The complex is idyllically located in the middle of a nature reserve in the hills and lakes of West Mecklenburg. It is only 18 kilometers to Schwerin - so you can also benefit from the state capital's varied shopping and cultural offerings. The seven kilometer long Dümmer Lake is a great area for anglers and, due to its good water quality and flat sandy beach, it is also a wonderful swimming lake - even for the smallest holiday home guests.

Activities nearby: The Dümmer Lake region is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also the perfect starting point for trips to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. Swimming on the shallow, child-friendly beach and from the jetty at Lake Dümmer is possible, as well as boating and fishing tours with the rowing boat. However, the best way to explore the beautiful surroundings is by hiking, cycling or inline skating. An almost 15 km long, first-class cycle path leads directly from Dümmer to Wittenburg, where there is also an adventure park with a climbing garden, all-season ski hall, quad track and go-kart track. The state capital Schwerin with its magnificent castle complex is definitely worth a visit.

We found a wonderful holiday accommodation. With children and for children, the holiday village is suitable with its own beach and water. A boat is available. The apartment is very tastefully furnished and a sauna is available for guests. We had a wonderful time in Dümmer. Thanks to the hosts.

Great holiday home, very nicely furnished. Everything needed for everyday life is available. The garden loungers and the boat that could be used were also great. The view of the lake from the upper balcony was especially beautiful in the morning. Since the terrace is covered, one could sit outside even in the rain. The holiday home is definitely recommended. The only point of criticism was the too soft mattress in the upper left bedroom, but that depends on personal preference. We thank the Scholz family and would book this house again if we should go to the north again. Best regards, L. T.

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in a great location in a fantastic house right on the Dümmersee!! Our family consists of 5 adults and the second living room on the upper floor was wonderful. Being together when we wanted to be, but also having some privacy at certain times. The house is fully equipped and the beds are wonderful. Every morning we started well with a short walk to the bakery for fresh bread rolls. From our accommodation there were 3 beautiful hiking trails, where we could enjoy the natural beauty in all its glory. We also visited the city of Scherwin and admired the wonderful castle. Furthermore, the city of Lübeck and the seaside resort of Boltenhagen are an hour's drive away. It was a wonderful stay for us with something for everyone!

Super gepflegtes, hochwertig, vollständig und sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Die Rundum-Sitzmöglichkeiten auf den Terrassen und dem Balkon mit dem Seeblick haben wir zu jeder Tageszeit sehr genossen. Mit dem Ruderboot kann man bei gutem Wetter den See erkunden. Bei schlechtem Wetter Sauna und Kamin nutzen. Wittenburg mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist schnell erreichbar und Schwerin gut geeignet als Tagesausflugsziel. Dank der ruhigen Lage direkt am See haben wir uns super erholt. Im Sommer gibt es hier Badestellen am See und einen kleinen Strand. Wir danken der Vermieterin auch für die umsichtige Betreuung vorab bei Fragen zur Anreise. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!
