Description
The Ferienhäusle is the former old people's part of the Chirpfendorf farm and has 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with toilet, dining-living area, kitchen and a covered terrace. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, one room with a double bed, one room with 2 single beds. From the master bedroom you can access the walk-in wardrobe. The holiday cottage has approx. 65 sqm of living space, both bedrooms on the upper floor have sloping ceilings, each with a large skylight. Parking spaces are located directly at the house.

When booking 10 nights 65,00 Euro / night
from a booking of 14 nights 60,00 Euro / night

Location and surroundings of object
The Ferienhäusle is located in the district of Heidenheim, belonging to the municipality of Steinheim am Albuch. Küpfendorf is a small hamlet, rural and agricultural in character, surrounded by forest at an altitude of around 630 metres. It was first mentioned in documents in connection with the Neresheim monastery in 1149 AD with the name Chirphendorf, which became the name of our farm.
Much to the delight of the children and cats in the village, there is no through road and all the streets in the village are traffic-calmed. Partly very old, well-kept agricultural estates still characterise the village. People still chat and laugh with each other here, everything is very quiet. Nevertheless, Küpfendorf is quite centrally located. Approx. 30 minutes to Ulm on the beautiful Danube, approx. 30 minutes to Aalen (the city on the Limes), approx. 7 minutes to Heidenheim with Hellenstein Castle and Wildpark and only 5 minutes to the centre of the crater (Steinheim).

The municipality of Steinheim is known worldwide for its location in the middle of a meteor crater basin, which is just over a kilometre away from Küpfendorf. The famous Albschäfer hiking trail leads straight through Küpfendorf into the meteor crater basin.
As if that were not enough, the bizarre dolomite rocks, formed by a former river course, turned a dry valley in the municipal area into the legendary Wental over the centuries. Since 2010, the interactive Wental nature trail has led from Steinheim through the Wental to the Landhotel Wental, which is already in the Essingen district.
Steinheim has a very large forest; the forests in the Steinheim district belong to the Albuch, the largest contiguous forest area in the Swabian Alb. This forest surrounds Küpfendorf. The hamlet's farmsteads and houses are lined up around the village centre with the village lime tree. The village is surrounded by orchards, which turn into meadows and then into fields.

A beautiful, quietly situated holiday home. The house is lovingly furnished, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, very nice and hospitable landlords.
We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our holiday!

Stress ease
We started in NRW and after 493 kilometres we were there
We arrived stressed from work, the Chirphendorf farm was ideal for us
The driven kilometres and the stress disappeared.
We explored town and country.
Eggs, jam, bread rolls and mineral water were ready and helped us for the first time.
