Recommendations: Zoos in Odense (1h drive) and Randers (1.5h) are good, Den Gamle By in Aarhus (1h) is great for the whole family, Billund (1h) with Legoland and Lego-House is quickly accessible.

The windows could use a cleaning from the outside. Recommendations: A child-friendly beach is a bit further away, but still reachable on foot. The property is on a slope and not quite perfect for small children or older people. A structural path leads to the fjord shore, which is also not suitable for small children or seniors. Vejle is quickly reachable and offers all shopping options. Ribe or Aarhus are also not far away. Legoland is nearby as well. In Mørkhold itself, near the coast, there is a small playground.

We missed nothing and felt very comfortable. We did not use the TV, as the program selection seems quite limited. We booked this house for the second time. Recommendations: Day trips by car to several cities are easily doable (Kolding, Vejle, Middelfart, etc.) One should check out the giant troll in Borkop, also a nice area for walking (especially in the sun). Otherwise, you can spend a lot of time by the water if you enjoy it.
