The approx. 50 km long Tauernradwanderweg invites you to explore the landscape. Hike in the heart of nature and let yourself be enchanted. Get out into nature and bring movement into life - that is the motto for holidays in the Wildkogel holiday arena, in Austria's most beautiful open-air fitness studio. Hiking is definitely the best way to explore the mountains. The high-altitude hiking trails that run through the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern are particularly popular with families. The Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area promises the best views of the Hohe Tauern National Park. If you like it cozy, you can take the 6-person gondola up the mountain in comfort. There are other sights in the vicinity, such as Zell am See, Großglockner, Kitzbühel and romantic Salzburg: all within meters by car

A fantastic apartment with very friendly landlords. Apartment is very clean and has a nice view of the mountains. Kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, oven and induction hob. Bathrooms are compact, perhaps a little too compact because not everything fits completely, but very nice with a rain shower, among other things. Contact via whatsapp was fantastic, not having to use it much (fortunately) but the response time was very short. Check-in is contactless and went very smoothly. The apartment is equipped with an elevator, beautiful basement with sauna and possibility to do laundry.
Tip: within walking distance is restaurant Der Drahtesel run by Dutch people with delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere.
Conclusion: an absolute must.
