Groote Keeten is located about 3km north of Callantsoog and the surrounding area is ideal for hiking and cycling trips. The path to the wide and 40km long sandy beach is asphalted and therefore easy to reach by bicycle, baby carriage or handcart. Dogs are also welcome on the beach. Groote Keeten has several restaurants, a beach pavilion, tennis courts and a riding stable.
