We had a fantastic stay at this lovely summerhouse for nine days. The house itself is beautiful, cozy, and well-maintained, with an absolutely amazing fireplace that made our evenings extra special. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which was a huge plus for us!The only downside was that the fridge wasn’t cooling properly, despite us trying different settings. Our milk became lumpy within a few days, which was frustrating, though the freezer worked fine. Additionally, the coffee pot in the machine had a broken handle, making it a bit tricky to use.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider coming back. If the fridge gets fixed, it would be absolutely perfect! Recommendations: 10 minutes from Fredericia only

The house is well equipped, as we are used to in Denmark. The furnishings are in reasonable condition, adjusted to the rental price. The location to the water is good (about 150m), but the beach is a bit further away, recommended if you are with children (about 1000m). The property is well maintained and surrounded by bushes, but it does not prevent dogs (especially smaller breeds) from running away. Recommendations: For those who would like to watch some TV in the evening, I recommend bringing a TV stick or the passwords for common streaming providers. Television only works via the internet. With the available TV stick, TV reception in German is not possible without access data for, e.g., Prime/Netflix, or I was too dumb. / I would recommend the city of Vejle, nice shopping stroll + relatively quick to reach. The same applies to Fredericia. Kolding is also okay. For further tours, Aarhus.

I had found a place in the holiday home area where firewood was sold. On the stove stood a small propeller. I assume that this needs to be installed in the flue. No matter what I tried, the fire wouldn't burn. Fire needs oxygen, and I assume that is what the propeller is supposed to provide. For this reason, I sometimes had to use the heating in the evenings, which caused electricity costs. I was traveling alone, as my husband passed away at the end of February. I treated myself to this vacation because it was important to me. Financially, it wasn't so easy for me. Since I was somewhat frugal, it worked out. / / Another point that I didn't like concerns DanCenter itself. I had to pay for the consumption on-site on the morning of departure. We hadn't had to do that for years. When booking, a deposit was usually paid - with other providers - which was used to settle the consumption. I would have liked to start home very early on Saturday, October 7th. On the mentioned Saturday, the Elbtunnel was closed, and I arrived in Hamburg only around 12:00 PM. It was extremely crowded at that time of day; I took more than 2 hours to get through Hamburg. // It would be nice if that changed. Recommendations: Miniby Fredericia, Jelling, Fynske Landby, Kolding hus - all easily accessible.
