far away from everyone and everything, but still easily accessible by car. There are many opportunities for sports activities (on foot or by bike in summer, in winter there are some cross-country skiing options...). The only disadvantage: the road leading to the house is toll-required, but the price is moderate (60 NOK per entry). The house has space for up to 12 people, with at least 6 of them should be children :) Recommendations: Food and drinks should be available for the entire duration of the stay, the nearest shopping opportunity is 20km away (in Gol) and typically expensive. If you want to use the fireplace, you should bring fire starters, I found nothing in the house. Strangely, there were also very few spoons, while forks were plentiful.
