We had a really nice week in Holland, but the weather and the surroundings were more important here and not the holiday apartment. First of all, I have to say that this was the 6th time we were on holiday at the holiday park, so we knew the location and the location Requirements on site. We have already lived in different holiday homes there, but I have to say that the other accommodations offered a much better price / performance ratio. You can't say that the description of the house is incorrect or misleading, but the pictures hide it, that the living space is quite cramped and the furniture is very worn (partly missing baseboards, torn buttons on the dining room chairs, drilled hinge screws on the wardrobes, wavy PVC floor, etc.). It is also worth mentioning that access to the fenced-in part of the “garden” from the house is only possible through one bedroom. Otherwise it was clean and there were a variety of cleaning materials and cloths available.

As a family with 2 children, we spent two weeks in the De Tulp house in Noordwijkerhout. It was a wonderful two weeks, partly because of the holiday home and the location. The park still looks a bit old-fashioned here and there, but we did not experience this in the end. The owner of the holiday home welcomed us; for the transfer of the key and the access card for the park (parking lot) and she quickly showed us around the park and in their holiday home. How nice is it to have covered beds on arrival and not have to take care of bath and kitchen linen yourself? And there was a bouquet of sunflowers in a vase, a nice welcome! The cottage was clean on arrival, but in particular the kitchen (and accessories in the kitchen) was a bit sticky / greasy here and there. Perhaps because not all kitchen utensils are used, but cooking is done. The rest, on the other hand, was clean. And everything you can think of was there! Also in the associated shed that we were allowed to use (think of BBQ, folding cart, garden chairs with cushions and the dryer). On the patio is an inviting wooden patio set, with a parasol. A drying rack is also available. And on some evenings we lit the "fireplace" without it having to give off heat. With some candles lit, cozy! The beds slept wonderfully. In the bedrooms there were fans and/or air conditioning/heating. Just in front of the door of the holiday home is a forest path towards the Oosterduinsemeer. Unfortunately we could not use the lake, because of blue-green algae. This problem appeared to have existed for some time and in all likelihood will continue for some time to come. We would have liked to have been informed about this in advance (by Belvilla?), which unfortunately did not happen, because we had adjusted ourselves to swimming, rowing and kayaking in and on the lake. That was quite a disappointment. Fortunately, the sea is more than 2 km away, so on
