MarinaPark Bad Nederrijn is a park in transition from camping to cottages. Fortunately, we were at the park over the Easter weekend and there were no construction activities at that time. The choice of black sanitary ware and very fluffy white towels is not a very happy one. The decor and atmosphere in the house is very nice and the view over the Lower Rhine is phenomenal!

I don't even know where to start. The houses are only superficially clean; when you look closer, it's very dirty. Flies and spiders everywhere. The house heats up to 50 degrees in what feels like 10 minutes - an air conditioner costs 18€ a day. Loungers, as seen in the picture, also cost an extra 10€ per day. Everything sounds a bit strange... Then you can hardly lie outside because other people lie down everywhere and you have no privacy at all... and then the very high price in the end... unfortunately, I cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone and would never vacation here again.

No major deficiency, but also no positive impression. ⸻ Außenausstattung • Negative: No lounge furniture on the terrace available, contrary to what was partially expected or portrayed. ⸻ Insect protection • Note: Only two windows with insect protection – in a location directly by the water, this is unfortunately not sufficient. The accommodation has potential, but lacks investment in comfort (especially mattresses) and attention to detail (e.g. kitchen utensils, grill, lounge furniture). The check-in was very slow, although arrival from 3 p.m. possible. Arrived at 5:00 p.m. we had to wait about 30 minutes for our key and the barrier card (no other guests in front of us). Unfortunately the staff only spoke Dutch (or didn't want to speak German or English). The bungalow was about as described, but the location was not. In the middle of the bungalow park without any privacy, located at a cesspool of a small harbor instead of on the Lower Rhine. The stench was unbearable! When we asked if another bungalow was available, we were turned away. At a weekly rate of €1,800, I think you can and should expect a little more service. We didn't even move into the bungalow and left the same evening. An e-mail has not been answered to this day, at least the final cleaning could have been reimbursed. It's a shame that the pictures on the internet deviate so much from reality. For me, it borders on willful deception!!!!

The cottage had everything needed, it was clean with bed linen and towels. The cottage is not very spacious, and is a bit like a container. As a result, it was very hot inside at certain times. You pay an additional €17.00 per day for the mobile air conditioning unit (this has a pipe going outside). You cannot use this when you are away. Sun loungers are also to be paid for, €10.00 per day. Fortunately, you do get two of them. The seating area in the photo, you can imagine that it’s not there. Fortunately, there is a table with 4 chairs and a parasol. The brochure states that from 11 PM, it is expected that no noise disturbance will be caused and one can enjoy in peace. On weekends, the brasserie has ambiance with a lot of music. No problem, but this lasted until at least after midnight. The lake can only be used for swimming in limited areas between the other houses. The indoor storage is not large; you cannot store bicycles in it.

Therefore, our rating is rather mediocre to good. ⸻ Location & Surroundings • Positive: Great location right by the water, quiet atmosphere, beautiful view from the terrace. • Neutral: With doors open, one should expect insects (spiders, flies, mosquitoes) – especially without continuous insect protection. ⸻ Sleep comfort (beds & bedrooms) • Negative: The mattresses are in very poor condition – uncomfortable and sagging. This has already been criticized multiple times in other reviews, without any apparent remedy being provided. • Neutral: Bedrooms are very compact – little space and only limited storage areas for clothing. Functional, but not comfortable. ⸻ Kitchen & Equipment • Neutral: The kitchen is overall adequately equipped. Plates and dishes are simple (plain white) and not as shown in the photos. • Negative: Some kitchen utensils are already noticeably worn. • Note: No grill available – electric or gas grill would theoretically be possible. ⸻ Living/Dining Area • Positive: The furniture in the living room and dining area is modern and in good to very good condition – one feels comfortable here. ⸻ Bad & Toilette • Neutral: The bathroom is okay, serves its purpose. • Negative: The toilet is too small for taller people and therefore somewhat uncomfortable. ⸻ Sauberkeit • Neutral to Negative: The cleanliness is rather average. No major flaw, but also no positive impression. ⸻ Außenausstattung • Negative: No lounge furniture on the terrace available, unlike partially expected or presented. ⸻ Insect protection • Note: Only two windows with insect protection – unfortunately, this is not sufficient for a location directly by the water. Open doors quickly lead to insects in the house. ⸻ Overall rating (subjective) 3 out of 5 stars – with room for improvement. The accommodation has potential, but lacks investment in comfort (especially mattresses) and attention to detail (e.g. kitchen utensils, grill, lounge furniture). Those who can live with these limitations can still have a great time – especially thanks to the wonderful location.

Overall a good experience, The house was clean and had a modern look, It is a bit remote, which we liked, but make sure to plan your groceries in advance, as the nearest shop is quite a drive away.

What a beautiful place to relax! The views of the Lower Rhine from our terrace were simply breathtaking. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

A fantastic stay! The house was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. The owner was friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The surrounding nature offered beautiful hiking trails.

We were lucky enough to get a bungalow on the edge of the property with a direct view of the branch of the Lower Rhine, The terrace was wonderful and faced west so that when the weather permitted we could enjoy a breathtaking sunset, It was very peaceful overall, The key handover was straightforward, The complex is right on the dam with a cycle path, an excellent place for cycling tours, The beautiful cities such as Utrecht and Amersfoort are not far away and easy to reach by car,

The holiday home and the furnishings were as described and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the park was a construction site when we arrived and the only access to our house was blocked by a crane or excavator. Marina Park Management and Belvilla should have let us know before the trip. Unfortunately, we had to leave after 2 nights because we didn't want to spend a holiday on a construction site.

MarinaPark Bad Nederrijn is a park in transition from camping to cottages. Fortunately, we were at the park over the Easter weekend and there were no construction activities at that time. The choice of black sanitary ware and very fluffy white towels is not a very happy one. The decor and atmosphere in the house is very nice and the view over the Lower Rhine is phenomenal!

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. We rented a boat and I made a mistake by renting it at the wrong park. The ladies at the reception wrote an email and made phone calls so that the booking could be changed and we were able to spend a wonderful day on the water.

The check-in was very slow, although arrival from 3 p.m. possible. Arrived at 5:00 p.m. we had to wait about 30 minutes for our key and the barrier card (no other guests in front of us). Unfortunately the staff only spoke Dutch (or didn't want to speak German or English). The bungalow was about as described, but the location was not. In the middle of the bungalow park without any privacy, located at a cesspool of a small harbor instead of on the Lower Rhine. The stench was unbearable! When we asked if another bungalow was available, we were turned away. At a weekly rate of €1,800, I think you can and should expect a little more service. We didn't even move into the bungalow and left the same evening. An e-mail has not been answered to this day, at least the final cleaning could have been reimbursed. It's a shame that the pictures on the internet deviate so much from reality. For me, it borders on willful deception!!!!
