Description
We are offering a 75 m² ground floor flat for holiday guests, which will be completed in the spring of 2021. The single-family house from 1930 was renovated by us in the last 4 years according to ecological aspects. The flat is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, very central in the heart of Burg. The flat consists of 3.5 rooms, a dining room with kitchen, living room, bedroom and children's room. In addition, there is a spacious bathroom equipped with a ground-level shower, a recessed bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet. All rooms are equipped with a LAN connection and also have a WLAN connection. The living room and bedroom each have a TV with satellite connection.
At this point I would like to give you a brief outline of the main points of the ecological core renovation:
All walls were plastered with pure lime plaster and painted with pure lime paint. The exterior walls were additionally given a lime insulating plaster. A baseboard heating system has been installed under the plaster in the entire flat. The heating in the living room and bedroom area is additionally provided by a concealed wall heating. Furthermore, the old wooden floorboards in this area have been taken up and re-laid on wooden insulation. In the hallway area the old tiles were taken up and newly laid. The ceiling of the flat is insulated with recycled cellulose flakes. In front of the building, we have recently made two parking spaces and the access road from recycled natural stone paving, as well as a small terrace at the garden exit.
The flat on the upper floor is not yet finished. The garden area is available for use, but work on the outdoor facilities and garden has not yet been completed. This also applies to the coating of the exterior facade.

The holiday flat is centrally located in Burg auf Fehmarn, the largest village on the island of Fehmarn. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the market square as well as the commercial area of Burg with its numerous shopping facilities. The south beach promenade with its long sandy beach is about 4 km away.

Very nice holiday apartment.
We were in this beautiful vacation apartment for the first two weeks of July. We immediately felt at home. The equipment is great, especially the kitchen is very well equipped. We didn't miss anything. It is also a quiet location and it only took us 5 minutes to walk to the town center, for example, to the bakery in the morning. Perfect! The outdoor area, i.e. the garden, is still being worked on, as stated in the description. We would come back again.

Like a 2nd home
After 2 weeks of holiday, we can only say that we have only had such a great holiday flat once.
We found the ecological aspect of the flat particularly positive.
We also noticed the good kitchen equipment. The flat is recommended for pensioners and families with children. The handover on arrival and departure was completely problem-free. Agreements were kept. We would book again immediately.

Super flat. We felt right at home. The flat is exactly as described. High quality furnishings, great quiet, central location (2min walk to shopping, eating out or getting bread rolls). Sun on the terrace in the morning for breakfast. Checking in and out was very easy thanks to the nice landlords and at a reasonable price.
