Beautiful, quiet apartment (50 sqm) for 2 people in an exclusive location with excellent amenities, directly on the lake (public swimming area access 30 m) in the Inn Valley, northern Chiemgau near Wasserburg am Inn (5 km). Lake view, terrace, barbecue area with Cobb grill, 2 sun loungers, garden. Fast Wi-Fi, large TV, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, fully automatic coffee machine and good equipment. All windows with electric shutters and fly screens, controlled living space ventilation with pollen filter, underfloor heating, box spring bed. The bathroom has a large shower with toilet and washing machine (pods incl.). Keyless entry via pin code. Free bicycle storage and parking space in the carport with wallbox for bike and car directly at the entrance. The location is ideal for swimming, cycling, golf, and hiking holidays (Samerberg 39 km), train station and café 800 m, restaurant and supermarkets from 1.7 km. (bike path)
You can visit castles or take boat trips on Lake Chiemsee, visit the farmhouse or automobile museum in nearby Amerang, go camel riding with the Bavaria Camels in Valley, or visit the historic towns on the Inn: Wasserburg am Inn, Rosenheim, Mühldorf, or Burghausen. A trip to Munich, for example for concerts, is also recommended.
Due to the proximity to Munich, we also offer an exclusive overnight option in the MVV area for business travelers and Oktoberfest visitors (800 m to the train station).
For a wellness day, we recommend the thermal baths in Bad Aibling, Erding, Bad Endorf, and especially the Badria in Wasserburg am Inn (5 km).

The private house is situated directly at the Staudhamer See on a 2000sqm large area at the quiet outskirts of the village and is currently inhabited by 2 families without children. During the day you have to expect noise from the nearby bathing place, but it is closed from 22h to 7h.

Friday from 12h to 17h and occasionally Saturday, depending on the weather the garden is maintained and you have to expect small restrictions. Sunday is not possible. We are happy to advise you on planning excursions, bike tours and also provide you with our stand-up paddle, free of charge, for a sporty round on the lake.

A dream
We spent a short week at this dreamy place.

a small paradise
We (a total of 177 years!) spent 14 wonderful vacation days here and are full of gratitude for Dr. Posch and his wife. The apartment is equipped with every conceivable comfort; there is truly nothing missing. The thoughtful attention to guests is also evident in a bouquet of roses in the room, various drinks, chocolate, and small items like matches and a shoehorn. We were especially happy about the ventilation during the hot days, and we have rarely slept as well as in the box spring beds. A special joy is enjoying the garden, which was now in full bloom with roses, the absolute peace, and the proximity to the lake, which can also be easily accessed by those with mobility impairments. Last but not least, I thank Dr. Posch for all the patience in answering my questions in advance and also here. We can wholeheartedly recommend this paradise.

The perfect vacation apartment
We had a wonderful time in this extraordinarily beautiful vacation apartment. The decor is very successful and tasteful, and everything else leaves nothing to be desired. The terrace by the Staudhamer Lake immediately puts you in a vacation mood. It is only a few meters to the "bathing beach" of the lake, but these lead over a private path. Thus, you are very close, but still have privacy on the terrace at any time! The lake was already pleasantly warm in June and invited swimming and SUP riding.
The entire apartment is equipped with fly screens and has a modern ventilation system, which keeps it very comfortably temperate. The kitchen equipment offers everything one needs; nothing was lacking, everything was thought of, even a milk frother. A coffee machine is also available, including coffee beans. Additionally, the very friendly landlords welcomed us with sweets and some cold drinks, as well as regional eggs and numerous excursion tips. You definitely won't get bored in this area! The bed was also very comfortable, not too soft, just right for a relaxing vacation. Everything in this apartment was simply perfect - we are already looking forward to the next time!
