What a lovely little retreat! The modern design of the chalet made us feel at home right away. We especially loved the open kitchen and living room. After a day of hiking in the nearby Veluwezoom National Park, the comfortable beds were a welcome relief.

The cottage did not meet our expectations. We had counted on it being by the water, but it was a different location with a shared garden and barbecue with eleven other cottages. We were looking for peace, but that was not there. We are used to questions being answered personally by the host, but Diane did not respond to all our questions and said we had to call EuroParcs ourselves. In the end, I called myself for bedding (I was twelfth in line) and had to pay, while the advertisement stated that this was included. The girl from EuroParcs also said that the reception closed at 4 PM and that she could arrange a later check-in for us. Diane insisted that we could check in until 6 PM. The cottage had a number of defects, really a shame, we had imagined it differently.

Although the surroundings were quiet, it was also a bit remote, which may not be ideal for everyone. We appreciated the terrace outside, but we did not use the communal pool due to the weather.
