The cottage was built in the style of a mountain house. It is built with natural materials from the immediate surroundings (granite and wood), making it a wonderful sight to the landscape.
In the Karkonosze Mountains, enjoy excellent hiking, mountain biking, rafting, skiing and cross country skiing.
Well-known, family friendly mountain health resort and winter sports resort, in a valley, 30 km from Jelenia Góra, 10 km from Harrachov (Czechy), 130 km from Wrocław. In the resort: supermarket, shops, grocers, bakers, post office, bank, restaurant, bar. Access: railway station "Jelenia Góra" 30 m. Bus service. Wodospad Szklarski. For arrivals by plane: airport - Wrocław (WRO) 130 km. Szklarska Poreba is a very well known holiday centre on the hills of Karkonosze and Izerskie. There is also the Karkonowski Park Narodowy nature reserve there which belongs to the Rezerwat Biosfera Karkonosze (60 000 ha). Situated near the Czech border (Jakuszyce), 8 km. German border at Zgorzelec, 50 km.
