Description
Our house with 3 bedrooms offers space for 1-8 people (plus 2 children up to 3 years old in separate, existing children's beds) and is located on a fenced property. Dogs are warmly welcome; please bring your own beds for them (1 dog couch available) as dogs are unfortunately not allowed on seating furniture without cover + not in beds. It is about 750 m to the beach with a seasonal beach chair in the 1st row. A private parking space is available. The large terrace invites you to enjoy sunny days and barbecue evenings with garden furniture, sun umbrella, kettle grill, cozy beach chair, and dog beach chair. From 2022-2026, the house has been regularly renovated for you.
In the fenced garden, there are children's play equipment, handcart, balance bikes, Bobbycar, etc.
Our modern furnished living room is flooded with light through its 2 patio doors. A U-shaped sofa + electric fireplace offers you space to sit together comfortably. The TV with satellite connection, DVD player, and mini stereo system let you relax even more.
Board games, puzzles, and books are available. Free Wi-Fi is also included, making home office possible.
The kitchen contains high-quality equipment with convection oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. Small appliances available to you: 2 coffee machines, egg cooker, kettle, mixer, air fryer, and toaster. Plenty of dishes + cutlery as well as some coffee, tea, oil, salt, pepper + a rich spice bar are provided. Of course, all important kitchen utensils as well as plenty of pots that you need for everyday use are available.
The open living and dining room is separated from the kitchen by a glass door. There is a wooden table with 8 chairs + 2 high chairs.
In a small storage room, we provide you with a vacuum cleaner, cleaning utensils, safe, etc.
On the ground floor is the 1st bathroom (new in 2024) with shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The new 2nd bathroom (2023) with shower, toilet, and 2 washbasins is on the first floor. It is more spacious, so you will also find a washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, changing mat, ironing board, and iron here.
The 1st bedroom with 1 double bed (63 cm high), 1 sliding door wardrobe, 1 TV, 1 armchair, and 1 children's bed is on the first floor. Since 2022, there is also a 2-person infrared sauna here to warm up after beautiful beach walks or simply to relax.
Right next door is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 double bed, 1 recliner, and a 2-door wardrobe + 1 TV.
The 3rd bedroom is in the attic. In the very spacious room, in addition to 1 double bed, 1 children's bed, and 1 wardrobe, there is also a seating area with a TV to retreat a little or just to read.
The entire house has washable floors, partly high-quality travertine. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace.
For your safety, there are a total of 5 smoke detectors + stair gates in the house.
The house can also be booked, if available, for business stays a bit longer, e.g. for fitters or home office, etc. It is equipped for year-round rental. Even in winter, it is simply wonderfully beautiful and relaxing at the North Sea.
The house can be booked with 1-8 adults + (2 toddlers up to 3 years in separate toddler beds), so also by families with several children. The price includes Wi-Fi, parking space, washing machine, dryer, sauna use. Charging electric cars via the house electricity is not allowed; there are charging stations about 150 m away in town for this.
Bed linen + towel package €28.00 per person, bookable additionally!!! For all sleeping options, we provide duvets 155x220, so all guests can sleep comfortably. Of course, bed linen + towels can also be brought along. Sauna + beach towels must be brought.
!!! => For bookings of 14 days or longer, we give you the final cleaning for free.
Many wall pictures in this house were lovingly painted by family members from 3 generations of our family.
We adhere to the extended, more elaborate cleaning protocol based on expert recommendations. Here are some points: Each room is cleaned before your arrival according to a set checklist. We also provide you with cleaning products so that you have the opportunity to clean during your stay. The cleanliness of our accommodation is our top priority. You should feel comfortable and safe with us.

Location and surroundings of object
750 m from the beach, with a free seasonal beach chair in the 1st row (1.5.–25.9.), which we have rented for our guests. Enjoy the view of the sea and mudflats and relax. The swimming paradise Center Parcs Nordseeküste with activities (for a fee) and gastronomy is a 2-minute walk from the house. Further plentiful and very good gastronomy as well as bakeries or shopping opportunities are about 0.5–1 km away. And not far from Bremerhaven (e.g. Tuscan shopping arcade, Climate House, Emigration House, and Zoo at the Sea) and Wilhelmshaven. In Loxstedt, 30 minutes away, there is the Karls Adventure Park and also just 30 minutes away the Jader Leisure and Animal Park. On the Butjadingen peninsula you will find a llama ranch (farm tours + llama hikes), the North Sea lagoon, a children's play hall, Friesengolf, and directly at our Friesenstrand the 1st baby beach in Germany, a pirate playground, but also water sports are possible here. For anglers, the Pütten angler lake is within walking distance, directly in Tossens. Kilometers of walks on and beside the dike or wonderful mudflat hikes complete this great location. The Langwarder Groden nature reserve was named a natural wonder in 2024 and is also only a few minutes away by car or within walking distance. There are also great excursion destinations within a 1–1.5 hour drive.

Cancellation terms:

Here is the translation to English: You will receive half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee as a refund if you cancel the booking at least 56 days before the planned check-in by 12 noon CET (Central European Time). Our holiday home, Möwennest 18, has beds for 1-8 people + 2 separate, available cribs for 2 small children up to 3 years old. These are not included in the total number of people. From 3 years old, children require a regular bed and are then counted as an adult.
Only energy-saving light bulbs are used in the house.
From March 2026, a small solar system on the roof will also provide electricity from solar energy and thus reduce electricity costs to a minimum.
Non-smoking house (smoking is only allowed on the terrace)
* Final cleaning: €140 (for bookings of 14 days or more, we will cover the final cleaning for you)
* For pets, a one-time flat fee (additional cleaning effort) of €30 per stay applies.
* Security deposit: €250 for damages in or to the house. (This will of course be refunded immediately after your holiday if there have been no damages in the house.) Electricity, water, and gas heating will also be deducted from the deposit according to consumption (meter reading), and the difference will be refunded.
Our Möwennest 18 does not have high consumption due to good insulation, but since it makes a difference whether 1-2 or 8-10 people are in the house, consumption can only be fairly calculated by meter reading.
* If damages occur that exceed the deposit, the difference must be charged to the tenant who caused the damage. This is in the interest of all guests who wish to find the house in perfect condition. We thank you for your understanding.
The local tourist tax must be paid directly to us before arrival.
For coffee machines, 1 filter coffee machine and 1 Senseo coffee machine are available to you.
The use of the children's playhouse, children's swing, ship sandbox, handcart, Bobbycar, balance bikes, kettle grill, beach chair, dog beach chair, and infrared sauna is at your own risk and responsibility.
Arrivals directly on public holidays are unfortunately not possible on site for organizational reasons. On regular Sundays, however, it is possible.

North Sea Romance
We had a wonderful two-week family vacation at the holiday home Möwennest in Tossens! The house is lovingly furnished, clean, and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed the cozy, quiet atmosphere and the well-equipped kitchen. The location is perfect – just a few minutes from the beach, so we could enjoy the fresh sea air in the beach chair belonging to the house, in the front row, every day. The surroundings also offer many beautiful excursion opportunities that were exciting for the whole family. The contact with the manager was friendly and uncomplicated. We will definitely come back and can warmly recommend the Möwennest to any family vacation! Many thanks to the Lach family for renting out their beautiful holiday home.

Exceptionally good holiday home
The house Möwennest 18 is characterized by a very appealing decor, both in the living areas and the kitchen. The stairways are child-safe, and there are plenty of play items available. The green area in front of the house is spacious, and the path to the sea is not far. Playgrounds are nearby, as well as shopping opportunities.

I have read some other reviews afterwards that we find incomprehensible.
The holiday home was rented to us in pristine condition, there is absolutely nothing to complain about.
The owners have furnished the house with a lot of love and it is not a junk room. The garden is spacious and well-maintained.
Anyone who has something to complain about here is one of those people who are always looking for something.
In conclusion once again:
A very clear recommendation - you will feel comfortable.

Vacation in Tossens
Great exchange with the Lach family.
Lovely renovated and furnished house. Amenities above the standard in holiday homes. Close to the dyke, can be reached on foot. Quiet location. Various local establishments and a bakery within walking distance. Larger supermarket less than 5 minutes by car.
Even during the holiday season, there are plenty of recreational options in the nearby area.
We really enjoyed it.
We will come back.

Wonderful family short vacation with dog
We were with the whole family in Möwennest 18, grandparents, children, and grandchildren with a dog, and it was just simply wonderful all around! There was really EVERYTHING in the house that you need, nothing was missing! The location is just great, and to all dog owners, we can only say, "Dogs are really welcome everywhere, we had only positive moments there!" The Lach family is super nice and always reachable, as is Mr. Völlers :)

Ich muss jetzt unsere Bewertung noch ein wenig ergänzen:
Ich habe im Nachhinein noch einige andere Bewertungen gelesen, die auf Unverständnis bei uns stoßen.
Das Ferienhaus ist pikobello an uns vermietet worden, da gibt es nichts aber auch gar nichts zu beanstanden.
Die Besitzer haben das Haus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es ist keine Rummelbude.
Der Garten ist großzügig und gepflegt.
Wer hier etwas zu beanstanden hat, der ist einer von der Sorte Mensch, die immer etwas suchen.
Abschließend noch einmal:
Ganz klare Empfehlung- Sie werden sich wohlfühlen.
Liebevolles renoviertes und eingerichtetes Haus. Ausstattung über normalen Standart in Ferienhäusern. In Deich Nähe kann zu Fuß erreicht werden. Ruhige Lage. Verschiedene Lokalitäten und ein Bäcker vor Ort die zu Fuß erreicht werden können. Größerer Supermarkt mit dem Auto keine 5 Minuten Fahrzeit.
Auch zwischen den Jahren genügende Angebote zur Freizeitgestaltung in Näherer Umgebung.
Uns hat es gut gefallen.

Es hat uns dort an nichts gefehlt. Die Küche war mehr als gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine / Trockner waren super gerade mit Kindern um mal flott nach einem nassen Tag alles sauber und trocken zu bekommen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich.
Es fehlte uns an nichts. Von Geselschaftsspielen, einen tollem Garten ( Wurfspiel ect im Schuppen ) , Infomaterialien für Ausflüge / Tips, Bollerwagen für den Strandspaziergang , Strandkorb im Garten und am Deich, Infrarotsauner ( die wir aber nicht genutzt haben ), mehrere Fernseher im Haus für schlechte Wettertage bis hin zu Wlan was super funktioniert hat ....
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter sowie zu Verwalter waren immer sehr nett. Man hatte auf fragen immer schnell eine Antwort erhalten. Der Verwalter war immer Telefonisch erreichbar und auch sehr nett.
Das haus liegt super zentral , Deich / Centerpark / Restaurants/ Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind alle fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Wir bedanken uns auch hier nocheinmal für diesen gelungenen tollen Urlaub und können jetzt bereits mit Sicherheit sagen wir werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen.
Der Kontakt mit Vermietern und Verwalter war außerdem immer freundlich und hat prima geklappt.
Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft deshalb gerne weiter.
Die Infrarot Sauna ist herrlich zum entspannen und der schöne Garten mit Strandkorb lädt zum relaxen im Garten ein.Wir haben alles genoßen.
Das Haus liegt Zentral zum Center Park und kurze Wege zu den Restaurants.
Die Sauberkeit im Haus ist TOP
Der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter ist SUPER -- Wir empfehlen das Haus zu 100% weiter.
Der Kontakt mit der Familie war immer sehr nett, hilfsbereit und schnell.
Das Hauseist perfekt für Familien mit Kindern und auch der 4-Beiner kommt auf seine kosten.
Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt.
Man ist schnell im CenterPark und kann dort alle Aktivitäten buchen und zu fast normalen Preisen Essen gehen. Es gibt auch sehr gute Restaurants in der Umgebung, sogar mit Lieferservice. An der Nordsee ist man auch in 10 min. hingelaufen.
Vielen lieben dank für die wunderbare Zeit in ihrem Ferienhaus.
Gerne würden wir in Zukunft bei Ihnen wieder unterkommen, denn das liebevolle und stilvolle Haus hat uns sehr zugesagt.

Es waren2 schöne Tage in dieser hübschen Unterkunft..alles hatte seinen Platz, was benötigt wurde war vorhanden.....Die Sauberkeit in diesem Haus war TOP--- sehr zu empfehlen.
Freuen uns jetzt schon auf den Mai in diesem tollen Haus was ja dann auch einen Strandkorb und eine Sauna besitzt.
Ich kann dieses Möwennest wirklich empfehlen..der Kontakt mit den Vermietern ist toll.
Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, es waren ein paar schöne Tage dort..und sicher nicht die letzten, die wir dort verbracht haben..
