This spacious holiday park consists of 74 holiday homes, some of which are located in an old restored farmhouse. At Ghiacci Vecchi we offer various semi-detached bungalows, which are all nicely furnished and air conditioned. One holiday home is suitable for two to four people (35 m², IT-57021-20), the other one is perfect for four to six people (50 m², IT-57021-21). Both houses have a private, partly covered, terrace with seats.

Welcome to the holiday park Ghiacci Vecchi, a well-tended green holiday park at 2 km from the Tuscan Coast. This is the area between Livorno and Piombino with the best beaches in all of Tuscany. This spacious holiday park consists of 74 holiday homes, some of which are located in an old restored farmhouse. There are two swimming pools, one for the children and one for adults. Both are fenced in and have a terrace with loungers. There is plenty of room for everyone, whether it is to splash around the pool or relax in the sun with a good book. Spread over the green terrain you'll find playground equipment, table tennis, you can even rent bikes. There is also a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
In this part of Tuscany you can visit several archeological sites dating back to the Etruscan area. The most well known is the village of Populonia (11 km), a port town founded by the Etruscans. Nowadays the village is part of a archeological park where a lot can be seen, from everyday objects to burial tombs. A more light-hearted daytrip would be a boat trip to the gorgeous island of Elba. You'll take the boat from Piombino (15 km) and within an hour you'll set foot on the quay of the charming capital of Portoferraio, where you can visit Napoleon's house. Elba has many gorgeous deserted bays and a cobalt blue sea.
There are also plenty of nice places to visit on the mainland. What would you think of the quaint medieval village of Massa Marittima (40 km), offering a spectacular view over the surroundings.

Excellent location, especially for families without children or with children under the age of twelve; for families with adolescents less geschikt.Mooie bungalow, with spacious bedroom and large, neat badkamer.Restaurant was a bit disappointing; had dinner outside the park (especially in the old city of Piombino).

Our holiday was outside the school holidays so it was very quiet on t park.Maar I would recommend it just for families with small children because it is nice and compact and example. The pool is surrounded by a fence and enough climbing and gaming sites are present. Since all houses are focused on t lawn and pool the kids will also find fast friends and a lot together spelen.Op the park is a good restaurant that makes delicious pizza 's and the price is very ok.Binnen 10 km there for more than enough to see wonderful real Italian mountain villages and have a great natuurgebied.Wij enjoyed this holiday and 2016 is already booked because we still have not seen anything in the area.

We as a family with two children had a happy and peaceful holiday. The owners do everything possible tenants to make it to their liking. We felt that our refrigerator was not working well, the next day there was a new set. Same with respect to the operation of the air conditioner immediately action was taken and a specialist long controlled. Staff are extremely helpful given our experiences of the first week, then we have a week booked.

Excellent reception, by employee who spoke excellent English. Checking in outside opening time office is no problem. Beautiful accommodation definitely recommended. Environment good for cycling and relaxing on various types of beaches. A small drawback during our stay was the park still quite empty so it took a long time before the shower became hot.
