Maison Valentin; a charming detached house located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, while only about 2.5 km from the center of Le Bugue with its stores, bars, restaurants and amenities.
The house is fully furnished. The equipment of the kitchen leaves hardly anything to be desired. (Induction stove, oven, fridge-freezer, espresso machine, cafétière, kettle, microwave, scales, blender, dishwasher, washing machine with tumbler, ironing board and iron, clothes horse, vacuum cleaner, etc.)
Kitchen linen included.
The bathroom has a bathtub and shower, a towel dryer, hairdryer and bathroom scales. Linen included.
In the living room closet there is a TV, plus a DVD reader.
The house has an alarm system. There is also an exhaust system to keep the house cool.
For cooler days electric radiators are installed.
The level garden is a relaxing oasis with about 2000m². Fenced all around and secluded with shrubs and hedges. Shady areas can be found under trees or on the terrace under the sun blind or the pergola. The large swimming pool invites you to cool down if necessary. Dimensions: 5x11 meters with entry steps and handrail. Water depth from 1.30 to 2.15 meters. It has an immersion alarm

Under the pergola with louvered roof there is a table with 8 chairs. The gas grill is right next to it. There are also 6 sun beds and 2 benches on the lawn. On the terrace 1 table with 6 chairs. the fruits of the garden may be harvested with pleasure. Some kitchen herbs are also growing. In the lower part of the property there is enough space for e.g. ball games.
Cars can be parked in front of the garage or inside the property at the 2nd portal.

WHO WE ARE "We" are Margrit and Heinz, a multi-faceted retired couple from German-speaking Switzerland. We bought our house in the Périgord in 2013 and have lived here all year since our retirement in 2017. We love the climate, the region, the way of life, the markets with the great variety of food of the region, the weekly brocantes and flea markets of the region and enjoy living in our beautiful home. The cottage "Maison Valentin" (300 m from our home) is ours only since June 2020, the months after which we have renovated, furnished and spruced up the family home. From autumn 2020 we have done a lot in the garden: cleared, cut, weeded, replanted and some more. The roof and facade have also been cleaned. In the summer of 2021, we rented the house for the first time. In the process, we met nice people. Without exception, all were delighted with the house and the garden. The furnishings were praised throughout. For 2022 we hope that again nice guests will find their way to us. We are looking forward to 2022 to meet people again. Hopefully Covid 19 will not put a spanner in the works for us and our guests. We welcome our guests ourselves. Because of our proximity, we are almost always available for help. For garden and pool maintenance we will arrange a suitable time with you. In addition, you will enjoy your vacation without disturbance. The house should be as clean as you found it when you leave. If desired, we take over the final cleaning according to expenditure.
