The elders have named this place "Ranc de Figère" «the planted rocks or rooted rocks» in the Provencal dialect,because of the mysterious tracks left by the Neolithic men who inhabited the region.
Today, its streams, rocks and garrigue still whisper their dreams.
Come and discover the distinct atmosphere and the beauty of this majestic mansion, set in the heart of the Provencal Ardèche, next to the picturesque village of Labeaume and its gorges. You will find space, luxury and comfort, as well as a variety of outdoor activities in the peaceful garrigue or on the karstic plateau.
Detached villa set on 3,500 m² grounds among the typical environment of 'garrigue' and rock formations.
Access through a small country road.

Located between the picturesque village of Labeaume and Ruoms, at 800 m from the Beaume gorges and kilometers from the Ruoms Gorge, 10 km from Vallon Pont d'Arc (with its wonderfull canyons and the paleolithique cave "Chauvet") and not far from the Chassezac canyon .80 km from Avignon and Nimes. Large choice of paths ideal for walking, hiking or mountain-biking.
The house is built on the megalithic necropolis of the “Ranc de Figère”,
300 m from the dolmens circuit and 800 m from the Beaume gorges and their beaches.

Relaxation holiday
We were very satisfied. Had a nice holiday with five people in the tastefully furnished house. The contact with the landlord, as well as with the people on site, was very nice. If something was not right, it was taken care of immediately. We also found a welcome wine in the fridge, thank you again for that.
If you love nature, this is the right place. The location is ideal as a starting point for various excursions. The only minor downside is that the WiFi does not reach the pool, but that is complaining at a high level and probably bothered the youth more than us ;-)
We like to think back often to our first holiday in France.

Large comfortable house
We felt very comfortable with our large family (9 people) in this comfortable house. We especially liked the covered terrace and the chilly pool. There are many leisure activities. For example, you can walk directly from the house on the Dolmen hiking trail. The contact with Richard was very friendly.

Highly recommended
We stayed with five motorbikes for a week in this very beautiful property. We were particularly impressed by the very large garage.
From Ruoms you can start wonderful tours, the service around the house is very friendly and uncomplicated. The village is easy to reach on foot (20 min.) and has a lot of gastronomy, by motorbike you can reach a Centre Comercial in 10 min.

Beautiful family holiday
We - 2 families with a total of 4 children - spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday week in this very well-equipped holiday home. The house was very well maintained, the leisure facilities with pool, table tennis, table football, and boules court were also very extensive for the older children. The children loved playing in the adventurous garden. The area has a lot to offer with paddling on the Ardeche, swimming in Ardeche and Beaume, and many interesting museums, as well as visits to charming small towns like Ruomes. The contact with the landlord was very uncomplicated and friendly. We will come back!

The house is a dream !!!
The house is a dream. We went there for the first time after friends recommended it to us. It is situated in a fabulous landscape. All around are dolmens, thousands of years old grave monuments from the Stone Age! Just like that - among the bushes. If you love the south, but at the same time also the peace and seclusion, you can find yourself here
The village is - we have known southern France for over thirty years - one of the most picturesque we have seen on our travels. You can eat well there, wander through narrow streets and linger down by the little river, which is crossed by an old stone bridge without railings. A journey into another time.
The pool at the house always offers cooling when it gets too hot.
I was most taken with the interior of the house: it is very tastefully furnished. The owner seems to be a real artist. I especially liked what he did with stones, tiles and pictures. It creates a spacious, stimulating and relaxing atmosphere
Both landlords are totally friendly, open, helpful and happy to give information and tips on what to do in the area. They are always ready for a chat - even if you don't speak French. You can get along fine with English
We will return to the peace and tranquillity of this well-kept house as soon as we can

Une très agréable propriété
La maison est très bien équipée , grande et propre . Les chambres sont confortables et bien décorées comme dans tout le reste de la maison d'ailleurs. Nous avons apprécié entre autres les barrières de sécurité pour les petits à l'intérieur ainsi que sur la grande ...très grandes terrasse qui a une vue plongeante sur la piscine . Les propriétaires nous ont très bien conseillé.
On vous conseille sans réserve ce lieu . Cela a été un de nos plus beau séjour en France.

wonderful vacation for 2 families
In this beautiful large house, nothing is missing. It is very well maintained and everything is as described. A nice welcome with a chilled bottle of rosé at around 35 degrees was a great start to the holiday! The house offers everything for every taste, for big and small. Shady spots by the pool, a huge terrace with an awning, beautiful rooms where you can retreat, good beds, a fully equipped kitchen and the Weber grill, which we used a lot.
The pool is very clean and large enough for small water polo training sessions and was used frequently.
The view of the beautiful landscape of the Ardèche from the 1st floor is fantastic. The house is very quiet, yet everything is nearby: a large supermarket and some smaller shops in Ruoms, a very nice beach on the Labeaume river, Vallon for kayaking, cave visits. There was also a lot on offer for those of us who enjoy cycling.
That was definitely not the last time we were in the Ardèche... highly recommended!

Un bien belle demeure !
Nous avons passé de très agréables vacances dans cette belle demeure . Tout le monde à profité de la piscine à débordement et du terrain de pétanque . Les commerces sont proches . Labeaume est un village magnifique , hors du temps . On vous recommande ce gîte .

Location très propre et bien entretenue idéalement située. La caverne du Pont d'Arc n'est pas loin. Beaucoup d'espace et piscine très agréable . Labeaume est un amour de village , authentique et pleins de charmes.

Un petit paradis
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette magnifique propriété , propre, grande et au calme . Il ne manque rien . Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques .
Les gorges sont toutes proches ainsi que les chemins de randonnées qui débutent en poussant la grille .

Traumhafter Urlaub in atemberaubender Umgebung
Wer die Ardeche Region liebt, die urtümliche Natur und ein außergewöhnliches Haus mit wunderschönem Ausblick sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Alles war tip top sauber. Die Ausstattung des Hauses, insbesondere der Küche ist super. Zwei Kühlschränke, Gefrierschrank und der Weber-Grill (!!!) auf der Terrasse kamen uns bei den zwei zu feiernden Geburtstagen zu Gute. Frische Kräuter direkt vom Beet geerntet verfeinerten unsere Speisen.
Die Nähe zu unserem Lieblingsort Labeaume ist toll. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man die Ardeche, die Beaume und den Chassesac erkunden will.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist sehr nett und problemlos.
Bei der Endreinigung sollte tatsächlich die riesige Wohnfläche beachtet werden!
