This bright 52 m² penthouse with a very private 18 m² panoramic terrace and fantastic sea views is located in the quiet, flower-filled resort of San Juan de Capistrano - on the hillside directly above Nerja's centre.
The complex includes a fantastically beautiful and large pool landscape, which is exclusively available to the residents. With a rock island, waterfalls, lawned sunbathing areas, toddlers' pool and 2 pool restaurants.
In addition to the 18 m² large, secluded south-facing terrace with a fantastic sea view, the holiday flat also offers 2 flat-screen TVs with all German ASTRA channels and a Netflix account via a smart TV FireTV stick, which we have already paid for.
The very upscale equipment includes furthermore Wlan-Internet with unlimited flatrate free of charge in the flat

The 3rd and 4th person sleep on the approx. 145x200 cm sofa bed, which is of good quality and does not 'sag' etc..
The large sun terrace faces south and offers a wonderful 180° panoramic sea view. The flat is in an idyllic location, directly on a green square with a pine tree and natural stone tower in sight. The nearest road is 60 m away. You can go nudist or sunbathe topless on the secluded terrace at the back.
The parking situation is good. The flat is also not far from the beautiful pool area.
The complex has its own small supermarket approx. between 20 March and 20 November, otherwise 2 minutes by car down the slope. The beautiful large pool with sea view and 4 restaurants/bars are open approx. between Easter and 31 October. One restaurant is open most of the year.

Your penthouse holiday flat is located in the San Juan de Capistrano complex, which looks like a naturally grown Andalusian white village, but was built that way by ingenious architects 30 years ago. The complex is very well maintained and does not show its age. On the other hand, the Mediterranean gardens are naturally overgrown and impress with huge palm trees, desert-like plants, gum trees as tall as houses, tall bougainvilleas, etc.
Built in the Moorish terraced style, this complex is Nerja's uppermost district with far-reaching views over the centre and the entire Mediterranean Sea as far as the eye can see. Picturesque paths with Mediterranean gardens invite you to take wonderful walks every day. The large lake-like pool landscape with rock island, small waterfalls and grassy sunbathing areas is a meeting place for young and old.
2 pool bars cater for small and large physical well-being. Security guards give you an additional feeling of safety that is not at all necessary. Numerous gardeners tend the tropical and Mediterranean gardens daily.
A tennis court is located at the foot of the Capistrano hill, about 2 minutes by car or a sporty 10 minutes walk, coaching lessons are available. The pool area is about 150 m from your holiday flat, as is the small supermarket, open between March and the end of October. Other larger supermarkets with huge car parks can be reached in 2 minutes by car. Nerja is a very atmospheric and beautiful place, probably the most beautiful seaside resort on the coast east of Malaga. It is also called the 'Marbella of the eastern Costa del Sol'. With 5 beaches, it's a great place to sunbathe and spend your beach holiday. Of course, if the mood takes you, you can always combine this with lots of culture and excursions, for example to the Alhambra and Granada, Malaga etc. Nerja itself offers a very famous excursion destination, the large stalactite caves in the east of the town, near Maro.
The advantage of this side of the sunny coast is that it is not as overdeveloped as the area between Torremolinos and Marbella/Estepona. You discover a more original Andalusia.
The hinterland is also delightful and, of course, very rich in history.
Trips to the Alhambra, Granada, Cordoba, Seville and, in winter, the Sierra Nevada can be made within 1.5 to 2 hours. Nerja invites you to its beautiful old town, which borders directly on the Balcon de Europa, a viewing platform towards Africa.

If required, we can provide a baby cot and a high chair. For the older children, the 2nd TV in the bedroom is certainly an advantage. And also the smart TV stick in the living room with Netflix and media libraries is certainly pleasant.
