Description
On the ground floor you will find the living and dining room, open kitchen and shower and toilet area. The sitting area consists of a double sofa and two separate armchairs. The smart TV has over 65 TV channels and several radio stations. Also streaming services such as Netflix are supported. There is free Wi-Fi in the house
The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and 4-burner stove. A toaster, kettle and coffee maker are also provided. The bathroom is spacious and has a sink, toilet and shower cubicle with thermostat. Towels can optionally be booked. Kitchen towels are available
The two bedrooms are upstairs. There you come via a STEILE staircase. One bedroom has a double bed, the other bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe. The beds will be made for you.
The house has its own entrance and a private terrace with picnic table. You can get the key from the key safe, so you can decide what time you check in (after 15:00)
It is not allowed to smoke inside and pets are not allowed. A cot and high chair are available on request for free. There is a stair gate.
In the high and mid season check in and check out is only on Saturday. In low season also on other days.

Location and surroundings of object
Guests often indicate that the location is a plus of the Juttershuis. The Juttershuis is not directly on the street, but behind my house. It is therefore quietly situated. The private terrace of 't Juttershuis is fully fenced and the gate can be locked. Useful if you bring bikes or rent. Through the wide alley next to my house you come to the Juttershuis
If you go out the gate and walk on the left side, you are within 2 minutes in the shopping street and within 7 minutes on the beach. The Noord-Hollands Dune Reserve is 5 minutes walk. Dune maps are required there, they are present in the cottage
From April to November is in the whole village paid parking. There is a parking permit for 1 car available with which you can park for free.
Attractions in the village include the Egmond Museum, the lighthouse and the bunker museum. From June to August there is a fair in the centre on Wednesdays (±17:00-22:00). In the summer, there are performances by various bands every Sunday evening at the pump square.
Egmond is situated close to Alkmaar, a town which is certainly worth visiting for a day. The old town has a lot of culture and history, such as the famous cheese market. It is also fun to rent a boat. Alkmaar is about 10 minutes away by car.

My name is Frank. In 2020 I moved from Oostzaan to Egmond aan Zee. My house is more than 120 years old and it used to be the police station of Egmond. The holiday cottage behind the house has also been there for a long time. It was built at least 80 years ago by the residents of the time to earn some extra money. In 2020 I renovated and modernised the cottage. 't Juttershuis is now fully equipped with central heating, TV, internet and a kitchen with dishwasher.
