Description

The holiday flat is part of a lovingly restored Eifel farmhouse. It has a separate entrance. You can park your car right outside the front door. In the lovingly decorated living room you can make yourself comfortable on a comfortable seating area. Of course, there is also a TV set and a radio.
The spacious kitchen with adjoining dining area is equipped with all comforts.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, toilet and hand basin.
On the upper floor of the holiday flat there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. An emergency bed is also available. If required, we are also happy to provide a cot. Dogs can be brought along by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object

Only 1 km away is the lake of Bütgenbach, a paradise for anglers and water sports enthusiasts.
The neighbouring village of Bütgenbach/ Worriken has developed into one of the largest and most beautiful sports centres in Belgium. Here you can sail, windsurf, swim, row, kayak, rent pedal boats, play tennis, ride horses and much more.
The house is close to the Vennbahn & Ravel cycle paths!
A short distance away is the Hohes Venn nature reserve (Europe's largest raised bog). You should definitely plan a hike or even a guided excursion through this unique moor landscape.

The small village of Büllingen-Wirtzfeld lies on the edge of the High Fens - Eifel Nature Reserve. Directly from the house you can go on extensive hikes and bicycle tours through the surrounding fields and forests.
In snowy winters, you can go cross-country skiing on numerous groomed trails, go tobogganing or build a snowman in our large garden.

Super beautiful

Such a nice family, we were greeted very warmly, the house, an antique, lovingly arranged. Very good hiking opportunities. The High Fens, beautiful. We will definitely vacation in this house again. We felt very comfortable there.

A winter delight!

Beautiful holiday

Dear Mrs Daniels, dear Mr Daniels, we were warmly welcomed by you and felt very comfortable with you, unfortunately for far too short a time.
The beautiful old house was so lovingly renovated and radiates a cosy comfort. The garden is no different, with its many trees, flowers and pond, all tastefully arranged. This alone is worth a holiday, but the surroundings must also be explored, because the landscape of the High Fens is unique and there are great cycling and hiking trails such as the Kyllradweg on old railway tracks

Dream vacation

For us, it was a dream vacation, so we spontaneously booked again for the coming year.
The old farmhouse with its tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds, and almost complete kitchen equipment left nothing to be desired.
The quiet yet central location, the huge garden with several seating areas and its own pond, storage space for bicycles brought along, parking in the courtyard in front of the house was ideal.
The owners, who live next door, are extremely loving, courteous people. Our well-behaved dog was also welcome there.
They were always ready with tips, advice, and help.
The rural surroundings, the nearby reservoir, are perfect for extensive hikes. The nearest larger towns can be reached in a few minutes, and there you can find everything from the post office to the bakery, supermarket, and restaurants, etc.
The surrounding area also offers many historical and cultural attractions. Germany and Luxembourg are in close proximity and invite you to a day trip.
We look forward to meeting again.

Vakantie met hond

Part of an old farmhouse. Landlords are very friendly and helpful. Private entrance. Parking on the property. Very large, fenced garden with seating area and pond. House equipped with all conveniences. Many well-marked hiking and cycling routes. Also available through an app. Reservoir within walking distance. Two larger towns 5 minutes away by car for shopping. Had a wonderful week!

Pure relaxation

We were only here for 6 days, but were able to switch off from the first moment. The house is lovingly furnished by the very accommodating and friendly owners, who live right next door. The proximity to Lake Bütgenbach is priceless, especially on warm days. From here, you can quickly reach the High Fens and many other tourist destinations. We will definitely come back!

Summer vacation

A very beautiful old farmhouse with tastefully decorated rooms. The bathroom with the brick wall has a very special flair. Huis Daniels, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We have spent our vacation at Mr. and Mrs. Daniels' house for the 11th time this year (2019).
Staying in this beautifully restored house with all modern comforts is pleasant.
The large garden with grassy areas, pond, and beautiful trees is very special. You can enjoy peace, bird songs, sun, and shade there. You can choose your own spots to relax. For us, being able to "eat outside" is a bonus.
Mr. and Mrs. Daniels welcome vacationers as GUESTS. Hun discreet, tactful, friendly, and extremely helpful attitude enhances the carefree holiday feeling. Within walking distance of the accommodation, you can enjoy hiking and cycling to your heart's content, including on the Ravel route (an old railway line) and engaging in sports around and in Lake Bütgenbach. A holiday at Daniels' house is excellent, highly recommended!

Very nice holiday in a great environment.

The holiday home is an old, comfortable farmhouse with loving furnishings. Everything you need is available. The decor is decorated with many antiques and completed. The beds are comfortable and it is quiet and we slept very well. The landlords are very friendly people who have an open ear for all concerns. All in all, a successful holiday. Since the bedrooms are located upstairs, it is better not to have any trouble with climbing stairs.

Very beautiful house with a lot of character

A beautiful house, partially built in 1666, with its own water source in the basement. Fully equipped with everything you need. The house is located in a very nice part of Belgium, with many sights and nature, such as the beautiful lake nearby. Not to forget is, of course, the very large garden with many seating areas.

A very nice environment for hiking, cycling, and mountain biking.
