PLEASE NOTE: This is a small, quiet complex with 4 detached houses. Since the houses differ in size and equipment, but here only the possibility is given to make a price quotation, the price refers to the 3 small houses. Also, the occupancy calendar cannot be kept for 4 houses. PLEASE ask for your desired period in order to receive a current offer.

The Eagles View holiday homes were built in 2010 on a plot of approx. 3000 sqm, in a quiet area, slightly set back from the access road to the beach.

The holiday homes are located approx. 2.5 km above the beautiful Triopetra Beach and offer a wide
and offer a wide panoramic view of the Libyan Sea and the landscape in front of it.

They are furnished in the style of a studio, i.e. with a combined living room and bedroom including a fireplace and a separate kitchen area, a dining area and a beautiful balcony.

Sufficient parking space is available. Access to the houses is via an external staircase.

Three of the houses have approx. 45 sqm living space, the fourth house is somewhat larger with 65 sqm and an additional bedroom.

The complex consists of four detached houses with a shared pool.

The house has external blinds and fly screens on all windows and doors.
The house is also fully air-conditioned.
The well-equipped kitchenette offers guests a refrigerator with a large extra freezer compartment,
4 plate ceramic hob with oven and extractor fan, as well as a sink.
Coffee maker, kettle, sandwich maker and a microwave are also part of the equipment.
The dining table seats 4 people.
Bathroom with shower (shower curtain) / WC and a washing machine complete the equipment.
In the living area there is also an LCD-TV with SAT reception.

and has, in addition to the small houses, a further bedroom with double bed.

Triopetra Beach, also known as Akoumia Beach, is located on the south coast of Crete, almost exactly opposite Rethymno.

It takes about 2 hours by car from Heraklion airport. Speaking of cars, we recommend a rental car, it brings the invaluable advantage of mobility to discover Crete and of course to reach us.

We are happy to assist you in finding a cheap rental car.

Akoumia village is about 10 km away, Spili, the next larger village, about 20 km

Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet

Everything was as described, very nice pool. Everything clean.
Only the sofa could be replaced, not suitable for sleeping.
The location and view are great, the proximity to the drinking water source and the Filenia taverna are super. A car is recommended, the beach is quite far away on foot.

First of all, I have to say that we will be back in 2018. The welcome from Peter and Vangelis was very warm and we immediately felt at home. We were immediately invited to eat and drink by the pool. Freshly grilled meat, cold beer and raki were offered. The houses are in top condition and leave nothing to be desired. The pool and the whole complex are clean. The view of the sea is fantastic. In 3 minutes you are at the beautiful beach of Triopetra. The helpfulness of Peter and Vangelis is great. We would like to thank them and look forward to seeing them again in 2018.

very good

Unfortunately we only stayed for 3 days. We liked the very beautiful location, the great view, the tasteful interior design. We also liked the peace and quiet and the pool.
The rent for the period September and October could be a little cheaper.
The beaches are simply fantastic.

Der Zeitraum September/Oktober ist im Süden Kretas der beliebteste Reisezeitraum für Ruhesuchende - und unsere Gegend hat nur wenig Unterkünfte - also sozusagen Hochsaison für uns.
Auch bedeutet ein Aufenthalt von nur 3 Nächten einen Mehraufwand, den ihr natürlich bezahlt habt.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

The first house we had after entering was simply wonderful. Very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. We were completely satisfied and are strongly considering booking this house again next year, but what is certain is that we will definitely vacation in Triopetra again and book Vagelis' house.

The reception upon our arrival was simply wonderful. Peter (who arranged the house for us) and Vagelis (the owner) organized a barbecue evening for us and the other tenants with plenty of delicious food, wine, and raki, which was very welcome as we were hungry and thirsty after the long journey. It was simply wonderful!!!

Great studio with a fantastic view

Beautifully furnished apartment with breathtaking views of the sea. Everything you need is available. Despite our late arrival (23:30!), we were personally greeted briefly by the family in a super nice way. Besides red wine, raki, olive oil, even dinner was prepared for us. The view of the mountains and the sea, the sound of sheep bells, the nighttime silence were soothing for the soul. The beach is amazing. Sunbed and umbrella available for 2.50 per day. Taverns on the beach are really good, and the tavern above the "Filenia" studios is highly recommended. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, this may not be the right place, but for us, it was just perfect. Thank you very much!

Paradies

We can only fully agree with our positive "predecessors". We spent 10 dream days in paradise. The arrangement by Peter was flawless, the landlord family is incredibly warm, the studio sparkles with cleanliness, and the view of the mountains and the sea is fantastic. We will definitely come back!

Urlaub pur

After three hours of flying and almost two varied hours of driving, we were welcomed to paradise by Peter, the German mediator, and Vangeli, the owner of the four houses on the approximately 4000 square meter property, with homemade goat cheese and olives from their own grove. From the balcony of our beautifully furnished, fully equipped (including a very quiet and well-functioning air conditioning) and very clean house, we were treated to an overwhelming view of gently sloping mountain slopes and the turquoise to dark blue sea. At night, the magnificent starry sky often captivated us so much that the early morning plunge into the very clean and fortunately barely chlorinated pool was less invigorating. A later appearance on the beaches of the three large bays in close proximity was not a problem, as they were nearly or completely deserted. They offered us plenty of sand as well as small and large pebbles in the water. Children can build sandcastles and run into the water to their heart's content here. Despite the few tourists, there were 3 taverns nearby where the food was very good. Thanks to Peter, we delved into the culinary depths of Cretan mountain villages beyond menus.

We were delighted to find such an untouched landscape, so much tranquility, relaxation, and Peter in Europe.

Prime location and dream view

The EaglesView complex with its four individual houses is located about 2km from the sea. As the terrain steadily rises, you have a wonderful view of the surroundings, the sea, and the nearby islands of Paximadia from there. The houses are just two years old and in top condition. They are equipped with everything you need. The beautifully cool pool offers a wonderful refreshment. The service is actually difficult to evaluate at a self-catering accommodation, but with the nice reception by Peter, the German-speaking intermediary, and Vagelis, the owner, another great shared barbecue evening with their families and other attentions: full points! ! ! Peter is always ready to help and advise.

People, EaglesView is worth it! ! !

Vicinity of the holiday home: Triopetra hat einen wunderbaren, weitläufigen und sauberen Strand. Weit ab vom Massentourismus ist es selbst zur Stoßzeit angenehm ruhig und der Strand erscheint immer noch leer. Das Meer/Wasser ist toll und klar und lädt zum Schnorcheln/Tauchen ein.
Für das leibliche Wohl sorgen zwei direkt am Strand liegende Tavernen, bei denen man typisch griechische/kretische Gerichte bekommt. Preis-Leistung ist top.

free time activities: Neben einer Auswahl weiterer toller Strände/Buchten in der Umgebung, kann man quasi hinterm Haus auf Wandertour gehen. Für eine Wandertour empfiehlt sich auch immer eine der vielen Schluchten auf Kreta. Da ist z.B. eine kleinere nahe Spili. Oder die Mili-Schlucht bei Rethimno (sehr zu empfehlen).
Die bekannteste und größte ist die Samaria-Schlucht, welche allerdings stark frequentiert ist. Wir haben uns für die etwas kleinere Imbros-Schlucht entschieden, wo es erst gegen Mittag etwas voller wurde. Diese ist auch gut von Triopetra aus zu erreichen.
Zudem natürlich diverse Ausgrabungsstätten wie Knossos oder Festos.
Ca. 1 Stunde entfernt liegt das kleine touristisch geprägte Städtchen Plakias. Dies ist der Ausgangspunkt für diverse buchbare Tagestouren.

shopping facilities: Im Bereich Triopetra direkt gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Dies ist aber nicht weiter schlimm, da es auf dem Weg dorthin in z.B. Akoumia (ca. 10km) einen kleine Laden gibt. Etwas weiter in Spili (ca. 16km) bekommt man eigentlich alles für den täglichen Bedarf.
Für einen Großeinkauf allerdings empfiehlt es sich nahe Rethimno in einer bekannten Supermarktkette einzukaufen.

Eagles View Vangelis House

Top - well-kept cottage among olive trees and thyme. With everything you need inside. Even the bottle of own olive oil is already ready for the first Greek salad.
Just the view from the balcony is already a vacation.
This is rounded off by the truly loving hospitality of Vangelis and his family. We were certainly not here for the last time and gladly recommend it. Thanks again - it was beautiful.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

We spent a great two weeks in one of the EaglesView houses and felt very comfortable from the beginning - thanks to the very nice welcome by the landlord and his agent and the coziness of the house. The view from the balcony is a dream! The proximity to the beach is perfect, and for those seeking peace and relaxation, it is the perfect place to be!

Rural Crete holiday

We, 2 adults and a child (9), spent two very nice weeks in this house. The property consists of 4 individual houses and a beautiful swimming pool. The location is on a mountainside, quiet. We were warmly welcomed by Peter, the owner, and felt very comfortable for 2 weeks. On several days, there was a very strong wind, which made swimming at the beach almost impossible. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with our holiday.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Eine sehr schöne, naturnahe Umgebung am Berghang. Es fahren selten Autos vorbei, man hört ansonsten nur die Schafe mit ihren Glocken. Eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer und die hügelige Landschaft. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich.

free time activities: Freizeitmöglichkeiten beschränken sich auf Strand und Naturspaziergänge. Größere Attraktionen finden sich im Norden der Insel. Aufgrund dessen ist man aber selbst in der Hauptsaison fast nur unter Griechen...

shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur möglich im ca. 4 km entfernten Acoumia oder im ca. 22km entfernten Spili (Supermarkt).

Great location at Triopetra Beach.

The new houses EaglesView really impressed us. Beautiful pool, great view, very good facilities. Very friendly and helpful landlords.

The young plants do not yet provide shade and the stairway is not yet suitable for children or seniors.

Wonderful location with lots of sunshine and great views

The spacious room is tastefully furnished and has everything you need in terms of kitchen utensils; you can have a lovely breakfast on the terrace and the fireplace brings great joy when it is cooler; the complex is well-maintained and easy to navigate; the landlord and his wife are there when you need them and very friendly; we will gladly come back!

We - Peter and Mari-Anne - have been living in this wonderful, relatively untouristed and quiet area since 2000 and look after a few selected houses which we can recommend with a clear conscience to holidaymakers seeking peace and quiet. The beach is unspoilt and kilometres long - everyone can find their own spot here - naturism is possible in many areas
