Discover our cozy holiday home in Baabe, in the beautiful southeast of the island of Rügen. Here, right at the edge of the forest, you will find peace, fresh Baltic Sea air, and yet everything important within a few minutes’ walk.
Ideal for couples, small families, and for anyone who simply wants to bring their dog on holiday.
Whether it’s a morning walk through the forest, a day on the fine sandy beach, or a fish sandwich at the harbor, here your vacation begins right at your doorstep. The fine sandy Baltic Sea beach is only about 1,500 meters away. You can reach the idyllic Selliner See after around 400 meters, and the Baabe marina after about 500 meters.
Especially convenient: The free spa train stops right at the property boundary and takes you comfortably to the beach or the harbor.
In the town itself you will find everything for your daily needs: restaurants, cafés, bakeries, a supermarket, and small shops – all within walking distance. The modern and lovingly furnished holiday home offers space for a relaxing vacation with family or friends. It features a bright living room with an adjoining, fully equipped kitchen, two cozy bedrooms, as well as a modern bathroom with a spacious shower.
One bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed, the second offers two single beds – ideal for children or additional guests. The spacious south-facing terrace invites you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the morning sun, sunbathe, or spend cozy barbecue evenings in a relaxed atmosphere.
Four-legged companions are also very welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to come along. The property is only partially fenced, so freedom-loving four-legged friends should not be left unattended.
Numerous cycling and hiking trails through the beautiful Mönchgut start directly from the holiday home. You can store your bicycles safely and conveniently in the lockable garage.

The quiet location offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday amidst nature.

The idyllic marina is just 500 meters away and invites you to enjoy relaxing walks. The Baltic Sea resort of Baabe delights with one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the southeast of the island of Rügen.
The neighboring Baltic Sea resorts of Sellin and Göhren are easily accessible on foot or by bicycle and offer numerous excursion and leisure opportunities.
In the town you will find a good selection of restaurants, cafés, shopping facilities, as well as everything you need for a successful holiday.

Simply beautiful
We unlocked the vacation bungalow and immediately felt comfortable.
The location was great, not far from the bakery, a nice terrace with comfortable folding chairs, a large sun umbrella, the beds were simply relaxing for me because I can't sleep on every mattress, but here it was just right.
Mrs. Dumrath was always nice and helpful, Mr. Dumrath immediately helped to turn the heating up a bit, as it was already a bit cool in the house in the evenings.
The fly screens on the bedroom windows were helpful, they provided peace and quiet. A nice big bathroom with a shower, plenty of storage space available for hygiene items.
We would love to come back and of course recommend it to others.

The apartment is wonderful, we felt really comfortable, it is located in a great area, it couldn't be better. Landlords are very friendly and everything works quickly and without problems.
