We are pleased to welcome you to our holiday apartment.
Located in the quietest area of the island, yet with convenient transport access, this 4-room apartment spans 100 sqm. The high-quality furnishings can accommodate up to 6 people and are equipped with allergy-friendly materials.
This is a non-smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed. The apartment has been awarded 4 stars**** by the German Tourism Association on several occasions. The apartment is located on the upper floor of a four-party house and has a protected balcony facing south-west as well as a small private garden with a barbecue area. There is also a storage room for bicycles brought or rented on the island.
You will find a private parking space with a carport in the courtyard.
You will be living in Borkum Südstrand near the Greune Stee nature reserve. The fine sandy beach is approximately 500 meters away. The island railway stop on Jakob-van-Dyken-Weg is about 50 m away.
You can reach the island's center on foot in about 30 minutes, by bike in 10 minutes, or by island railway in 5 minutes.
The nearest bakery is just a 3-minute walk away, and the nearest supermarket can be reached in about 10 minutes. For our little guests, there is a playground very close to the apartment. We wish you a wonderful vacation in the fresh sea air, sunbathing on the fine sandy beach, hiking through the nearby nature reserve, or on endless bike rides on the well-maintained paths through the island's dunes.
We have equipped our vacation apartment as we have always wished in apartments we rented in the past. Families with small and also with big children should feel comfortable here. Living area with leather sectional, coffee table, and entertainment center with large Smart TV, micro system, free Wi-Fi access (100,000 M/bits/s) and telephone for landline calls within Germany, various games and books.
Dining area with table and chairs for 6 people, high chair for children. Open fitted kitchen with dishwasher, stove with induction hob, oven with microwave, circulating air hood, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hand mixer, waffle iron, and raclette set. Cutlery and glasses are available for 12 people.
Storage room with washer dryer, clothes rack, and iron.

Location and surroundings of object
You can travel comfortably by train or by car and ferry. The ferry connection from Emden to Borkum takes about 2 1/2 hours and is about 50km. The crossing from Eemshaven to Borkum takes 55 minutes and is about 15km.

Once you arrive at the Borkum ferry port, you can reach the holiday flat as follows:
By car, drive along Reedestraße for about 5 km. After you have passed the entrance to Borkum, you will see a branch of the Sparkasse bank on the right-hand side. Just opposite, turn left into Jakob-van-Dyken-Weg. Follow the road. After crossing the railway crossing without a barrier, turn left into Kiebitzdelle-Dünen. Take the first courtyard entrance on the right, drive past the house to the parking spaces and park in the far right parking space under the carport.
Take the island train to the first stop Jakob-van-Dyken-Weg. Cross the tracks and walk to the next crossroads. Here you turn left into the street Kiebitzdelle-Dünen. The first house on the right is already your holiday home. At a distance of 55 kilometres from the East Frisian mainland lies Borkum, the North Sea island with a high-sea climate, a recognised spa and a charming island town with a wide range of cultural activities all in one.
Borkum is the westernmost and, at 36 square kilometres, largest of the seven East Frisian Islands in the southern North Sea. Due to the Gulf Stream, the island has a moderate climate, not very hot in summer and not very cold in winter. Due to its high seas location, the island is particularly low in pollen and iodine.
