We went for a weekend with 12 friends to Holiday Residence Den Ast. Really a top location with a beautiful house and a very quiet environment. The animals from the petting zoo and the adjacent playground were AMAZING! The presence of visitors at the farm could cause some noise disturbance during the day if you didn't leave the accommodation, but to be honest, we hardly experienced any issues with that ourselves! Really a recommendation!!

Top house: all comfort present - indeed a puzzle to understand the lighting control in the home automation but that is a detail. Jacuzzi was pleasant, owner let us walk around the children's farm, and more than enough space for all the sleepers.

Luxury house with a nice jacuzzi and a friendly owner! This house, located within walking distance of the village center, is ideal for families with children or groups of friends who love nature. The house is next to a beautiful petting farm with a gigantic playground where you can enter the grounds without having to pay. It was fun to cuddle with the newborn goats and have a staring contest with the emu. We really enjoyed our weekend and the walk-in cooler was a big plus!

Very large and beautiful house located next to a farm with many play facilities for children and the location is close to some nice large places like Roeselare and Torhout. We will definitely come back!

Very nice, spacious, clean house with a lovely Jacuzzi. Owners live a bit further down the street and were also very helpful. Nice outing as Asia for Bruges and sea (Ostend, Panne, and even Dunkirk).

Vacation villa den Ast is a paradise for children. Unlimited access to the petting zoo with a super large playground and play barn for rainy days is fantastic for kids. The jacuzzi is lovely, had a malfunction twice but was quickly resolved. The house is big enough for 2 families. The kitchen does have a somewhat echoing acoustics. A few more curtains or a rug would help to dampen the echo. The beds were comfortable, I would recommend purchasing separate duvets. Our preference is not under 1 duvet in a double bed. But that is personal. Furthermore, we had a lovely stay.

Spacious house with a huge garden. We enjoyed the place and the beautiful weather for a week. Even our teenagers enjoyed the animals at the nearby petting farm. Great spot for visiting the surrounding area. Roeselare, Ostend, Bruges, Lille, and Ypres. Impressive places visited that remind of World War I. Good bakers and supermarkets in the village. Sons-in-law made beautiful rides on their racing bikes. In short, it was overall a positive experience.

Mansion Den Ast exceeded our expectations! The interior was comfortable and welcoming, and having a washing machine was a big plus for us. We explored Lichtervelde and loved the local dining options. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Recently we enjoyed a 2 week holiday in villa "Den Ast" in Lichtervelde. And did we enjoy it!!!! Our stay was simply sublime. Both the adults (my brother, my sister-in-law, my partner and myself) and the children (3, 6 and 8 years old) were very impressed by the space and cleanliness that the house had to offer, the fantastic garden and the inviting farm just next door. Everything was available to make it a successful holiday. Thanks to the glorious weather, the swimming pond was used daily, but the spacious jacuzzi was also a great success. Every morning after breakfast we visited the animals of the petting zoo and the children enjoyed themselves on the playground, bouncy castles and climbing equipment. Because whoever rents the holiday home can also make unlimited use of the facilities that the farm offers every day. With three young children, this is pure indulgence. The farm is open to the public from 1 pm, but despite the fact that it is only separated from the holiday home by a hedge, there is 100% privacy. So in the morning we enjoyed the animals, in the afternoon we stayed in the garden and the hours flew by while swimming and playing. And if there was already a day of rain, the children could indulge themselves in a separate play corner with all kinds of board games and craft materials that are also present. So we enjoyed the beautiful holiday home itself, all the beauty on the farm and the blissful surroundings. And should I still find a small minus .... then I would have liked to have mosquito nets in the bedrooms. The temperatures at the top quickly rose to 30 degrees thanks to the beautiful weather and when we left the windows open in the morning or evening to cool down, it was full of mosquitoes in no time. But yes...so you can look for something that you don't like. We thought our stay was great!!! A big thank you.

(started at 8 with the hedge trimmer and leaf blower) Guests should not suffer from maintenance! And the day of departure, cleaning ladies rang the bell more than an hour in advance to clean upstairs! While there was still a shower! They were short on time with cleaning schedule. It is a super nice house. Large, lots of light and immaculate. The beds are fantastic good. The garden was very well maintained. Nice to sit in. The only pity for us was that, even though we thought the garden was fenced, it turned out not to be. So we had to leash our dogs... But it is a great holiday home with friendly landlords.

The house was perfect, beautiful living kitchen, whirlpool, etc. However, the cooperation of Belvilla to rebook our first chosen house in connection with corona (house in code orange area) to a house in code yellow area was not really customer friendly. in the end only paid the rebooking costs (50% of the rental price). Information on the website is unclear about this and Bellvilla is hardly accessible by telephone.

The house was easy to find with the navigation. Once there we were received very pleasantly and everything looked neat and nice. Just outside the garden, many children played with the play equipment. The house is very nice. Nice layout, nice that all bedrooms are on one floor. The front desk was very nice, a later arrival was no problem. The hot tub was a highlight, as was the fireplace in the living room. Very good and many seating, comfortable couch and comfortable beds. Every now and then we came to visit cats, next door is a kind of barn with catering. All in all a very nice house and definitely recommendable.

We spent a week with 6 adults, 4 kids, two dogs and a baby, the children enjoyed the playground and the animals. it is a fantastic house, huge, cozy and comfortable. Lovely sitting in the hot tub. Games played at the large dining table. If we may give a point of criticism, the dining room chairs make a lot of noise and are a bit rickety. It is a wonderful holiday home with all comfort and convenience and certainly worth repeating.

Both the adults (my brother, my sister-in-law, my partner and myself) and the children (3, 6 and 8 years old) were very impressed by the space and cleanliness that the house had to offer, the fantastic garden and the inviting farm just next door. Everything was available to make it a successful holiday. Thanks to the glorious weather, the swimming pond was used daily, but the spacious jacuzzi was also a great success. Every morning after breakfast we visited the animals of the petting zoo and the children enjoyed themselves on the playground, bouncy castles and climbing equipment. Because whoever rents the holiday home can also make unlimited use of the facilities that the farm offers every day. With three young children, this is pure indulgence. The farm is open to the public from 1 pm, but despite the fact that it is only separated from the holiday home by a hedge, there is 100% privacy. So in the morning we enjoyed the animals, in the afternoon we stayed in the garden and the hours flew by while swimming and playing. And if there was already a day of rain, the children could indulge themselves in a separate play corner with all kinds of board games and craft materials that are also present. So we enjoyed the beautiful holiday home itself, all the beauty on the farm and the blissful surroundings. And should I still find a small minus .... then I would have liked to have mosquito nets in the bedrooms. The temperatures at the top quickly rose to 30 degrees thanks to the beautiful weather and when we left the windows open in the morning or evening to cool down, it was full of mosquitoes in no time. But yes...so you can look for something that you don't like. We thought our stay was great!!! A big thank you.

An ideal home for our family. Very nicely located and well maintained. Also a beautiful garden with a trampoline that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The 2 dogs also had plenty of room to run around. We all enjoyed our week in "Den Ast".

It is a super nice house. Large, lots of light and immaculate. The beds are fantastic good. The garden was very well maintained. Nice to sit in. The only pity for us was that, even though we thought the garden was fenced, it turned out not to be. So we had to leash our dogs... But it is a great holiday home with friendly landlords.

The house was easy to find with the navigation. Once there we were received very pleasantly and everything looked neat and nice. Just outside the garden, many children played with the play equipment. The families could look into our garden in no time, now that didn't matter to us, but maybe that is nice to know. Furthermore, we had no problems with that. Calm environment.

Great in one word! Fantastic house, top environment! You can easily reach Bruges, Kortrijk, Yper or the coast. Highly recommended! The owner and staff are also great! good service and easy to reach. The children's farm is a plus for the children. House is super spacious with a spacious living room, well-equipped kitchen and top walk-in fridge.

The house is very nice. Nice layout, nice that all bedrooms are on one floor. The front desk was very nice, a later arrival was no problem. The hot tub was a highlight, as was the fireplace in the living room. Very good and many seating, comfortable couch and comfortable beds. Every now and then we came to visit cats, next door is a kind of barn with catering. All in all a very nice house and definitely recommendable.

We spent a week with 6 adults, 4 kids, two dogs and a baby, the children enjoyed the playground and the animals. it is a fantastic house, huge, cozy and comfortable. Lovely sitting in the hot tub. Games played at the large dining table. If we may give a point of criticism, the dining room chairs make a lot of noise and are a bit rickety. It is a wonderful holiday home with all comfort and convenience and certainly worth repeating.

The house was perfect, beautiful living kitchen, whirlpool, etc. However, the cooperation of Belvilla to rebook our first chosen house in connection with corona (house in code orange area) to a house in code yellow area was not really customer friendly. in the end only paid the rebooking costs (50% of the rental price). Information on the website is unclear about this and Bellvilla is hardly accessible by telephone.

A top property with all conceivable amenities. Part of children's farm den Ast, a fantastic place for young children. Along the house is a pure swimming pond, and to complete the holiday feeling the jacuzzi is always at the right temperature.
