Recommended! Everything went smoothly. From the registration to departure, very friendly staff. No deposit, everything based on trust, no inspection or meter reading. Keys picked up late in the evening from a hidden key safe, returned on the day of departure, done. The apartment is almost barrier-free; we traveled with a person who had a torn ligament and had to sit in a wheelchair. Since everything is on the ground floor (except for the two entrance steps), it was very pleasant. The owner lives just a few houses away and is also very nice and stopped by to see if we needed anything. The accommodation was very clean, a big compliment to the cleaning staff. The kitchen has everything you need. It is only 4 minutes to the beach, just far enough away to be a bit away from the general hustle and bustle (especially in summer). The accommodation is anyway located on a quiet side street. Inside, everything is beautifully decorated, there are more than 300 books inviting you to browse, including for children. The TV is a smart TV. (We did not try the smaller TV on the wall in the bedroom, but it also looks modern.) Although the apartment is very spacious (175 sqm), the Wi-Fi reaches all rooms, sufficient for normal surfing and streaming. The "fourth" bedroom is only for children (bunk bed to climb into), this may not be so clear in the pictures and the description. Overall, we were very satisfied, we found the price to be fair. (There is also the Ostseecard for tourist tax and access to the beach, currently (May 2026) 28 euros per week for adults, children under 18 free). Beach and bakery etc. within walking distance, pharmacy and a slightly larger supermarket are available in the neighboring Grube. On the beach promenade, there are many cheap "stalls" and at least two good restaurants. There is also a lot of programming offered here, such as live concerts on the weekend. The locals are relaxed and very friendly. We liked it a lot, and our children did too.
