New cosy holiday home in the beautiful Wedemark, north of Hanover in a tiny village at the foot of the Brelinger Berg, in an absolutely idyllic quiet location. Perfect for those seeking relaxation, couples, families, people with and without animals (dogs, cats, horse). The house opened in 2021, is modern and homely furnished. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a 1.80 x 2.00 bed (can also be placed separately) and one with a bunk bed (1.80 x 0.80 ! ). The cosy kitchen-cum-living-room has a kitchenette with a 2-plate induction cooker, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, crockery and cutlery for 4 people, and kitchen utensils for every need. The spacious daylight shower room has underfloor heating, as does the entire house. From the bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows you step onto the covered wooden terrace with a view of the forest, the small garden is completely fenced in at 1.50 m. There is a table with a large parasol and garden furniture. A table with a large parasol and garden furniture invite you to relax.
The living area has a comfortable sofa and an extendable dining table. In bad weather, you can relax perfectly on the Smart TV or Amazon Fire Stick. Free Wi-Fi is of course available.

A parking space is available for you directly in front of the holiday home.
There are many wonderful activities nearby, such as the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, the Dinopark in Münchehagen, various thermal baths and swimming pools, but also idyllic bathing lakes.
The rural location in a farming environment promises absolute peace and relaxation. Great walks can be started directly from the holiday home, bicycles can find their place right next to the holiday home.
You will find a variety of shopping opportunities in the surrounding villages to suit all tastes.

The holiday home is in a very rural location in the small, rural village of Rodenbostel in the municipality of Wedemark. Wedemark consists of 17 municipal districts and is located in the north of Hanover in the triangle formed by Lüneburg Heath, the Harz Mountains and the Steinhuder Meer. Rodenbostel has just under 80 inhabitants and is situated at the foot of the Brelinger Berg in a quiet, idyllic location.

Holiday Home Sparrow's Nest

Neglected holiday home, flower pots partly dried out and everything quite dirty. Towels and beds smell as if they haven't been washed in a long time. Spiders and cobwebs on the windows and in the house. There was no proper sink and no dish towels. The weekly price is far too high for the poor services.

Ich habe lange nachgedacht, ob wir dazu etwas schreiben denn eigentlich sagt man landläufig "wer sich verteidigt, klagt sich an".
Allerdings ist diese Bewertung eine solche Frechheit, deren Ursache vermutlich an ganz anderer Stelle entspringt.
Diese zwei äußerst redseligen Damen waren nicht in der Lage, innerhalb 1 Woche, in der wir uns mehrfach trafen und ich jedesmal Mühe hatte, den Gesprächsfluss freundlich zu beenden, da ich leider nicht so viel Zeit hatte, nach Geschirrtüchern zu fragen, die ich zum ersten Mal in all der Zeit tatsächlich vergessen hatte bereitzustellen.
Das ist schon verwunderlich.
Wir nutzen, wie in unserer Infomappe beschrieben, ausschließlich Frosch Produkte für unsere Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Geruchsrichtung Zitrone.
Das ist sehr dezent und sicherlich Geschmackssache aber frisch ist unsere Wäsche natürlich immer, sie wird nach jedem Gast mit 90 Grad gewaschen.
Da wir nahezu im Wald wohnen, kann man selbstverständlich nicht alle Kleinstlebewesen davon abhalten, auch mal zu versuchen, ins Haus zu gelangen, das kann unangenehm sein, das verstehen wir, ist allerdings auf dem Land leider nicht zu verhindern.
Unsere entzückende und sehr große Keramikspüle mit ausziehbarem Wasserhahn ist auf unseren Bildern deutlich zu sehen, einen Geschirrspüler haben wir allerdings nicht.

Alles in allem liegt der Grund dieser schlechten Bewertung vermutlich an einer ganz anderer Stelle, denn sonst hätten die Damen uns ja jederzeit die Chance zur Nachbesserung gewähren können, bei berechtigten Beanstandungen.
Da die beiden aber die gesamte Woche sehr zufrieden (auf mehrfache Nachfrage) waren, bestätigt sich mein trauriger Eindruck nur noch mehr.
Schade, sie wirkten eigentlich recht sympathisch.

Quiet little place, small and cozy house, where you still have everything you need, and if not, the extremely nice landlords help out (e.g., with a heater or also skat cards). We felt very comfortable and will come back! ?

A hidden treasure

We had a wonderful couple of days at the Spatzennest. Even our dog felt at home right from the start.
The accommodation is exactly as described, lovingly furnished, and has everything you need for a great holiday.
Super nice hosts. The homemade jam, the fresh eggs and the freshly picked strawberries made everything even more perfect.

TOP - Perfect for the dog lover with family

Simply a great location. You can really take the word "feel-good community" to mean exactly that here. The owners are two lovely people who give this little house/apartment that certain charm.... With LOVE for the DETAIL. The rear terrace invites you to take a deep breath and relax... There is a bunk bed for the children - perfect :-)
You are always helpful, which you don't find so much these days. Keep up the good work... VERY much recommended! With the dog you are right in nature and you can walk for hours with your four-legged friend.

We will be back next year

We have booked again for next year, which almost speaks for itself!
We were spontaneously looking for a possibility to take our two elderly pets with us on holiday and to enjoy the holidays together as a family. We found the lovingly furnished and well-equipped holiday cottage "Los Enteles" from the Brabec family, which offers everything we 3 two-legged friends (2 adults, 1 child 7 years) and 2 four-legged friends needed
In Rodenbostel itself, fox and hare literally say "good night" to each other - if you appreciate it, you will love it. So all the possibilities are there for young and old: The location is ideal for excursions to or around Hanover to the sea and all the attractions and natural beauty in between. Or more quietly in the nearby surroundings on nature trails, in the forest, in the moor, picking blueberries ... You need a car, a variety of shopping facilities and, if needed, restaurants are within a few km in different directions
And thanks to the fenced garden, we were able to leave our tomcats alone at home; they both enjoyed the unfamiliar nature very much. If you like it quieter or if it rains, you can also stay in the cottage or outside. The Brabec family are very caring and uncomplicated hosts. We felt comfortable all around.

Quiet, welcoming and cosy!

Los Enteles is a really clean and lovingly furnished holiday home with totally friendly hosts in the middle of the village near Hanover. There is nothing missing here and especially if you want to get out of the city for a few days or generally enjoy the proximity to the countryside, then this holiday home is really a good choice. My personal highlight is the direct proximity to nature and the associated peace and quiet on long walks

It is especially great that you can bring your pet with you if you wish. Dogs and cats, which usually have to stay at home with a cat sitter, are very welcome and enjoy the view on the fenced terrace just as much as you do. :-)

In short, an absolute recommendation.
