This detached holiday home is located in Mitterauerbach, a small community near Neunburg vorm Wald in the Upper Palatinate lake landscape. Lovers of fine architecture and tasteful furnishings will find a little gem here. This place is suitable for a couple or a small family. There is a spacious terrace where you can linger with your morning coffee and a private garden with furniture where you can enjoy a wholesome breakfast and unwind after an active day outdoors. The house is equipped with heating facility to keep you warm during winters.
The location in the heart of the Upper Palatinate Forest invites you to explore the untouched nature on foot or by bike. The famous Goldsteig long-distance hiking trail leads directly through Neunburg vom Wald. Visit the nearby lakes and plunge into wet fun: swimming, water skiing, sailing, surfing and diving, everything is possible here. The viewing platform of the world's largest accessible wooden sphere at Lake Steinberger See offers a fantastic overview of the landscape. You can play golf at a golf club only 4 km away for some adrenaline rush and water babies can indulge in watersports only a short drive away from the stay. In case you want to take a few refreshing dives, you will find a public swimming pool only 10 km from your stay. You can try out cross country skiing only 22 km from your stay.
The holiday home is on the ground floor and the 1st floor. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. Beautiful house, stylish interior, very clean, lots of space. Special features are an Italian wood stove in the kitchen and an antique tiled stove in the dining room. Great bathroom with technical refinements. Quiet place, long walks and listed buildings all around. We slept very well! Culinary offers in the area (very good: Schiesl in Altendorf, good Bavarian roasts) and Neunburg (modern: restaurant dining room). Nearby free parking. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Stable WiFi, satellite TV. We loved it and will be back!

We spent a week at the beginning of November in the former sacristan's house. It was a dream: the entire house was thought out down to the smallest detail. Everything really fit. The interior design is very tasteful and stylish and yet very comfortable. You can feel that this house has been lovingly renovated and furnished. It is also clear that a lot of passion was put into this.
Mitterauerbach itself is a beautiful little place that is very suitable for hikes directly from the holiday home. The landscape of the Upper Palatinate Forest is still intact here. For us this place was a real paradise: we will come back!

A beautiful and very clean house with all the trimmings.
If you like peace and quiet it's fine, it's in a hamlet in Germany. It is right next to the church, which did not bother us much, the bells do not strike loudly.
You have to like the countryside otherwise it's a boring location.
