Dreamlike break from everyday life

Rarely have we had a vacation rental that was so lovingly and completely furnished- every convenience was thought of, so we immediately felt very comfortable. There were also comfortable chairs on the terrace and sun loungers with thick cushions in the garden. The view over Lake Maggiore is incomparable, the tranquility that surrounds you here immediately switches us to vacation mode. It was a pure break from everyday life for us through peace and relaxation. Bettina and Andrea are always there when you need them, but they never impose themselves. Thank you again for this. The journey is a bit adventurous, but you get used to it, and in return you are nicely off the hustle and bustle of tourism.

Absolutely perfect conditions for a wonderfully relaxing stay

The house is very tastefully furnished with absolutely everything - everything is new, everything in top condition and very clean.
Not only the cottages, the whole property is simply wonderful, everything fits here, it seems as if it couldn't be any other way. You can feel the enthusiasm with which a paradise was created here from the dilapidated houses, and it is a great joy to simply enjoy it. Nothing is missing and it is simply very, very beautiful. Of course, there is plenty to see in the area, but simply sitting in the park, looking at the lake, listening to the birds, enjoying the peace and smelling the different scents is also wonderful...
Thank you very much Bettina and Andrea for allowing us to be your guests.

Dream holiday at Cascina Borchina

On arrival at Cascina Borchina, we were warmly welcomed by our landlady Bettina and shown around the flat "SOLE" and the extensive, very well-kept garden. What awaited us, however, was more breathtaking than on the photos posted! From both terraces of the flat "SOLE", which are equipped with table, chairs, sunbeds and awnings, you can enjoy a dreamlike and unforgettable view of Lake Maggiore. The flat is very lovingly and tastefully furnished with high-quality furniture and offers every comfort guests could wish for, as does the fully equipped, luxurious kitchen. From the dishwasher, to numerous dishes, pots and cutlery, to the toaster and iron, you will find absolutely everything. It is important to the very warm landlords Bettina and Andrea that their guests want for nothing and feel comfortable during their holiday. Although Bettina and Andrea also live in Cascina Borchina, they are very discreet and respect the privacy of their guests. Not to forget the bread service, many thanks to Anna! We can highly recommend a holiday at Cascina Borchina and are already looking forward to our next stay. In short: 5+++++ stars from us for this dream flat with a dream view! Flat "Sole

In search of a relaxing holiday, we stumbled across Cascina Borchina
Due to the very appealing pictures of the view, the flat and the available space, we booked the flat "Sole"
The contact with Bettina, the hostess and her husband Andrea, in the run-up to our trip was established quickly and was very friendly.
We were also sent all the important information, directions and the rental contract.
After a somewhat bumpy and narrow approach, via a dirt road, to the property, we were warmly welcomed by Bettina and, after a short tour of the property, brought to our flat (including a bottle of red wine as a welcome).
The flat is fully equipped and left us wanting for nothing during our entire holiday. The mixture of partly almost antique pieces of furniture in connection with natural stone floors and marble is of course a matter of taste, but due to the loving composition and the eye for detail it immediately put us in a holiday mood and we felt very comfortable from the beginning
For travellers who have not made a concrete plan for activities, hikes, etc. in advance, there is a complete folder with brochures, hiking trails, recommendations for restaurants and excursion destinations to browse through. Bettina was always available to answer our questions during the entire holiday.
But now for the best part - the view!
As you can see from the pictures, there is a breathtaking view of Lake Maggiore from the terrace, but also from all the other flats.
We couldn't get enough of it while having breakfast or at the end of the evening! The absolutely quiet location also contributes to this, as the property is on the mountain and there is no other house in sight all around.
For these reasons and the nice contact with Bettina, we will come again.

Dream holiday on Lake Maggiore

We had an unforgettably beautiful girls' holiday at Cascina Borchina with Bettina and Andrea. It was our very first time on Lake Maggiore, but certainly not our last. The view of the lake from our accommodation left us speechless on arrival. Simply paradisiacal! The Sole flat we booked leaves nothing to be desired. You immediately notice that everything has been furnished with love and passion and that a lot of importance is attached to cleanliness. We really enjoyed Anna's bread service. The hosts Bettina and Andrea are very warm and friendly and the well-being of their guests always comes first. We will definitely come again. Thank you Bettina and Andrea!

Traumhafter Seeblick

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gelegen und bietet einen traumhaften Blick über den ganzen See. Von morgens bis zum Sonnenuntergang, kann man die Ruhe genießen und den Lauf der Sonne verfolgen.
Lesen, faulenzen, schlafen und von dort aus in die Berge wandern ist alles möglich. Bettina und Andrea sind aller herzlichste, liebenswürdige Gastgeber und haben mit viel Geschmack ein wunderschönes Anwesen geschaffen. Ich war schon dreimal da und werde wiederkommen.

Es war wunderschön bei Euch! Die Aussicht auf den Lago ist einfach einzigartig. Das Haus, die gesamte Anlage, die Einrichtung ist stilvoll, blitzsauber und voller liebenswerter Details. Bettina + Andrea sind ebenso präsent wie „diskret“. Wir hatten das Gefühl, uns bei Freunden aufzuhalten. Vielen Dank dafür, dass wir die Alben durchschauen durften und so nachvollziehen konnten, wie viel Arbeit, Visionen, Begeisterung, Beharrlichkeit und sicher auch Investment erforderlich waren, Euch und Euren Gästen einen so wundervollen Ort zu schaffen. Das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen, der Blick unbeschreiblich schön, die Wohnung (Sole) stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen könnte.
Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich - wir haben uns unendlich wohl gefühlt.

Atemberaubende Aussicht

Für uns ist die Gastfreundschaft sehr wichtig. Bettina als Gastgeberin ist sehr sorgfältig und ihre offene und unkomplizierte Art haben uns ein gutes Gefühl vermittelt. Ein Beispiel: Am Abreisetag hat es sehr stark geregnet. Die Strassen waren zum Teil überflutet. Bettina hat uns erst wegfahren lassen, nachdem Sie die Strecke nach Maccagno vorher persönlich mit dem Auto abgefahren ist.
Wir verreisen gerne an schöne Orte. Atemberaubende Landschaften bevorzugen wir besonders. Das Cascina Borchina gehört nun definitiv dazu.
Übrigens finden wir das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis gut.

Eine unvergessliche Woche!

Die Unterkunft entspricht zu 100% den Fotos aus dem Internet. Wir waren in der Wohnung SOLE untergebracht, die sehr hübsch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet ist. Bettina und Andrea sind sehr gastfreundlich und geben Tipps und Vorschläge für das Erkunden der Umgebung. Das allerbeste ist neben der Sauberkeit der Wohnung und der Lage des Grundstücks der unvergessliche Blick auf den Lago Maggiore! Eine phantastische Aussicht, die ihresgleichen sucht. Die Terrasse wird von morgens bis abends von der Sonne beschienen.
Die Anfahrt zum Grundstück ist ein wenig steil, aber für Jeden machbar.

Fazit: Cascina Borchina ist auf jeden Fall ein Juwel für einen tollen Aufenthalt in jeder Beziehung!

Ruhe, Erholung und ein atemberaubender Ausblick!

Wir haben zwei sehr erholsame Wochen in der Ferienwohnung Sole in der Cassina Borchina verbracht. Nach einer etwas abenteuerlichen Anfahrt (man gewöhnt sich daran ;-)) wird man von einem unglaublich schönen Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore empfangen. Dem ganzen Anwesen merkt man an, dass sich Bettina und Andrea hier einen Lebenstraum verwirklicht haben - alles mit viel, viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und gestaltet - wunderschön. Für Natur Liebhaber und Ruhesuchende der ideale Platz zum ausspannen.

Es war einfach nur wunderbar

Nach einer etwas abenteuerlichen Anfahrt durch den Wald waren wir am Ende des Weges einfach nur noch sprachlos über diesen wunderbaren Blick auf den Lago Maggiore und das wunderbare Anwesen von Bettina und Andrea. Schon bei der Begrüßung haben wir uns sofort wohl- und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr stilvoll und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, falls was fehlen würde, würden Bettina und Andrea alles tun um es perfekt zu machen.
Der Fackelabend mit dem tollen Ausblick nicht zu vergessen. Für alle Naturliebhaber und Ruhe suchenden die perfekte Oase!

ankommen-staunen-wohlfühlen-nicht mehr weg wollen

So können wir für uns die herrlichen Urlaubstage bei Bettina und Andrea auf den Punkt bringen.
Das Ankommen ist in jeder Hinsicht nicht alltäglich - nach den ersten gefahrenen Metern auf der Zufahrt ist es klar. Hier wartet etwas ganz besonderes auf uns.
Aus dem Staunen kommen wir dann nicht mehr heraus als wir unten angekommen sind und uns von Bettina und Andrea die Wohnung und das Gelände gezeigt wird. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll, wertig und detailreich eingrichtet. Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Der direkte Blick auf den Lago Maggiore aus der gesamten Wohnung ist traumhaft. Nicht schlecht gestaunt haben wir als wir gehört haben, dass Andrea und Bettina die gesamten Anlage, mit den unzähligen Natursteinmauern, verträumten Winkeln und vielen Hinguckern selbst geplant und gebaut haben. Die Beiden haben einen ganz besonderen Ort geschaffen, an dem wir uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute wohlgefühlt haben. Ein Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung, um sich dem Besonderen der Urlaubstage bewusst zu werden, und gleichzeitig war der Ort für uns idealer Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen rund um den Lago Maggiore. Das alles und die Herzlichkeit von Bettina und Andrea haben den Abschied nicht leicht gemacht.

A week in paradise

We (a couple from Bremen, aged 50 and 57) had an unforgettable week in this wonderful flat. The great journey alone is indescribable. The location is so fantastic, words can hardly describe it. We couldn't find the road and had to ask the landlords for help. We were picked up at the road and received a friendly welcome right away. We then drove behind in the car and were more than rewarded. What a great way to get there and then the breathtaking view!!! The property, the house, the flat - everything beautiful. Very well maintained and clean. We felt so comfortable (we would have preferred never to leave this place again). The flat is very lovingly furnished, the kitchen invites you to cook, everything is there, even the knives are excellent. A big thank you to the owners (Bettina and Andrea) who always have an open ear for their guests' concerns. Thank you also for the beautiful last evening with you on the terrace with wine and grappa and nice conversations. We are already looking forward to seeing you again. Riccarda and Wolfgang

An oasis of relaxation

You don't really know where to start. We spent our holiday from 9.09 to 22.09.2018 in the holiday flat Sole. The flat is very tastefully and elegantly furnished, nothing was missing. The photos on the websites are already impressive, but when you are on site, it is just incredible. Usually it is the other way round that the photos are deceptive. The view, the peace and quiet are fantastic. Bettina and Andrea are such warm hosts who are always there to help and advise, be it with tips for restaurants, hikes, excursions, etc.. They are always present, but still discreet. Due to the small number of holiday guests, everyone is on their own, but you are still a community. That is also the concept of Bettina and Andrea and that is exactly right. Keep up the good work. We could write a lot more, but you have to experience the impressions and the hosts in person.
It's a pity that there are no 10 stars!
We have booked again for next year directly on site. There is still so much to discover.

"Lebensrettung" - Pannenhilfe - Erholung pur

Als Paar Ende 50 sind wir das 1.ste Mal zu Gast bei Bettina und Andrea. Begrüßung: Wespenstich im Hals, Andrea tel. / Bettina machte "Alarm" im Krankenhaus Luino - alles gut. Platten am Motorrad: Kumpel von Andrea bot bei Anruf Hilfestellung, Andrea zog mit dem Reifen los - 1 Std. später - alles gut... und dennoch...Entspannung pur - Region, Klima - top! Aussicht, Lage, Ausstattung, Freundlichkeit etc. - hier liegt die Messlatte ziemlich hoch. Uns haben insbesondere auch die Dinge begeistert, wo man näher hinschauen sollte; 1000-de Ideen, die perfekt umgesetzt wurden, mit so viel Liebe im Detail, mit Leidenschaft, Durchhaltevermögen; die Harmonie der verbauten Materialien, das Anwesen in der gesamten Bausubstanz und natürlich...Bettina und Andrea, DANKE für die Zeit mit Euch - 2019 kommt bald :-)

Traumhaft

Wir können diese Unterkunft von ganzem Herzen vollstens empfehlen-es ist unglaublich, was Tina und Andrea (Gastgeber) in den Bergen mit einem gigantischen Seeblick auf den Lago Maggiore erschaffen haben. Das Haus, die Ausstattung, der Seeblick-einfach nur traumhaft. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und herzlich, so dass wir uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt haben und auf jeden Fall wiederkommen werden. Es gibt insgesamt 4 Mietwohnungen und es ist ein schönes Miteinander mit Allen gewesen. Jeder war für sich und trotzdem gefühlt eine tolle Gemeinschaft, was nicht zuletzt der offenen und warmherzigen Art von Tina zu verdanken ist.
Es ist wirklich ein schönes Plätzchen auf dieser Erde und in jedem Detail steckt viel Liebe-das spürt man direkt!!! Danke für die tolle Zeit bei euch - wir haben sehr gut entspannen und abschalten können. Maccagnio ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Touren rund um den See-es geht sehr beschaulich in diesem Ort und insgesamt an der Ostküste zu, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen und Glücksmomenten im Gepäck sind wir nun zurück in Deutschland und denken gerne an die Zeit zurück!!!

Fantastic finca

The pictures on the internet do not promise too much, but in reality they surpass the presentation. We spent two weeks in July in the Sole flat in this wonderful finca. The finca is a dream
Everywhere you look you can see that the owners have put a lot of heart and soul into the construction of this complex, which was built almost exclusively from natural materials. Even the reception and the briefing, as well as the local support by Bettina was simply nice and very warm.
The flat lacks nothing, and the bathroom with its large marble shower deserves special mention. The finca is located in the mountains of Maccagno, certainly with one of the best lake views ever. There is plenty of sun all year round, all day long. Not to be left unmentioned is the heavenly silence, from morning to evening. Peace and privacy are guaranteed.
The way to Maccagno on foot is sweaty, we found it a bit difficult on the first day, after that it was just a bit more sport.
Fortunately, we also had fantastic weather, so we were able to enjoy the dream lake view while having breakfast in the morning, which alone ensures relaxation.
The terrace invites you to sit with candlelight and a good glass of wine (organic wine from Andrea) and limocello until late at night.
The contact with the landlords is extremely friendly, everything fits here.
We are very happy to have met Bettina and Andrea, we would have preferred not to leave at all, but have already booked again for 2018.
Five stars are more than justified here, and we'll give it an extra one. We can unreservedly recommend the Finca Cascina Borchina Sole country estate.

Einzigartig

Das Cascina Borchina befindet sich abseits der Fahrstraße am Ende eines befahrbaren Waldweges, in gänzlicher Alleinlage ca. 200 m oberhalb des Sees mit einem atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. Die kleine Finca besteht, neben dem Haupthaus der Besitzer, aus einem Ferienhaus, und Appartements in Form von zwei nebeneinander stehenden Natursteinhäusern. Wir verbrachten im Appartment „Sole“ fünf Tage an diesem tollen Ort mit traumhaften Seeblick. Selbst vom Bett aus durften wir uns dieses Anblicks erfreuen. Die Finca ist äußerst liebevoll eingerichtet. Hier steckt Herzblut in jedem einzelnen Stein und jedem kleinen Detail. In den wundervoll hergerichteten Steinhäusern sind überwiegend Naturmaterialien verarbeitet, die Einrichtung modern in Kombination mit individuellen alten Einzelobjekten. Die Ausstattung komplett. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet mit Geräten. Besteck, Töpfe, Geschirr ist alles vorhanden. Im schönen Bad mit Marmorfließen und Natursteinwaschbecken durfte der Fön nicht fehlen. Terrassenmöbel zum gemütlich draußen sitzen inklusive eigener Sonnenliegen. Dazu die wunderschön angelegte Gartenanlage mit Aussichtsplateau vor den Häusern, Grillplatz, Trockenmauerterrassen, mit vielerlei mediterranen Kräutern zur frischen Nutzung. Handtücher und WLAN haben wir hinzugebucht (auf Bezahlung). Die Finca ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Radtouren in die umgebende Bergwelt. Super für Aktivurlauber.

Die Gastgeber Bettina und ihr Mann Andrea haben all dies in Handarbeit und mit viel Geschmack aufgebaut. Noch ist nicht alles komplett fertig, von daher kann man gespannt sein, wie alles noch weiter aufgewertet wird die nächsten Jahre. Beide sind unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam. Geben Tipps für Ausflüge und zu den kulinarischen Schätzen der Region. Alles mit Freiraum und Privatsphäre auf der Anlage. Wir haben uns sofort Willkommen und Zuhause gefühlt.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir haben hier wundervolle 10 tage verbracht, die leider viel zu schnell vorbei waren. Die Lage und dieser atemberaubene Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore sind unübertrefflich. Die Finca ist sehr geschmack,- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt hier an nichts. Sogar vom Bett aus hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf den Lago. Die Eigentümer Andrea und Bettina sind super nett und Gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns hier sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Man spürt das Herzblut mit dem die beiden dieses wunderbare Domizil erschaffen haben. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall bald wieder.

Eine absolut weiter zu empfehlende Finca

Eine absolut weiter zu empfehlende Finca inmitten einer unberührten Natur. Wir verbrachten in diesem schönen Apartment "Sole" mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf dem Lago Maggiore und den Städten, einen wundervollen Urlaub.
Das Cascina Borchina befindet sich am Ende eines befahrbaren Weges, abseits und unterhalb der "Hauptstrasse" in gefühlter Alleinlage mit Traumblick auf dem Lago Maggiore. Die liebevollen renovierten Steinhäuser sind äußerst geschmackvoll und wohldurchdacht mit natürlichen Materialien eingerichtet.
Die Ausstattung ist mehr als top und alles ist sauber. Hier fehlt wirklich an nichts - angefangen von exklusiven Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfen und sonstigen Küchenutensilien über Föhn und Handtücher (auf Bezahlung) bis hin zu Sonnenliegen mit dicken Auflagen, Terassenmöbeln, Wäscheständer etc.
Die Marmordusche mit Steinboden….. der Wahnsinn :-)

Der Ort ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und für Radfahrer.

Bettina ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin, die uns Privatsphäre ließ und bei Bedarf tolle Tipps für Ausflüge für uns parat hatte. Man merkt, dass die Besitzer Ihre "Arbeit" mit Leidenschaft tut und wir hoffen, dass dies alle Mieter auch zu schätzen wissen.
Bettina und ihr Mann Andrea haben die für uns neue Urlaubsregion zu einem Erlebnis mit sehr vielen und schönen Eindrücken werden lassen. Dank ihrer Empfehlungen haben wir Land,Leute,Ausflugsziele und kulinarische Genüsse optimal kennengelernt.

Wir kommen sicher wieder! Danke nochmals für den schönen Urlaub.
