Description
Our holiday home, completed in 2021 and very modernly furnished, is located in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee – pure nature with numerous hiking trails awaits you – without mass tourism or visitor’s tax! The room layout allows occupancy by just 2 people + furry children (only the front part of the house can be used) as well as larger groups (the rear part of the house has an additional 3 bedrooms and a bathroom).
Dogs are warmly welcome and travel free of charge. For the safety of your pets while playing, the garden property (approx. 160 cm high) is completely fenced – double rod mesh panels with dig protection. To the right and left on the neighboring properties, there are no other dogs. No through traffic, the street in front of the house ends in a cul-de-sac / dirt road.
Altogether, there is a kitchen-living room, a living room, a dining room, two bathrooms, four bedrooms (2 of them with TV), a guest WC, and a utility room. The windows and terrace doors are equipped with electric shutters. For further comfort, at least 1 window (and the terrace door) in each room is fitted with so-called gauze window frames. These keep insects away and ensure you a quiet evening and a peaceful night in the house.
Kitchen-living room and living room are deliberately kept open and, together with the fireplace, form a harmonious unit. In addition to radio and smart TV, several books as well as free internet via Wi-Fi are available to you (fiber optic).
The fully equipped fitted kitchen contains modern appliances: dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and freezer are a matter of course. The entire house is equipped with underfloor heating – via heat pump.
From the dining room, you can access a generously designed terrace (60 m²) through a large terrace door. From here, you can enjoy a fantastic view of fields, meadows, and forests. A barbecue fireplace and a seating set with 10 chairs are available for sociable hours.
Three bedrooms are each equipped with a double bed, and in one bedroom, the use of an existing wall bed is also possible. A fourth bedroom is furnished with a single bed and a bunk bed, so our holiday bungalow offers enough space for up to ten people in total. Furthermore, two travel cots and two high chairs for children are available for you.
The high-quality bathrooms with rain shower, each with a bathtub, a WC, and underfloor heating leave nothing to be desired. The light can be dimmed steplessly – so you have the opportunity to enjoy a bath in a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, there is a guest WC and a utility room with washing machine and dryer.
At the house, there is a carport with two parking spaces. Further parking is of course available on the paved area in front of the house. The very lightly trafficked street (no through traffic) is about 20 m from the bungalow and separated from the property by a stone wall.

Location and surroundings of object
The surrounding inland lakes offer you numerous bathing opportunities. These include the Schaalsee, 8 km away, the Neuenkirchener See, 3 km away, and the Boissower See, which you can reach in just 2 km. Around the lakes you can explore our nature reserve with its wonderful flora and fauna by means of many cycling and hiking trails. Numerous forests in the near vicinity also invite you to get to know the almost untouched nature of the reserve
The fishermen in Lassahn and Zarrentin offer fish specialities such as pike-perch, pike or vendace, fresh or smoked. The weekly market at the Pahlhuus in Zarrentin, which takes place on the first weekend of every month, is also interesting and varied. Regional handicrafts as well as delicacies for the palate invite you to stroll around
The state capital Schwerin is only about 35 km away and invites you to stroll through the Schlossparkcenter, the Siebenseencenter and the old town. A visit to Schwerin Castle and a walk in the adjacent castle gardens are highly recommended, as is an afternoon at Schwerin Zoo. Culturally, you can get your money's worth at the Mecklenburg State Theatre Schwerin and the State Museum Schwerin
The Alpincenter Hamburg-Wittenburg only 10 km away, snowboard half pipe, kart race track, quad + off-road track, mountain bike & BMX park, beach volleyball & soccer, adventure playground, open air stage, high ropes course, skate park, beer garden, après-ski parties, children's world, restaurant mile, sauna and bowling alley.

In case of early departure or failure to arrive without prior notice, there is no entitlement to a refund.

Vacation with Dog
We were in this beautiful holiday home from August 15, 2026, to August 22, 2026! We can only recommend it to everyone, it is totally quiet! The view from the apartment is also fantastic! Additionally, it is very clean and the layout/rooms were decorated with great care! We lacked nothing! There are several lakes nearby where you can enjoy your time beautifully! There are also many cycling and hiking trails available! One can also take many day trips (towards Schwerin, Lübeck)
The landlady was very nice and really knows her stuff; you can tell she does it with heart and soul! (You can write to her anytime via WhatsApp)
For us, it was a totally relaxing vacation; we are already considering whether to go back there next year!

Top house, good location.
We had a very nice few days in this great holiday home. The furnishings are of high quality and everything is very well maintained. We wanted for nothing. The contact with the landlady was super uncomplicated and very nice. We were even welcomed with eggs from our own chickens. The house is in a quiet location, we were there with 5 dogs and could go for nice walks from the house.
Even though it was still quite cool, the garden was great. We had a lot of fun with the available table tennis table. The kitchen is also equipped with everything you could want. The house was super clean. We will certainly come again.

Beautiful house
We spent a very nice time in the house... with 5 adults, 5 children and 2 dogs... nothing is missing... super equipment! The landlady is very nice! A great, huge property... securely fenced!!! We have been to Schwerin, Schaalsee and Boltenhagen... all easily accessible... always very happy to come back!

Our holiday over Christmas 2021
The holiday home is very nicely divided, very well thought out.
Everything is new and clean. Nothing is missing.
Cosy sofa set, from which both the TV and the burning fireplace can be enjoyed wonderfully.
Very well equipped kitchen.
The landlady is an extremely friendly and helpful young woman.
We felt very welcome.
The hammer !!!! was a very lovingly decorated Christmas tree.
We will definitely be back.

Wellness oasis in beautiful nature
Nicely equipped and furnished, new dream house with plenty of space... cozy... with massage chair... stove... bathtub... large, completely fenced garden... for those who are seeking peace and relaxation and for dog owners... kilometer-long walks directly from the house through beautiful nature with 2 lakes in the immediate vicinity possible... great photo opportunities... even outside of the season a very nice holiday home... super nice and warm hosts... we felt very comfortable and would love to come back...

Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat wirklich Ahnung, man merkt, dass sie es mit Herz und Seele macht! (Man kann ihr jederzeit per WhatsApp schreiben)
Für uns war es ein total erholsamer Urlaub, wir überlegen schon, ob wir wieder nächstes Jahr dort hin fahren!

Auch wenn es noch recht kühl war, war der Garten großartig. Mit der vorhandenen Tischtennisplatte hatten wir eine Menge Spaß. Die Küche ist auch mit allen was man sich wünscht ausgestattet. Das Haus war super sauber. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen.
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön aufgeteilt, sehr durchdacht.
Alles neu und sauber. Es fehlt an nichts.
Gemütliche Couchgarnitur, von der sowohl das Fernsehen als auch der brennende Kamin herrlich genossen werden kann.
Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche.
Die Vermieterin ist eine ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite junge Frau.
Wir fühlten uns sehr herzlich willkommen.
Der Hammer !!!! war ein sehr liebevoll geschmückter Christbaum.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
Das Ferienhaus selbst hatte für uns eine optimale Lage für Spaziergänge mit unserem Hund. Wir haben die herrliche Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und bietet alles für einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub.
Es hat uns sogar so gut gefallen, dass wir verlängert haben….
Besser kann ein Ferienhaus ja nicht sein….
Für unseren Schäferhund war es ein Paradies. Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Also gerne wieder ?
