Description
Our beautiful, inviting holiday home was newly renovated in 2021. On the ground floor there is a cosy living-dining room with a large couch that offers space for the whole family and invites you to feel at home. A flat-screen TV, stereo system and Wi-Fi are available. From here you can access the terrace with garden chairs, loungers and barbecue.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle.
On the ground floor there is a daylight bathroom with shower and toilet and a bedroom with double bed (1.80 m wide with two mattresses) and wardrobe.
A new space-saving staircase leads to the upper floor. Here are two more bedrooms. One with 2 single beds (each 90cm wide), the second with a double bed (1,60m wide with one mattress) and a toilet.
It is a detached house on a beautiful 400 m² garden plot with parking space, terrace and large lawn in a quiet location.
1 dog may be possible by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
The picturesque old town of Greetsiel with its harbour, many pretty shops, restaurants, bistros and the twin mills can be reached in a few minutes on foot via the dyke. Also within walking distance is a large playground, an indoor swimming pool with sauna, the National Park House and an Edeka supermarket.

Should you cancel your booking, we will charge the following cancellation fees: 20% of the travel price for cancellations from the time of booking. 30% of the travel price for cancellations up to four weeks before the start of the trip. 50% of the travel price for cancellations up to two weeks before the start of the trip. 100% of the travel price for cancellations from 13 days before the start of the trip. If we are able to rent out the property again, 20% of the original rental fee will be due as a flat-rate cost.

Pure relaxation!
We had 8 very relaxing days at Fischgreetchen. The location directly on the dike is perfect, and the house offers everything you need for a vacation. Restaurants, supermarket, bakery, and the harbor are within walking distance in just a few minutes. A thank you also to the landlords for a smooth process, from the first contact to departure! Even before the binding booking, we were able to discuss all questions in a very nice phone call and found the house as described. We are happy to recommend the house and wish the Schmitt family all the best!

Vacation in Fish Greetchen
The Fischgreetchen offers everything that is also listed on the vacation rental page. It is located quietly, yet everything is easily accessible. Perfect for cyclists. I was in good and quick contact with the owners for any questions. 3 weeks of pure relaxation.

Everything was great.
We were in Greetsiel for the first time and we would always love to come back. The house was really great with the beautiful location and the position of the terrace was also great so that we could sit outside nicely. The furnishings were also super, everything we needed was there. And the landlord was also very nice when we had a question.

East Frisia: a wonderful land
Otto is a "... Frisian child and lives right behind the dike...".
We definitely wanted to take a look at this land. If you love wind, endless expanses, fish dishes, Jever Pils, and cycling, this is the perfect place for you.
Greetsiel is a dreamlike little place and offers exactly the charm that a tourist desires. Not quite cheap in the high season and sometimes quite crowded. Apart from that, it's a gem.
The fish market fits perfectly into the picture here. A cozy little house in the typical East Frisian style with a huge garden, located very far from the hustle and bustle. We had a dog with us; he immediately accepted the house and garden as his territory and loved to watch the garden and accompany all the passing tourists and dogs, wagging his tail at the fence.
For dog lovers, the Fischgreetchen is highly recommended. However, the place and the area are very strict regarding the handling of dogs. Leash laws are almost everywhere, and with dogs, you can only partially access a beach!
But apart from that, we had a super nice time in East Frisia, in Greetsiel and in Fischgreetchen. Would love to do it again!

Beautiful holiday home!
We spent a week in the autumn at the Fischgreetchen holiday home. The house is very charming and was renovated this year. Everything is in good condition and we felt very comfortable there. There is everything you need for your daily needs. The holiday home is very well located: it is in a quiet residential area and you can walk to the dyke in a minute and enjoy the great nature directly. The village centre and the nearest shopping facilities are about 10 minutes away on foot.
We would love to come back again!
