We spent our annual autumn vacation at Haus Siebenschläfer with our little one (8 months old) and parents as well as in-laws. It was absolutely wonderful! We felt at home right from the start: everything is available. From an incredible amount of toys, shower gels, bed linen, towels, dishwashing liquid, hand creams, tissue box dispensers... simply everything that you have missed in many vacation rentals. The furnishings have been done with great attention to detail and are cozy. The kitchen is very generously equipped, there is really nothing missing. Even drinking straws are available, as well as an egg timer, proper cutlery and dishes that you could use for days without washing (which is anyway done by one of the two dishwashers). On rainy days, you won't get bored: you can choose from numerous books and games.
The garden is also incredibly lovingly arranged: no matter the weather, you will find a seating option for every weather! And the slide from the terrace into the garden is not only fun for the little ones.
There is a lot to discover, it is worth it in every way, after all, the surroundings are also not to be underestimated ;).

A dream week for three generations in a wonderful holiday home

The house and property/garden left nothing to be desired for us, everything very lovingly and perfectly designed for us grandparents/parents/grandchildren and completely equipped in terms of quality and quantity (kitchen, common room, toys, literature, music, TV/video...), especially also for the needs of toddlers. Preparations and communication with the landlords were very pleasant! Wonderful location with a view of the lake, direct proximity to playgrounds and restaurants. The excursion boat honks loudly, the church bells ring every quarter hour, the cobblestone pavement is unmistakable. But for us, these were all minor details. Overall, the house is highly recommended, we would book it again immediately!

Great house at Lake Brombach.

We really enjoyed our autumn vacation here. The house is simply beautiful. Lovingly, modernly, and specially furnished down to the smallest detail. We felt very comfortable and didn't miss a thing. The location is unique. Perfect view of the lake. It must be great in the summer to have breakfast on the terrace. We had the whole house for 4 people and only used the "upper part". Two adults and 3 children can easily fit there. The granny flat is separate and can actually be used for grandma and grandpa or friends. We will gladly come again!

Super lovingly, thoughtfully, and tastefully furnished house

The house is located 5 minutes on foot and 2 minutes by bike from Lake Brombach and has a wonderful view of the lake. The beach is also reachable within minutes. The landlords are very friendly. The house is decorated very tastefully, lovingly, and thoughtfully. Everything can be found in the house that one can imagine, including a go-kart, a handcart, a grill, etc., but also a fully stocked playroom filled with games, books, puzzles, Playmobil, a toy kitchen, etc. We had rented the house together with grandparents. We had received a warm recommendation from friends and can only do the same.

Vacanza

We stayed at Birgit's house for almost a week. Our stay was wonderful, both for the beautiful places in the surroundings and for the comfort of the house. In less than an hour by car, you can reach many beautiful cities, both small and large, like Nuremberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Weissenburg, Spalt, and many others. The house is very spacious, well-furnished, and fully equipped. If you think of something you need, look for it because you will definitely find it! The house was well heated, meticulously cared for, and full of games (a true paradise for children!). Our children did not want to leave the house as they had created their 'playroom' in the living room. Birgit was very kind. She welcomed us with a beautiful smile upon arrival and was always available during our stay to give us advice on places to visit, restaurants, etc. We were really pleased and were very sad to leave. Oh, I forgot, the view of the lake is also splendid! We will never stop thanking Birgit for the wonderful vacation we had! We spent a little less than a week in Birgit's home. Our stay was wonderful because of the beautiful places nearby and the comfort of the house. In less than an hour, you can reach many small and large towns like Nuremberg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Weißenburg, Spalt, and others. The house is very spacious, nicely furnished, and extremely well-equipped. If you think of something you need, just look for it because you're sure to find it! The house was warm and filled with toys (a true paradise for children!). It was a challenge to convince our sons to leave the house during the day because they turned the living room into their 'playroom'. Birgit was very, very kind. She greeted us upon arrival with a big smile and was always available via WhatsApp, providing us with various information on places to visit, restaurants, etc. We were extremely pleased.

A lovely little house.

For two weeks, my wife, child, and I stayed at the Siebenschläferhaus at Brombachsee. Admittedly, the house is a bit too big for 3 people since it essentially consists of two vacation apartments in one house. However, we were expecting two visits from 2-person groups and one visit from a 5-person group, so we made good use of the space. The division into two apartments has the advantage of having two bathrooms with toilets and two kitchens, allowing everything to be well distributed throughout the house. We used one apartment as a common area or for our guests and the other (smaller one) for ourselves. This way, our daughter could sleep downstairs while the adults could enjoy themselves upstairs. Everything is decorated with great attention to detail, yet functional, and you always find what you are looking for. Dishwasher, stove, microwave, dishes for every occasion, grill, TV, radios, washer/dryer. Everywhere you find small shelves with books, newspapers, or audio plays. In the rooftop lounge, you can relax and look out over the lake or spend afternoons playing games with the kids. The hosts have turned the house into a true children's paradise. Games, books, and more games and books. By the way, you can enjoy a view of the lake from the garden, first floor, and second floor. A dream. And if you want to do more than just look at the lake, but also dip your feet in, you can be in the water in less than 10 minutes. Three parking spaces are available in front of the house. A bakery is 100 meters down the street.
Please continue like this. Super holiday location! !

A very beautiful, very clean holiday home to feel comfortable. Ideal for family gatherings, although it is spread over 3 floors, so one must be good on foot. Plenty of toys and books, so even in bad weather, boredom should not arise. We enjoyed our stay.

3-generation spring vacation

We spent a wonderful week at the Siebenschläfer holiday home during Pentecost 2016. With 5 adults and a toddler, we rented the entire house (both apartments). The house is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and the amenities leave nothing to be desired. Especially when traveling with children, you will find a huge selection of equipment (crib, step stool for the washbasin, high chairs, etc.) and toys (Duplo, Playmobil - castle, pirate ship, games & books for all age groups). Our son was particularly thrilled by the well-equipped play kitchen and the view of the lake through the panoramic window. The spacious outdoor area with a newly landscaped terrace garden including a huge tube slide was very appealing to us. Outside and in the shed, everything you can think of was available: loungers, barbecue area with a large covered dining table, playhouse with sand toys, swing, trampoline, tandem bike, trolley, Bobby Car... The location of the house is very central in Ramsberg: in close walking distance there are various restaurants with delicious Franconian food, a bakery, and a bike rental. The pier of the MS Brombachsee is about 200m away, and the wide sandy beach "Die Bucht" is about 500m away. We had a completely wonderful family vacation at Siebenschläfer, and we enjoyed it so much that we've already booked again for next year.

Anytime again!

It was simply delightful! We have a young son and couldn't go out in the evenings because of that, but that was not a problem, as we simply enjoyed our evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony with the splendid view of the lake and sunset! During the day, we cycled around the lakes a lot; it's just a stone's throw from the holiday apartment to the lake. It was pure relaxation for all of us, and we are already thinking about when we will come back again. :)

Autumn Short Break

From the very first moment, we felt at home. The children hurried ahead and didn't want to be anywhere else for a single minute. Especially the many toys made them reluctant to leave even for the Playmobil Funpark. The entire facility and equipment show so much attention to detail and are so well thought out that us parents didn't miss anything at all. Especially the short distances for the little kids to the bakery and the beach were very pleasant. It was very nice, and next time we will come for a week.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Auusicht auf den See ist ein Traum, wir konnten uns nicht sattsehen. Die kurzen Wege zum Bäcker, Schiff, Strand, Fahrradverleih - besser geht es nicht.

free time activities: Eigentlich braucht man mit Kindern, die Wasser und Sand mögen, nichts mehr als den Bollerwagen mit Sopielzeug aus dem Schuppen und gutes Wetter.

shopping facilities: Gleich daneben ist der Bäcker, bei dem auch noch Kaffee, Butter, Getränke und Eis für den Notfall eingekauft werden kann. Für mehr ist ein Auto nötig, ist aber auch sehr nah.

Very nice holiday home at "Großer Brombachsee"

We spent a few days in this beautiful holiday home. The upper apartment with a great living/game gallery was our domicile. Our children were already thrilled with the many toys (Playmobil, puzzles, and board games), books, and DVDs upon arrival. We were welcomed with jam, chocolate, and wine. The kitchen is very well equipped. The floors are of very high quality, and the bathroom has underfloor heating, which is very pleasant. The bedrooms are somewhat small, but sufficient for sleeping. The view from the dining area and balcony is excellent. We felt very comfortable staying with you, thank you very much!

Dreamy view - guaranteed!

Lake Brombach addicts, travel period: August 2013

Our large family (8 people) has already been to Lake Brombach for the "10th" time. This time we stayed in Ramsberg in the holiday home "Siebenschläfer."
Ideal for parents with young children. Lots of toys, games, books, CDs, DVDs, in the small garden: swing, sandbox, everything you need.
Superbly furnished house, great view.
But unfortunately, there is one criticism, for which the Kaiser family is not at fault:
Impossible to sleep in! Already at 5 o'clock in the morning, one is awoken by loud church bells from the church across the street. After that, the unnecessary ringing continues every 15 minutes throughout the day until 10 pm. Furthermore, the house is located on the heavily trafficked main street of Ramsberg, which is paved with cobblestones. As a result, every car can be heard loudly! As mentioned, great view, beautifully furnished, bike paths, bakery, bank, and various dining options right outside the door. If this noise does not really bother you, the "Siebenschläfer" house is highly recommended!

Charming house in great location

...that was pure relaxation!
The house is equipped with everything you need for a nice vacation. Even cooking was enjoyable. The collection of toys will surely delight children of all ages. Thanks to the nearby swimming spot, we managed well during the record hot weekend. But the best part was the evenings on the balcony with a view of Lake Brombach.

Baltic Sea atmosphere guaranteed!

Our family was already the 2nd time in this super-furnished holiday home. The landlords of the house, the Kaiser family, are very nice and a warm welcome is guaranteed. Nothing is missing; you can safely leave children's toys at home because everything can be found on-site. For Ikea fans, it's double relaxation because the entire house is furnished in a "Swedish" style. The way to the lake is a stone's throw away, and everywhere you can find sandy beaches that can be reached by bike or on foot. We were definitely not there for the last time, as I said, a holiday with Baltic Sea charm!

Great holiday house

This was a wonderful holiday house that exceeded expectations in size and equipment based on the description. It was the most well-equipped property I have stayed in. The owner made sure everything was perfect, and the property was immaculately clean with all amenities in working order. The location was idyllic, just a 2-minute walk from the lake, surrounded by a path, ferry, and cafes/bars. Would definitely recommend, and we hope to visit again as soon as we are able.

Not our holiday destination for the last time ...

We stayed at the Ferienhaus Siebenschläfer for the second time after 2012 and were completely satisfied again. The house lacks nothing, especially the equipment for children and the play opportunities are unbeatable. Here you really only need to pack clothes because toys, numerous children's and adult books, towels, complete kitchen equipment, TV+DVD+DVDs, large hairdryer, combined washer-dryer, complete tool set, books/maps about the area, grill, swings, trolley, Bobby-Car, pedal car, sandbox+toys, playhouse in the garden, etc. are available!

The house is very nicely modern and furnished with great attention to detail. The location is amazing: bakery, lake, various dining options, bike rental, savings bank within a maximum of 2 minutes walk.

Unfortunately, this time the weather in the evenings did not allow us to use the covered outdoor seating. We enjoyed sitting here a lot last year. However, even from the dining table and balcony in the upper apartment, you have a great lake panorama.

Last year, we were here with two families (4 adults and 4 children) and this year with 3 couples and a total of 3 children. At the dining table, you have to squeeze in a bit, but that was no problem for us. Tip: Better to pack a little less and use the washer-dryer on-site instead.

The only thing we would still wish for is an internet connection with Wi-Fi to search for leisure activities, opening hours, etc.

free time activities: Brombachsee und Umgebung sind perfekt zum Baden und Radfahren!!!
Der abwechslungsreiche Weg um die Seen hat ein paar Steigungen aber das hat uns gerade gut gefallen. Sehr gute Wege, meist Waldwege, seit diesem Jahr teilweise geteert, somit Passagen auch für Skater geeignet.
Mehrere schöne Sandstrände mit Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder rund um den See verteilt. Der nächste in 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß.

shopping facilities: Bäcker zwei Häuser weiter, mehrere Supermärkte und Getränkemarkt mit dem Auto in 10 Min. erreichbar.

Beautiful winter stay at the Dormouse Mountain Lodge

We spent wonderful days at Siebenschläfer in the midst of a snowy landscape. The house is well equipped, and everything has been thought of! Our son felt very comfortable and could discover something new every day since many books, board games, and toys are provided. Additionally, we were loaned a sled, so we could enjoy beautiful walks in the snow. We will definitely come back, maybe next time during a warmer season, so that we can also use the outdoor area and especially the lake. However, it is recommendable to visit in winter as well.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Wir hatten das Glück eine schneebedeckte Winterlandschaft vorzufinden, welche zu schönen Schneewanderungen einlud. Das Haus liegt direkt am See, so dass man vom Esstisch aus einen tollen Blick auf den See genießen kann.

free time activities: Es gibt viele kleine schnuckelige Ortschaften, die einen Besuch wert sind und teilweise wirklich schöne Weihnachtsmärkte hatten. Außerdem bietet sich ein Ausflug nach Nürnberg an.

shopping facilities: Bäcker gleich nebenan. Ansonsten sind in Pleinfeld weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

One week of pure relaxation! Very nice, lovingly furnished accommodation. Autumnal impressions already at breakfast - view directly on the Brombachsee. Everything you need is there, super nice landlords.

The stairs may be a problem for taller guests.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Sehr gut angelegte Rad- und Wanderwege, Bootfahren im Oktober leider nicht mehr/bzw. sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Die Gasthäuser in Ramsberg waren Anfang/Mitte Oktober bereits weitgehend geschlossen, das war etwas schade.

free time activities: Wir waren fast ausschließlich per Fahrrad oder zu Fuß unterwegs, um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden.
Weißenburg ist ein sehr schönes Städtchen in der Nähe.

shopping facilities: Bäckerei in der Nachbarschaft, sonstige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Pleinfeld gut erreichbar.

Beautiful autumn days 2012

We returned very positively impressed! A stylish, cozy, and wonderfully located holiday home where you immediately feel at home. Nothing is missing - absolutely nothing! I have never found such equipment in a holiday home before. Also, the technical equipment is unparalleled. Everything is really very tasteful and beautiful, not the usual 0815 with outdated furniture, etc. One doesn't feel like living in a vacation home here. The location couldn't be better! We will come back! Probably already in 2013.

This is how you imagine a perfect vacation!

all around successful because everything is there. You come from home and arrive at a new home. It really lacks nothing. We were at the Siebenschläfer-Häusle for the second time and can really only recommend it. It is optimal for families with children. The location - only 5 minutes to the beach but also by bike you are quickly at other great bathing beaches. When the sun is shining, you don't need anything else. But the surroundings are also worth seeing and you can do a lot. It will definitely not be boring.

shopping facilities: Es gibt eine Bäckerei, die 50m vom Haus entfernt ist. Hier kann man auch Kleinigkeiten (Wurst, Käse, Butter, Eier, Getränke) einkaufen kann. Ansonsten ist Pleinfeld mit dem Auto auch nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Hier gibt es alles vom Discounter bis zum Einzelhändler.

Kurzurlaub

It was a very nice short break in a fantastic location at the beautiful Brombachsee. The holiday apartment was fully equipped, there was nothing missing. The landlords were very friendly, the entire booking process worked perfectly. We will definitely come back next year!

Stress-free zone at Lake Brombach.

We experienced the 8 days at House Siebenschläfer as pure relaxation. We were overwhelmed by the appearance, equipment, cleanliness, and the loving details in and around the house. The "taking care of the guest" even before our holiday (e.g. event tips) was exemplary. In House Siebenschläfer, vacation is truly vacation. Because there was no reason for any annoyance. We are not exaggerating when we say: we have never experienced such a feeling of well-being in a vacation rental before. Thank you!

Siebenschläferhaus again and again!

A nice, small house divided into 2 apartments, located directly on Lake Brombach, awaits you. The owners have built and modernly furnished this house with a lot of love and taste. Every detail has been thought of, which we have never experienced before. Cleanliness is a given here! If you can rent the whole house, you have the garden and terrace with the magnificent lake view all to yourself. Children can play wonderfully in the garden or in front of the house and have a great time with the many toys - the same was also thought for the children inside the house. We have now been to the Siebenschläferhaus for the 2nd time - this year even with the grandparents - and it will not have been the last time!

Holiday without compromises

The house is better equipped than some private households.
It's best to prepare yourself for the fact that after your stay, you'll be inspecting your own household more closely (thanks to the inspiration, we tackled the laundry room in the basement right away).
Everything was perfect, 100% holiday feeling from day one. Super nice, uncomplicated landlords who are dedicated and passionate. Smooth, professional handling from the start.

Family vacation + Pure relaxation!

We were there for the 2nd time now. This time we had friends with us, and we all agreed: The house is perfect! Everything is available, the floor is so comfortable to walk barefoot on, and the children loved washing the sand off in the bathtub in the evenings. The living room is also equipped with everything, books, games, art corner, blankets, fan... Attached to the courtyard with a seating area is a small garden with a lawn where you can also relax.

Short break in March 2011

I just wanted to get away from everyday life and would have loved to stay there, this cozy, well-appointed holiday apartment was so inviting, its landlords so nice and uncomplicated ;)

Everything is really there to feel comfortable! For example, enjoying a cup of coffee on the small balcony with a wonderful view of the lake, or going for a walk in the beautiful surroundings. To arrange their very own vacation, there is a variety of information material about the area and leisure activities in the holiday home, so that everyone, whether young or old, single or family, seeking tranquility or activity, will certainly find something suitable. On one of my explorations, I even discovered a small observatory near the St. James Chapel. And if you don't feel like leaving the house at all, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Brombach and still have the feeling of being "outdoors"!

One last tip:
If you travel outside the main season, remember that some sights and restaurants may only be open during the season,
but as I said. . .
only a few!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Der Brombachsee, obwohl künstlich angelegt, ist in die Landschaft eingebettet als wäre er schon immer da gewesen. Es gibt Stellen an seinem Ufer, da hatte ich (besonders in der Abendsonne) das Gefühl an der Atlantikküste in Frankreich zu sein..Sand.. Föhren..Wasser..Sonne

free time activities: Freizeitmöglichkeiten gibt es für jede Alterstufe , egal ob sportlich (radfahren, schwimmen, surfen, segeln, klettern), naturnah (spazierengehen, beobachten, fotografieren) kulturell (Museen, Ausstellungen, Kino, Vorträge)

shopping facilities: Es gibt wie schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, nur einen Bäcker im Ort, aber das finde ich persönlich nicht so "tragisch", denn:

Autumn Magic 2010

It is a beautiful holiday home in a fantastic location with a view of a stunning lake. We had a wonderful rest. Nothing was missing, we have never been able to use such a perfectly equipped holiday home, the beds were great, everything was simply fantastic!!!!

Feeling good right by the Great Brombach Lake

The holiday apartment on the 1st floor is equipped with great attention to detail. We found everything we needed for our vacation (e.g. games, books, outdoor toys, TV, radio, washing machine with dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen, etc.). The apartment includes a beautiful balcony with a magnificent view over the Großer Brombachsee. There was a pleasant contact with the landlords. They were always available if needed. We felt very comfortable and will gladly come back.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Tolle Lage, da direkt am See, Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe, Dorfkirche befindet sich direkt gegenüber. Der Weg zur Sternwarte lohnt sich schon alleine wegen des wunderschönen Ausblicks über den See.

free time activities: Baden im See, Wassersportangebote, Sommerrodelbahn, Barfußpfad u. Kletterwald in Enderndorf, Nürnberg ist ca. 60 KM entfernt, Herzogenaurach mit Outlets von Herstellern für Sportbekleidung etc. ist ca. 90 KM entfernt, Playmobilland in Zirndorf. Die Region ist ideal zum Radfahren.

shopping facilities: Ein Bäcker ist direkt nebenann, es fehlen jedoch weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort.

1. Urlaub in einer Ferienwohnung

We stayed in the quiet village of Ramsberg. We spent wonderful days in the lower apartment of the house Siebenschläfer. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. We even had luck with the weather and could eat on the patio and enjoy the view of the lake. Just wonderful!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus liegt direkt am See - noch näher geht kaum!!! Meine Familie und ich waren sehr begeistert, wie toll die Anlagen rund um die Seen angelegt sind, bzw. wie sauber alles ist - die Strände, die öffentlichen Toiletten etc.

shopping facilities: Im Ort Ramsberg wäre es schön, wenn es zusätzlich zu dem Bäcker noch einen kleinen Laden gebe, mit Obst, Gemüse etc. Ein paar Kilometer weiter in Pleinfeld, kann man natürlich alles einkaufen - benötigt dann aber wieder das Auto.

Relaxing holiday directly at the lake.

We spent 4 days (3 nights) at the holiday cottage Siebenschläfer and actually didn't want to leave. The cottage is so cozy and absolutely top equipped. We had a kettle, coffee maker, coffee, filter paper, sugar, dishwasher tablets, etc. with us and didn't need to bring any of it - everything is really AVAILABLE on site! It is recommended to rent the entire house. We were there with my sister, her husband, and their baby. Under the roof is a cozy living room, where we spent game nights and crawling exercises together. In the morning, we sat on the balcony and had breakfast with a view of the lake. Dreamlike!
The landlords are very nice, we will definitely come back! It's a pity that everything is already booked in July/August. We hope it works out next year!

shopping facilities: wir haben nur eine Bäckerei 2 Häuser weiter entdeckt, dort bekommt man auch etwas Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Milch... für größere Einkäufe muss man vermutlich nach Pleinfeld fahren (???)

Super kinderfreundlich

Ideal for families. We were absolutely thrilled by the child-friendly equipment. As always, we had packed books, games, and a few building blocks for our daughter. Completely in vain, she didn't play with them for a moment. Because there was simply everything: Playmobil, Lego, books, puzzles, children's chairs, a night light, changing mat, shatterproof children's tableware, and a stair gate. Beach toys, a trampoline, a wagon, stroller, and Bobby Car - if it were up to our daughter, we wouldn't have had to leave the holiday home at all. :-) Highly recommended, especially for a vacation with grandparents (they can retreat to the lower apartment).
