Very nice holiday home

Very quiet and sunny location, bright rooms, tastefully furnished and maintained, beautiful terrace.
We were fully satisfied - only the bicycles are, except for one, not very rideable.

A truly calm and relaxing vacation in a natural environment

We are enthusiastic Sweden and Norway vacationers and were on Gotland for the first time. We were made aware of the houses through a recommendation. Booking the cabin was uncomplicated and we were also accommodated on the day of arrival and departure. Ljugarn and the accommodation are very easy to reach from Visby and the description we received made it very easy for us to find our holiday home. On the way there, you pass several supermarkets in Visby that were open on Saturdays and Sundays. There is also a larger shop in Ljugarn itself. The apartment is very clean and in an unspoiled condition and is equipped to a very high standard, everything you can imagine was really there. Radio, TV, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob and oven, washing machine, and much more. Dishwashing, cleaning, and washing agents were available, the kitchen equipment was almost like at home. The buildings are located directly on the edge of the forest and are surrounded by nature all around. You can listen to the chirping of birds, rabbits, hedgehogs, and foxes were also guests in the garden. The large terrace with plenty of seating and a large parasol invites you to have breakfast in the morning in wonderful peace, there are plenty of places to eat in the area and they can be reached on foot or quickly by car. In a few minutes, you can also walk through a beautiful forest to the beach. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and we can recommend the holiday homes with a clear conscience. Our next Gotland vacation is already planned and we definitely want to stay in one of these holiday homes again.

Well-equipped holiday home, which is well suited for a longer stay. We felt very comfortable in it. The house is very spacious and you can sleep well in the comfortable beds.

Dreamlike vacation home in a top location

This house was our home for two weeks, which we reluctantly left :-)
Great location in central Gotland, all the great sights in the south (Hoburgen), north (Bunge Museum), and west (capital Visby) are easily accessible. Bicycles are available for the village itself (great!).
The house is fully equipped (vacuum cleaner, ironing board, grill, toaster, corkscrew, etc.) and very clean. Maybe that's because no company takes care of the final cleaning, but the tenant does it himself. And you clean it as if it were your own home.
The landlord is very accommodating in communication and relaxed at the same time - very pleasant!
We will gladly come back.

Highly recommendable...

Clean, new holiday home in Ljugarn. The house is so well-equipped that you can feel right at home. Bikes, washing machine, etc. can all be used. The location is quiet, and the sea is a short walk away.

It should be noted that Ljugarn itself is located in the south of the island, so you will have to drive quite a bit to reach most attractions. It would be great if a basic cleaning service could be offered (for a fee, of course), so that guests don't have to clean up at the end (e.g., challenging if you arrived with two small children and the ferry leaves at 7:30 a.m.).

Otherwise highly recommended, would love to come back!

Beautiful house with excellent location

This summer, we had the pleasure of spending two wonderful weeks in the main and guest houses with 7 people. Both houses are tastefully furnished and very well-equipped. The location itself is centrally located in Gotland and is the ideal starting point for trips into the beautiful nature. The nearby beach is not crowded even in the high season. We can highly recommend this house and its friendly landlord.

Relaxing vacation

The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired except for a dishwasher, the location of the house is very quiet, pure relaxation. Also, the beach, which can be reached in a 10-minute walk, is one of the most beautiful on the whole island.

Living with comfort

Through our many vacations in Denmark and Sweden, we are used to a lot. We were all the more positively surprised by the cleanliness and living comfort. Everything is there, the bicycles are easy to ride, and the tranquility is very bearable. A truly cozy holiday home where you feel welcome and child-friendly on top of that. Great holidays in a great house

We stayed in the house with our two small children (1 and 4 years old) and were very satisfied! It is very well maintained and well equipped. The only point deducted for the equipment is because a dishwasher for time and water saving would be nice. Otherwise, nothing is lacking! The location of the house is also very good, as you can easily reach both the north and south of the island from Ljugarn. The contact with the landlords was very nice!

Restful holiday

We had a relaxing vacation in a very well-equipped holiday home. It had everything we needed. Ljugarn is a beautiful seaside resort and the house is quietly located at the edge of the forest. The provided bicycles were very useful for short trips. Ljugarn is also a good starting point for exploring the island of Gotland.
We would love to come back on our next visit to Gotland!

Super tolle Erholung

The island of Gotland is very cozy, everything is easily accessible by car. Also very suitable for hiking tours.
Here you can relax and forget about everyday life. Let the wind blow around your nose and take long walks.

free time activities: Der Strand zum Baden ist ca. 20 Min von der Unterkunft entfernt. Wandermöglichkeiten sind direkt vom Haus aus zu finden. Touren mit dem Fahrrad sind auch möglich.

shopping facilities: Gleich im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. In Visby 50 Min entfernt vom Ort gibt es zwei sehr große Supermärkte.

Pure relaxation in a superbly equipped holiday home

We have been searching for a beautiful and modern vacation home for a long time and finally found it here. The facilities are first class and at a very fair price. The quiet location on the edge of the forest, like the whole island, contributes to absolute relaxation. In addition, there is the pleasant German landlord. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Great holiday home on Gotland

Very nice bright holiday home. All rooms are bright and very personally and friendly furnished. Here, the holiday is fun. Quietly located at the edge of the forest and everything important can be reached on foot! The price-performance ratio for Gotland is unbeatable. The house must be recommended!

Everything really fits there!!!

We stayed in the main house as a couple and felt very comfortable for almost 4 weeks. Everything we needed was available, and the key handover and change of linens were well organized. The house is located quietly in a cul-de-sac, so the loudest noises came from the birds. That's how we like it! In addition to the rabbits, which are abundant on Gotland, we often watched a black woodpecker working on the property. A fox also passed by twice. Thank you very much for everything - including the friendly contact - we will gladly come back! ! !

free time activities: viele Naturreservate in der Nähe, u.a. liegt das Raukgebiet Folhammer nur 3 Km entfernt - mit dem Auto kann man jeden Ort Gotlands problemlos während eines Tagesausflugs besuchen

The guesthouse: almost like your own holiday home

The guest house has a really steep staircase that is more like a ladder. The children really liked this access to their sleeping loft. However, it's actually hard to fall down - you automatically take more care. The guest house can be easily used without the main house, if you are willing to have your meals on the low side table next to the sofa. Bathroom (lots of space!), kitchenette, etc. - just as complete as the main house --> GREAT for 2 (adult) persons! The distance to the main house is ideal: "Can you quickly check on the kids?" - "Mom, I can't sleep because today was so exciting. . . " Without shoes or in socks even in the dark (good terrace lighting in both houses!), not a problem - but also far enough if you want to stay unnoticed from each other.

SUPER Ferienhaus

We stayed with 2 families (2 adults + 2 children and 2 adults + 1 child) using the main house and guest house: It was the ideal starting point to explore the island. Only thing missing - but not really - was the dishwasher, much to the children's dismay ;-). You can tell that the owner often visits the island himself in the main house: There is really NOTHING missing - we could have moved in permanently right away and felt immediately "at home." The vacation started right after the exhausting journey!

Perfekte Familienferien

Very cozy and nicely furnished house in a quiet location at the edge of the forest. Beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bike. For a 3-week stay, it was great to have a washing machine, but we missed having a dishwasher. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine, and we would gladly come back. But next time, I would like to be able to watch Swedish TV!

shopping facilities: Supermarkt (auch Sa und So bis 21:00 Uhr) zu Fuß oder per Rad zu erreichen, ebenso die kleine Konditorei. Pizerria und weitere Restaurants im Ort. Man bekommt alle Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf im Ort. Fischgeschäft und -Räucherei in Sysne, ca. 15 Min. mit dem Auto.

Gästehaus

The cottage is new, nicely furnished with a large terrace and located at the edge of the forest. Ideal for 2 people who can crawl up to the sleeping loft. The beach, supermarket, bakery, and restaurants are quickly accessible by bike or on foot. Ljugarn is a very nice place - more like a garden settlement.

A holiday home to feel good in. Everything you need is there (okay, maybe a dishwasher would be the cherry on top). The surroundings are simply fantastic. Even in the off-season, it is good (perhaps even better) to endure. Empty beaches, but still warming sun rays. Happy to come back!

free time activities: Ausgiebige Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Farö, ein muss, Visby und Umgebung auch.

shopping facilities: Man bekommt alles was man braucht, und man muss gar nicht das Auto bewegen.

Bright, friendly house in a quiet location.

With two adults, we felt very comfortable in the new house. The landlord was very friendly and accommodating and correct in all matters. Our review received deductions in equipment because we personally missed a toaster and a dishwasher, in service because we would have liked to pay for a final cleaning. This is upon departure if necessary. Very annoying because you are tied to the usually very early departure times of the ferries, but you really want to hand over the house clean. Nevertheless, we will gladly come back!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Am Orts-/Waldrand ruhig gelegen, ca. 5 Min. zum Strand. Ältester und größter Badeort Gotlands etwa in der Inselmitte, so dass alle Ziele mit dem Auto von Farö im Norden bis Hoburgen im Süden auf Tagesausflügen gut zu erreichen sind.

shopping facilities: Supermarkt im Ort, sowie diverse gastronomische Angebote - allerdings oft nur in der Sommersaison von Juli bis August.

Cozy holiday home in an idyllic seaside resort.

Modern, cozy holiday home in Scandinavian style. Child-friendly house with a large terrace located directly next to a forest. We stayed here with three older boys and felt very comfortable. After a short walk through the blueberry-covered forest, you reach the sea with a natural beach and many fossils.

Can we move in all year round, please?

We had the honor of being the first tenants of the holiday cottage. Therefore, our assessment regarding the cleanliness and overall external impression is certainly understandable. Cleanliness always depends on how clean the previous tenants left the property and not necessarily on the landlord. The landlord family is super nice. We drove by a few days before taking over the house for the key handover and got everything explained in detail. The house is very tastefully newly furnished (not like some Swedish rental properties with the junk from the 60s that grandma had), with the latest technical equipment and everything else you need. When we arrived, Gotland guides, maps, and current information about Gotland were also available to us, which helped us a lot in exploring the island. The house also has important amenities such as ample parking space, a washing machine, a grill, and lovely outdoor seating areas. We wholeheartedly recommend the holiday home! The price is certainly justified, but we only give it a rating of 90% for value for money, as €100 per day in high season always seems like a lot psychologically ;)

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus liegt wunderschön am Waldrand. Perfekt für Jogger oder Menschen die gerne spazieren gehen. Im Ort Ljugarn gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt, einen tollen Strand, Minigolf, wunderschöne Felsformationen und viele Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen.

free time activities: Die Minigolfanlage ist prima, der Strand top und der Wald und die Strandpromenade zum Joggen super.

shopping facilities: Im Ort Ljugarn gibt es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und nette Nippes-Geschäfte.
