The South Goods is a hidden gem! The large garden with a pond provided the perfect backdrop for our family BBQ. We enjoyed spending the evenings on the terrace, while we enjoyed the peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

What a lovely spot! The privacy of the property was a huge advantage, We enjoyed long walks in the nearby woods and were pleasantly surprised by how close we were to beautiful cities like Bruges and Ypres,

We absolutely loved our stay! The garden is beautiful and so private. We spent the mornings on the terrace with coffee and the afternoons exploring the nearby hiking trails. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Wonderful, cozy, comfortable house. Atmospheric kitchen, fireplace, fantastic space near the house and view. Everything is great. We were a little unlucky with the weather, but this is a place where you definitely want to come back again.

We were in the house in autumn and that was very nice too. We made uncomplicated day trips to Ghent, Bruges, and the sea. The kitchen is then a wonderful place in the evening to cook together, eat, and play games. For more people, the large living room would be another place to spend time. In summer, you can certainly make wonderful use of the large garden.

The house is really very pleasant, you feel at home. Everything is practical to live in and very bright. We loved the cozy and no-fuss aspect. The garden is also really very nice and since we are "at the end of the road," we have no neighbors; great! As for the owner, she is both available if needed, but with absolute discretion. I can only recommend this place.

We had a pleasant stay at The South Goods. The house is well-equipped and clean, which made our arrival smooth. Although the location is quite isolated, it offered the privacy we were looking for. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurants, but we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The nearby bike paths were a nice bonus, and we took a day trip to Kasteel d'Aertrycke, which was beautiful. Overall, a solid choice for a quiet family vacation.

The location was very nice. A very well maintained garden. But the house itself, without words!! The bedroom on the ground floor is totally run down. The closet is almost falling apart, the carpet is completely dirty and the bed... just terrible. The stairs to the first floor are life-threatening... something like that would be forbidden in Germany. The lower toilet resembles a garden toilet. The kitchen front is completely gone. There are no cushions on any chair and they were missing from the garden chairs. We had the feeling that the owners' old furniture had found its way here. And in the meantime it was completely worn out... Horrible!! The view from the kitchen was very nice. The blinds in the living room are very dirty... If I rent, then please not like that!!!!

Only downside could be the darkening of the bedrooms, which could be better. But in the winter, when we were there, that was no problem. Furthermore, walking possibilities in domain d "Aertrijcke and Wijnendalebos. Cycling routes as well. And Bruges is nearby with museums, shopping, historic buildings and top culture. Enjoyed this week's holiday very much!
