Bright and comfortably furnished one-room holiday apartment on the 1st floor for 2 persons with a small balcony facing east
The living room is divided into a sleeping area with double bed, and orthopedic sleep system beds, as well as in a living area with large comfortable corner bench and a pull-out sofa bed. There is also room for a cot.
Separately located is the small, fully equipped kitchen, with toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, etc..
Bathroom with underfloor heating, shower, WC, hairdryer, hand and shower towels and bath mat
Baby equipment with cot, high chair, children's cutlery, small stool in the bathroom,
SAT/TV, radio-CD player, free W-LAN,
Garage and storage space for bicycles and skis available, ski room with boot dryer

Really quiet and extremely sunny is our country house. Here you can enjoy the wonderful mountain view in an unspoilt location. The view reaches up to the Allgäu mountains. All around green meadows and pastures where animals graze in summer. Ideal for hiking, since our house is located on the walking trail network.

The house is located at the end of a dead end street, ideal for families because it is (almost) traffic-free. Here the children can play.
Above the house you can reach the most scenic cross-country ski trail of the valley, the Schwendeloipe
1.1 km to the Walserbus and refreshment stop

Riezlern is the first village in the Kleinwalsertal. Due to its geographical location, our valley has been economically connected to Germany for over 100 years. The 3 villages Riezlern, Hirschegg and Mittelberg form the community Mittelberg. The first settlers came from the canton of Wallis in Switzerland. The Kleinwalsertal with its approx. 5000 inhabitants covers an area of 97 km². It is about 15 km long and about 6.5 km wide
Encircled by mountains, the valley can only be reached by car via German territory. In order to reach Austrian territory from here, one must either be "good on foot" (over the mountain) or take on an approx. 45 km long car journey. For this reason it has been a customs union area since 1891, in order to relieve the valley population financially. For years the official currency of the Kleinwalsertal was the D-Mark. With the accession to the EU, the associated Schengen Agreement and the changeover to the Euro, the "customs union status" is increasingly losing its significance. In former times the people here lived from agriculture. But tourism has also found its way here and the proverbial Walser hospitality helps to create an all-round pleasant atmosphere for the guest.
