In August 2024, we had the opportunity to experience our first vacation in Croatia with the Skapul family. Fundamentally, I am always skeptical about new places and accommodations. However, here it was different. We felt comfortable right away, and the location relative to the costs is simply unbeatable. Our hosts are extremely friendly and available at any time.
The apartment is well and functionally equipped and offers everything one needs for a relaxing vacation. Due to the very hot days, the ice cube machine was our best friend.
The beach bar of the Skapul family is nicely located right on the beach. Unfortunately, we just couldn't manage to stop by here. We will make up for it on our next trip to Croatia... we were convinced and will come back next year.
A heartfelt "thank you" to the Skapul family for the wonderful time. Keep everything as it is... you can tell that you are really welcome here.

We are now here for the 4th time with the Skapul family and can definitely recommend the house.
We have had three different apartments so far, all very clean, well-maintained, and everything you need in the kitchen is available. If something is ever missing, you can always contact the owners, and everything will be made possible. They are the best. There are enough fresh towels to exchange, the beds are very comfortable and above all clean; I have never found such clean and comfortable beds in any hotel.
What I like best is that there is now a laundry room that leaves nothing to be desired, so you don't have to take so much clothing with you, especially practical when traveling with children. However, we always bring our own laundry detergent. There is also a drying rack on the balcony. Air conditioning, large television with German programs, kettle, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, freezer, refrigerator, and an electric stove are available as electronic devices.
In our bathroom this year, there is ample storage in a mirrored cabinet and a great washbasin with 2 drawers (Apartment No. 3), and there are also sufficient towel hooks and bars.
This apartment also has two balconies. There is a great barbecue area for guests, which should please be cleaned up afterwards.
In the basement, the Skapul family has set up a very nice lounge with a ping-pong table, music, and a seating area during the winter months. It invites for game nights?
The beach equipment can be stored in the garage in front. The Skapul family owns a beach bar that is about 550 m away; the beach itself can be reached in just 200 m, where there are sun loungers and umbrellas available for rent, and plenty of entertainment for children, including a soccer field.
The Skapul beach bar is highly recommended; the food is excellent at great prices.

Family vacation with children.
We were at the Skapul family's house for the first time. It's not comparable to the other apartments we have stayed in in Lopar. The location and surroundings are simply great. Everything is accessible without a car, except if you want to go to Rab (about 10-15 minutes), but that's perfectly fine. There are several lemon trees in the garden that are really beautiful to look at.
The Skapul family is very friendly and their beach restaurant is highly recommended. Their homemade red wine is very good.
We can highly recommend this house with a clear conscience!
We are looking forward to the next time.

If Lopar then here!!!
We stayed here for a week with our two boys and can only recommend it
it is not super modern but you have everything you need, it is clean, great balcony, comfortable beds. you could always change towels and dish towels that were in front of the room enough
we received a very warm welcome and were able to contact our hosts at any time
you can get to the beach very quickly, there are plenty of restaurants, a bakery right on the corner... we can only rave and would book again any time if the drive to lopar wasn't so miserably far :( but we will definitely be back sometime
ps: the olive oil is sooo delicious

Beautiful & Clean Apartment
We stayed in the Skapul family flat in June 2020 exactly after the travel warning. Very nice and clean flat. We always had fresh towels available. There was also disinfectant in the hallway. There are also plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately I forgot my mobile phone in the flat (something that has never happened to me before) and it was sent back to me. You rarely meet such honest people these days. The Skapul family are very nice, hospitable and honest people. We have stayed in many flats in Lopar, but so far we have liked the family best.

Wir hatten bisher drei verschiedene Wohnungen, alle sehr sauber, top gepflegt und alles was man in der Küche braucht ist vorhanden. Sollte mal etwas fehlen darf man sich immer an die Besitzer wenden und es wird alles möglich gemacht. Sie sind die Besten. Es gibt genug frische Handtücher, die man austauschen kann, die Betten sind sehr bequem und vor allem sauber, solch saubere und bequeme Betten habe ich noch in keinem Hotel vorgefunden.
Am besten gefällt mir das es mittlerweile einen Waschraum gibt, der auch keine Wünsche offen lässt, so muss man nicht so viel an Garderobe mitnehmen, gerade praktisch wenn wann mit Kindern unterwegs ist. Waschmittel bringen wir allerdings uns immer selber mit. Einen Wäscheständer gibt es auch auf dem Balkon. .
Klimaanlage, großer Fernseher mit deutschen Programm, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Gefrierfach , Kühlschrank und ein E-Herd sind an elektronischen Geräten vorhanden.
In unserem diesjährigen Badezimmer gibt es ausreichend Stauraum in einem Spiegelschrank und einen tollen Waschtisch mit 2 Schubladen (Wohnung Nr.3), auch Handtuchhaken und Stangen sind ausreichend vorhanden.
Diese Wohnung hat auch zwei Balkone.
Es gibt einen tollen Grillplatz für die Gäste , den man bitte danach auch wieder sauber macht.
Im Keller hat die Familie Skapul in den Wintermonaten einen sehr schönen Aufenthaltsraum mit Tischtennisplatte, Musik und einer Sitzecke fertig gestellt. Lädt ein für Spieleabende ?.
Die Strandutensilien können in der Garage davor untergestellt werden.
Familie Skapul besitzt eine Strandbar die ungefähr 550 m entfernt ist, der Strand selbst kann schon in 200 m erreichbar sein, dort gibt es Liegen und Sonnenschirme zu mieten und für Kinder gibt es dort reichlich Unterhaltung, selbst ein Soccerfeld ist vorhanden.
Die Strandbar von Skapuls ist sehr empfehlenswert, das Essen ist top zu super Preisen.

Hier war es allerdings anders. Wir fühlten uns direkt wohl und die Lage im Verhältnis zu den Kosten sind einfach unschlagbar. Unsere Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und jederzeit für einen erreichbar.
Die Wohnung ist gut und funktional ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Bedingt durch die sehr heißen Tage war die Eiswürfelmaschine unser bester Freund.
Die Strandbar von Familie Skapul ist toll gelegen, direkt am Strand. Leider haben wir es einfach nicht geschafft, hier einzukehren. Dieses werden wir aber im nächsten Kroatien-Urlaub nachholen ... wir wurden überzeugt und kommen im nächsten Jahr wieder.
Ein herzliches "Danke schön" an Familie Skapul für die wunderbare Zeit. Behaltet alles so bei, wie es ist ... man merkt, dass man hier wirklich willkommen ist.
Lage und Umgebung einfach super. Alles ohne Auto erreichbar außer wenn man nach Rab ausfahren möchte (ca. 10-15min) das ist aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Im Garten stehen mehrere Zitronenbäume die richtig schön anzusehen sind.
Familie Skapul ist sehr freundlich und Ihr Strandrestaurant ist einfach nur zu empfehlen. Der selbst machte Rotwein ist sehr gut.
Mit gutem Gewissen können wir dieses Haus nur empfehlen!

sie ist viell nicht super modern aber man hat alles was man braucht, es ist sauber, toller balkon, bequeme betten. man konnte jederzeit handtücher u geschirrtücher austauschen die lagen vor dem zimmer ausreichend.
wir wurden super herzlich empfangen u konnten uns jederzeit bei unseren gastgebern melden.
man ist super schnell am tollen strand, es gibt genügend restaurants, einen bäcker direkt an der ecke… wir können nur schwärmen und würden jederzeit wieder buchen wenn die anfahrt nach lopar nicht so elend weit wäre :( aber irgendwann kommen wir sicher wieder.
ps: das olivenöl ist sooo lecker
Wenn wir noch einmal die Insel Rab besuchen sollten, werden wir ganz bestimmt wieder bei Fam. Skapul wohnen wollen.

Wir kommen schon seit 5 Jahren in dieses Haus und sind wie immer begeistert von der Freundlichkeit und der Hilfsbereitschaft der Vermieter . Die Wohnungen sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet , sehr sauber und gepflegt . Hier bleiben keine Wünsche offen - großer Flachbildschirm , schnelles WLAN ,sehr gute Küchenausstattung ,gemütliche Balkonmöbel-geräumiger Balkon ,Klimaanlage , täglich neue Handtücher und Geschirrtücher man fühlt sich fast wie in einem 4 Sterne Hotel . Top Lage in 5 Geh Minuten ist man am Strand ,Bäcker und Supermarkt sind fast vor der Haustür .
Die Familie Skapul führt ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant "Bonaca" am Strand.
Das Essen dort ist lecker vor allem die Fischgerichte bei schönster Aussicht auf das Meer . Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.
Wir haben für das neue Jahr schon wieder gebucht und freuen uns auf den nächsten Urlaub bei der Familie Skapul.
Bereits bei unserer Ankunft sind wir sehr herzlich von der Familie Skapul empfangen worden.
Die Zimmer sind Top ausgestattet und sehr sehr sauber!! Man fühlt sich ab der ersten Minute sehr wohl.
Auch das Lokal "Bonaca", der Familie Skapul, das direkt am Strand liegt, ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Man kann hier leckeres Essen mit dem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer genießen.

Sandstrand + Supermarkt in nächster Nähe schnell zu Fuß erreichbar.
Der Strand ist vor allem für Familien bestens geeignet,
viele Spiel- und Animationsmöglichkeiten. Bootsausflüge,
Fahrten mit Glasbodenboote, Tauchfahrten starten direkt
im nahen Hafen.
Die Gastgeber verfügen über beste deutsche Sprachkenntnisse-
sie betreiben ein sehr gutes Restaurant direkt am Strand
„BONACA“ - hier kann man größere und kleinere Mahlzeiten
tagsüber und auch abends geniessen – mit wunderbarem
Ausblick über Strand und Bucht.
Die Inhaber bieten außerdem eigene Weine und Liköre
und fangfrischen Fisch. Ein guter Tipp auch für die Vor-
und Nachsaison im Mai, Juni und September!

wir durften im August zwei wunderbare Urlaubswochen in Ihrem wunderschönen Haus verbringen.
Die Wohnungen sind einfach spitzenmässig - vor allem der Luxus, zwei Badezimmer zu haben, ist einfach grandios. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Was auch besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist der großzügige Balkon, auf dem wir jeden Tag gefrühstückt haben. Man sitzt vollkommen für sich und hat keine Berührung zum Nachbar-Apartement. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich gleich familiär aufgenommen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch die von Familie Skapul geführte Strandbar. Leckeres frisch zubereitetes Essen und prima Cocktails. Das selbstgemachte Olivenöl und der gute Zitronenlikör sind unbedingt muss man unbedingt probieren. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt, zum Strand, Bäcker, Konzum, zahlreiche Gastronomie - alles innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen und trotzdem ist man etwas außerhalb des Zentrums. Das einzige, das ich vermisst habe, war ein Staubsauger in der Wohnung. Aber wahrscheinlich hätte man sich einen ausleihen können, wenn man gefragt hätte.
Liebe Familie Skapul, wir werden auf jeden Fall in spätestens ein oder zwei Jahren wieder bei Ihnen Urlaub machen.

Die Vermieter Familie Skapul sind sehr sehr freundlich und familiär.
Auch das von ihnen geführte Strandrestaurant BONACA direkt am Paradiesstrand von San Marino läd zum guten Essen ein.
Wir alls Familie 2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern waren schon zum 4mal bei Familie Skapul und wir haben auch schon wieder unseren Urlaub 2016 bei ihnen gebucht, weil es uns einfach dort gefällt.
